Nice job! I love shop organization projects, doing mostly these on my channel this year. I look forward to the corner clamp project, I have several of the Rockler clamp it forms.
Great job on the build well paced and tips along the way. I have built same storage unit and am going to remake it with drawer guides so I can pull them out and use them without having to take the bins completely out.
Nice job i like that you made two rows. i made one like it a while back. wish i saw your video before. i like the plans maybe next time i will build from your plan and post it on my channel. keep up the good work.😀😀
Did you consider using full shelves rather than just the runners? Would that make the unit more rigid. I’m making something very similar to fit under my workbench - keen to save some timber but if I use full sheets, then I can use the shelves for other bits ... decisions, decisions!
I'm curious about your workbench, I had the same idea about using a hardwood plug for the dog/holdfast holes. How is that working out for you? Great storage solution by the way.
+Chris Marvin yep the dog holes are great! Walnut dowel. Just wish i had made a centre finder or a jig to drill out the 19mm holes once fitted to the bench, as two of them are not quite centre and it bugs me. I may drill them out and remake them. I use a round over bit on the top of the holes just to protect them from the hold downs. They work great and i think they look nice.
Nice concept and execution, as well. Have you found that the vertical panels have flexed (in or out), since they do not have a rigid middle "shelf"? Just curious.
Is this sketchup model available for download? I just picked up some deep fatmax pro from screwfix (they have a BOGOF deal running right now) and would like to have a go at this...
love the corner clamp look forward to the build video the storage cart is something that I have thought about doing thanks for the idea
Great build! I particularly like the tip on using spacers to keep the clamp up from altering the width.
Nice! I always love to see how others organize their shops. Good idea with the clamps too!
+GuysWoodshop yep me too, i find it fascinating seeing other people workshops!
Over built. Beautiful, and I love it. Thanks.
biffy7 built to last ;)

Yep I wish I had done that!!!
right don't you find it a pain to always have to put the bins on another surface to use them.
+Pat M yes!!!

I realy need one of these !!!! thanks for sharing, great project
No worries! Not so cheap but well worth the investment! I really love mine, having somewhere to put bits and bobs is great.

Yep I wish I had now
It's 50% plywood and 50% screws. :)

Andrew Bieger nope it's double layered 18mm + 18mm so no flex at all ;)
Great idea, will be doing something similar soon, where do you get the shallow Stanley boxes? I can only find the deep ones from Screwfix
I think I got them from ffx
