When I was a boy my mum gave me a daily dose of Caster oil sweetened with sugar and lemon juice. I am 76 and have not really been ILL in all my life. Much as I love Barbara’s work, I would avoid covering with plastic especially with the dangers of plastic is getting observed in the body systems today. People used castor packs way before plastics arrived on the scene.

I’ve infused my Castor oil with lavender, mullein, peppermint, spearmint, holy Basil etc….. whatever you like and whatever works for what you’re trying to relieve. You can infuse it with anything just make sure you crush up the leaves or twigs so they can release their oils and healing properties into the Castor oil. Mom infuses hers with red onions and uses it for coughs and congestion. She puts it on her chest and on her feet and then puts on socks 🧦 she’s all better the next day.

I disagree with her that you should not use castor oil internally. I am from the Carribean. I am 71 now. When I was a child we were all given a tablespoon of castor oil to flush our bodies of worms every few months. It tasted awful and it was very scary to see worms falling from our bottoms.

I had really bad inflammation pain in my abdominal area due to endometriosis. I found out castor oil packs help alleviate inflammation pain. I applied 4-5 times and I don’t have anymore pain. It also felt really good around my ovary area. I could feel it helping my body feel better. I know it helps unblock fallopian tubes as well. The kind of castor oil I used was Palmas Christi from Amazon. I used a hot pad and separated the cloth with plastic wrap so it didn’t get on the hot pad. So grateful we have these natural ways of feeling better.

I have a question I had both breasts removed and the internal scar tissue is across the entire chest into my armpits and up into my collarbone area - it is very tight even with physical therapy - so i am wondering would the caster oil help to reduce the scar tissue and make it soft instead of me living with an internal 2by4 with splinters. Consistancy is key. Lots of people get discouraged easy when healing, especially scars like yours, takes more time than expected.
Also try avocado compression and eat avocado. I believe I read that avocados dissolve scar tissue under the skin. Try researching it. But the Dr said the castor oil dissolves bone spurs, so why not scar tissue as well.

I have bone spurs on my neck. I’ve been using it for three evenings. I had changed my diet and gluten plus potatoes affected my neck causing inflammation making it more painful with severe nerve pain down my arms, plus dizziness. The nerve pains have come back after three years because the spurs continue growing I guess. For the last three nights I haven’t had any nerve pain, because it usually happens when I’m in bed giving me sleepless nights. I have also noticed that I can move a bit more freely when I have the oil on. I haven’t used a compress etc because I don’t have any, so spread it on with a kitchen towel, wore an old tee shirt till bedtime. I did this just after my teatime meal giving it time to soak in for bed. I put it right around my neck, and over the tops of my shoulders and across the collar bones. It takes a couple of hours to soak in. I have a towel behind my head/shoulders area on the back of the sofa to keep the oil off my sofa. When I go to bed I try to settle into a position that I know doesn’t usually set the pains off, but by morning I’m not in that position ever. By the way I’ve been eating a high fat animal based diet for the last four years, that has made an immense difference to all my joints that were in pain, no more IBS, dry skin, dermatitis, no dairy so no more hayfever and excema either. I hope this helps someone!

My Mom kept on getting bladder infection, and it was cured by drinking cranberry juice. You can buy dried cranberries and throw them in a jug with hot boiled water at let it ferment. The thing with bladder infection is it keeps on coming back the trick is to drink cranberry juice for a few months. My Mom has never had a bladder infection again. I make sure I make cranberries part of my diet 2x a week.
