Mostly accurate but you do get basic autopilot standard which is good enough. And standard range Teslas use LFP batteries with no cobalt.

That's generally going to be an issue with EVs for automotive channels : what can you really do with them? They are basically like appliances : you buy them and drive them as they are until they wear out and any performance modifications are locked behind a paywall.
That's not the case with Aptera, if they hopefully gets to mass production.

I'd agree with you if other car makers also reduce the price back to pre-pandemic prices (looking at rivian...). I bought a model Y last week because it is the only decent EV or PHEV that I can find without waiting for 2 years or paying $20k extra to those shady dealers.

You’re not wrong in a lot of ways. For me being a tuner and perform e guy that literally mod’s everything the only interesting Tesla models currently available are Model S Plaid and X Plaid. Full stop. Everything else I would sooner do ICE. Also, the new heat pumps (on all models) seems to have really improved the cold weather battery degradation.

The price of the model Y is basically where it was pre-pandemic. There's very few things you can get at the same price as a few years ago, I'd call it a good deal

At the end of the video, its actually a lack of awareness. The truth is that people do actually care and its not fake care. Its just that the world is so complicated that not everyone has the bandwidth to care about every issue. Rich cares about right to repair, and its a valid issue, but the other issues are valid too, he just happens to not care about them.
Instead of tearing down other peoples issues people should strive to try to if not gaining awareness of them, at least not tearing them down.
What I have learned about tesla. You don't own a tesla, tesla owns you. If the company takes away" anything" from the car when it changes hands in the secondary used market. That's way to much power for a company to have. Elon M is showing his real colors with his megalomania for all he touches. The biggest problem was falling asleep at the wheel no pun intended, thinking that the other car manufacturers would not take away much from tesla when it came to sales. I love the lucid cars as well as the BMW , Audi and Porches line ups. He should have updated the looks of the existing line ups.
I bought a Model 3 Performance when the price dropped because I'm happy with a car that's just 'ok'. The 2/10s need love too.
I am going to keep on buying used older cars and restoring them to my standards in my liking and enjoying them. No electric cars for me.
As tempting as it is to buy a Tesla new or used... it's too hard to part with my lovely ICE cars. I have three from 15 years old to 51 years old. 2 with 3 pedals. Unfortunately I have no talent for Restorations and mods.

Were picking up a tesla y soon, because we spend $500+ a month in gas and its the cheapest EV because of tax credit, which is weird. Hope it works out.
Something interesting about tesla, is if you buy the poor person, RWD model like me you get 260 miles of range out of a lithium iron phosphate battery that you can charge to 100%. If you get the long range model though, you can get 330 miles out of a LiION that you can use only charge to 85% and get basically the same range for only $8k more

well, I live in Australia - a fill up in my Ute costs around $130 AUD for 430 miles (or 700km, whichever is greater)... A Electric truck with 400 miles range and a 5 minute refill time - is Unobtainable (love nor money). I should be on track to spending a finite amount on fuel over the next 10-20 years - at 3-4 k per year (max) saves depreciation on the high price unobtanium over the next decade. Will look forward to seeing what is on the market some time in the 2030s...
