Everyone is complaining about how many plugins are being used, but this isn't a tracking mix, this is a final mix and if you try this out your self you'll see it's worth all the plugins they all do tiny adjustments but there all for a reason, it's like painting a wall a lot of thin coats add up to a even painted wall.
I concur. However, if everyone is using a few plugins for vocal mixing, how can you impart your own unique touch? I even recommend changing them every 7 or 8 projects to explore various sonic characteristics.
Can't speak for Bainz here, but I know Teezio goes for 3 to max 5db of GR when recording Chris. Since he and Bainz are close, I bet it's not very different for him. I know that Jaycen Joshua for example prefers no compression at all when receiving vocals, but he likes the coloration of the CL1B (although if I remember correctly, he prefers no compression because too many people fuck it up while tracking and since it's printed, there's no way to undo it)
Just a couple of dB (1 to 4) to add some coloration and control the dynamics. Keep in mind that these numbers may vary on different songs, so if you add more compression but it sounds good, keep it.
Every step this engineer took was to solve problems. Every vocal and performance will have different problems. So unless you understand the thought process behind when why and how each step was taken this video is pointless. Throwing all these plugs on every vocal expecting similar results is like cooking chicken , shrimp , and steak with the exact same temp, cook time , marinate and spices. Wats good for steak isnt god for shrimp. Likewise wats good for thugs voice isn’t gonna work for berry white
while it’s true that every vocal is unique and may require specific adjustments, the techniques demonstrated in the video provide a foundational framework that can be adapted to various situations. Much like the basic principles of cooking-such as seasoning and temperature control-these steps serve as a starting point. In practice, you'll often find that applying similar techniques, with adjustments as needed, can effectively address common issues across different vocal types. The goal is to understand the underlying processes so you can modify them to suit each specific case, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all solution.
I understand that some of you have a concern about using too many plugins, and I can empathize with that. However, if everyone takes a similar approach, there’s no room for creativity and developing a unique signature style. I firmly believe that using different plugins based on your creative vision can lead to a more innovative and personalized approach to mixing.
It's not joke.that's the exact chain he used. while using too many plugins can be overwhelming, Your signature sound shines through your plugin choices and mixing approach. Embrace experimentation and let your vision guide your plugin selection.
Naaaah bhahahaha give me thug's vox and give me 30 fucking minutes max and i get 100 times better mix and master out of it bahahah, challenge accepted?

How many DB’s of compression on the cl1b during the recording process ?

I feel its like too much plugins I think you can have good quality with less plugins!😅
Yeah it seems too much.
Why does that look like an old Drake and a young Tyler The Creator in the thumbnail 😂
Clever point 😂😂

Pc break down if you try this
😂😂
I believe he had the speedrun music in the background and the matrix wallpapers when he did this mix😂😂😂
😂😂
you doing too much
“Most trending mix engineers” highly disrespectful.
Why "One of the most trending" is HIGHLY disrespectful?
This is way too much work totally unnecessary. Next they gonna say load all of UA plugins ridiculous 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔.
