Bainz is one of the hottest sound engineers in hip-hop today. While visiting Sweetwater campus to teach a masterclass in mixing, Bainz sat down for an interview with our own Mitch Gallagher. Bainz shares his fascinating life story which includes chapters in India, Australia, and the United States, all while pursuing a career in audio. Hazelrigg VLC-1 Tube preamp/eq. Looks like there’s 2 behind him. Believe he’s saying he replaced his 1073/dbx902 chain with this
The Hazelrigg Industries VLC is an all tube mic pre/DI/Line processor EQ and the Hazelrigg Industries VNE is their all tube compressor. Both are incredible hand built pieces.
