Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise soundtrack (ENHANCED!)

- Here is the full soundtrack to one of my favorite software games of my childhood from the 1990s, "Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise" by Humongous Entertainment. I used the MS-DOS version (later version included on the "Humongous Classics Collection") on ScummVM with the MIDI settings running off my MacBook's CoreAudio system. The results are FANTASTIC, sounding more orchestral, and sound much better than the more simplistic-sounding Windows/3DO versions; they're even in full stereo!
I have to admit, I think THIS is how the music in the 1995 Windows version should have sounded. - Ігри
As a little boy, I remember playing this game, too!
I was born in 1993 so I played this game a couple of years later, I liked especially Fatty's quote: "I do believe there's something in my pocket, i need for the cake, I should leave it on the counter" and loved the kind of mysterious song which starts at 10:53..
I played it a lot too. And that part's one of my favorites :) I used to think it was the outdoor theme.
What’s pretty ironic is that Fatty Bear’s Birthday Surprise came out on the same year you said when you were born!
1:02 the rendition of Theme 9 is nothing short of amazing! My favorite track in the game, and the enhancement does it so much justice - the perfect mix of confident, mysterious, and sad! :D
Such nostalgia! So fun! Thank you!
My daughter loves the game and I love the game's music composed by Tom McMail
(except for some spooky parts). In this enhanced version it sounds even better than in the original game. Thanks.

(I mostly made this for my own benefit, since I'm working on remapping the raw ripped midis to use their proper instruments)
Keep me posted!
How do you make the Humongous Fan Music Tracks Enhanced in Garage Band from Putt Putt Travels Through Time.
13:30 telephones. LOL
There's a lot work to do before Kayla wakes up! I want to make her big beautiful birthday cake! Oh will she ever be surprised!
If I had to pick a favorite, I’d pick 10:53
I call it the "Night Quest" theme.
10:52
This is actually what you get on the Windows SW Wavetable Synth as well. In all honesty I prefer the OPL3 soundtrack.
reverb was added yep
But does Fatty Bear run on MS-DOS FAT?
Excuse me, but what options are there for a Linux user with ScummVM to get similar results to this?
Also, can you use this set-up with Putt-Putt Joins the Parade and get "enhanced" sound?
Could I have a download link for the individual tracks? I like this version very much and I can't find a file for it.
Time stamps?
The only thing that drives me nuts in the general midi soundtrack is the use of the shamisen instrument in the opening theme. I don't know why, but it sounds out of place with the rest of the soundtrack.
That's because you're racist.
@@foresttemple2393 lmfao
13:10 does NOT belong in Fatty Bear. It sounds like something out of a horror game. The rest was brilliant though.
It is from the game, but it just sounds weird.
Jon Luc I am currently working on another midi file of that one.
My midi file is complete.
Could you post the file somewhere? I'd like to listen to it.
The original version of that theme is all right, it just sounds kind of mysterious. The MIDI instruments just ruined it, especially with that telephone noise and the horror church piano background.
