I wash mine with a silicon brush cleanser tool and baby shampoo, works great and it’s pretty cheap compared to brush soaps. Then I lay them on a towel separately to dry. Takes about one day. Always worked great for me!

You should get the mac brush cleaner it is amazing you just have to put all your brushes in a cup and pour in the cleaner it takes 10 minutes and then rinse the brushes. I hope this helps

from someone with hormonal acne, a host of lifestyle changes I maintain like eating well, exercising, sleeping enough, avoiding dairy and sugar and etc etc etc,, on $100 prescription but still has severe hormonal cystic acne -- I wish I could solve this problem with a simple brush washing routine. You are more blessed than you realize 😢
Makeup artist here, buy isopropyl alcohol, soak them for 1 minute in a glass and clean them on either paper towels or normal towel that will forever be stained. Isopropyl alcohol leaves no residue and disinfects, gets EVERYTHING out. Soap will damage your brushes, look at brush cleaners ingredients, they have isopropyl alcohol, you don’t need the other stuff. First time I did this sooo much came out of my “clean” brushes and it dries super fast

10 year beauty advisor here. Is all in the soap you use. Do not use something that is creating to much foam. I use baby shampoo
For all my cheap babes... Equal parts dish soap and vegetable/canola/olive/coconut oil will clean your brushes ✨
