Looking forward to the next one
I agree about the burrito, I always assumed people get that to eat separate ingredients lol. I get the bowl and shake that thing up, so you can eat like nachos
Chipotle and Moe's burritos are best consumed as a bowl where you want the extra wet tortilla for calories/filling feeling to stretch the meal out to two. Hear me out. Tear the top off, top off with hot sauce, mix everything up, eat it with chips, save what's left for dinner.
I’ve never understood people who eat super fat burritos. I was happy to see his dad point out the issue. I think some people just don’t have common sense when they eat. Or they don’t notice much differences when tasting food.
@@BbGun-lw5vi Sometimes I get the extra fat ones because I'm starving hungry. @@mitchg93 Yeah, I just take several small bites across the cross-section to get a little bit of everything. To me the burrito is a nice package, and if you eat it that way + the nice package factor makes it better than the bow (for me). You actually get more with a bowl though, so I get a bowl when I have time to sit down, and save any extra for later.

Great call out on the Chipotle burrito. Maybe that's why I always order the bowl; so I can mix and build my bites. Maybe the burrito needs a 'mixed' option, where they mix it all up before they wrap it. Free advice Chipotle...you're welcome!
You can get it mixed. I just expect that everyone kinda groans and rolls their eyes. The tacos are also a good choice for a balanced flavor(in my experience).
This is a great series, I'm interested in seeing him try raisin canes, in &out, zaxbys, Culver's. Dairy queen, sonic, Arby's, Jack in the box. would probably get a b rating or less, but would still be interesting to see his opinion. It's good that you try to buy the most popular item, because each different place has a good one, and a bad one. I don't really consider domino's, pizza hut or McAlister fast food, but little Caesars forsure cause the drive through moves faster than the other two pizza places
I was going to say that all Subway sandwiches taste the same, but I'll have to pick my toppings like my favourite chef did 😊 If you're lucky enough to visit Susur Lee's restaurant in Toronto, I know you'll be in for a treat. I went to his restaurant when it first opened; I always had 2 chefs in mind whose food I wanted to try and Susur Lee's food didn't disappoint. Years later I finally got to try the other chef's restaurant and I was underwhelmed. I think her original restaurant is now closed and she has one at Pearson international airport which says it all. Iron Chef Lee for the win. S tier 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Edit: it wasn't fair naming the 2nd chef by name so I edited it
I've never quite understood the Subway hate, although I understand part of it is that both the ingredient quality and business practices can be sketchier in the US than here in Canada... I figured out a couple of combos that really work well for me (love those banana peppers) and it's always been my favorite fast food as a result.
@@Strait_Raider I'm not american and never try subway before. But the way i see it is that subway is just dishonest about their products. They are not as healthy as they claimed
I really like that you do this with your dad. It is more impressive because he is an Iron Chef, but I just like seeing you guys becoming cooler through food.
Finally, that's what ive been saying about chipotle burritos forever. If you get a bowl, problem solved. But as a burrito, nothing is mixed so its one bite of entirely sour cream or entirely cheese lol
Chipotle bowls let you mix all the ingredients much more easily. Plus with the quantity and all the "hacks" you can apply (E.g. Free extra lettuce on the side), you get two portions of food.
Well he said the exact same thing that I hate about Chipotle. I don't really want the ingredients mixed up into a jambalay, but as a cook and a burrito enthusiast myself, I would want a wrapped up a little longer than fatter. Defeats the purpose of a burrito. For people who have got tired of Chipotle, give Freebirds a shot. Worth it.
These videos are always fun to watch because each fast food location seems to have different quality standards even if it’s from the same chain. You never know which is going to win
If he likes Subway then he has to try Harvey's which is my favourite, if he says he likes to pick his own ingredients 😂 He also needs to try Firehouse subs which is way better especially their phillycheesesteak
Popeyes really is one of those spots where they are super inconsistent. I've got one local to me and its never given me a bad order but have gone out of town and stopped by others and have been regularly let down.
@@TurtletheShellMeh, there use to be a good KFC near where my grandmother lived. Never had bad food from them but never had a great experience at one anywhere else.
Can I suggest a new video series? How about Iron Chef Dad takes over a few different food trucks and makes something in their truck using their ingredients they have on a daily basis. These two need to do a travel show together. Seriously. I'll produce it.
His dad’s the star he could do it alone
I love these videos and all ur other ones. Must be so cool to have such an awesome dad.
This is just fantastic! You guys are so cool together as father and son! Just hilarious at times and also very interesting! Keep rocking on my Canadian brothers
The two of you are adorable!
Would love to see him rate Mary Browns Chicken. My personal favourite fried chicken and it's Canadian
Thankyou Jet and Sursur for putting together another great video. He hates greasy food, I actually like popeyes.
I loved his random selection at Subway 😂
Also, i can't believe he doesn't like donuts 😲
Nova tif ication Bell 🤣🤣
You guys are hilarious!! Thanks
Love your content. it's always so wholesome and makes me hungry >.
If anything is Iron Chef, it's spitting something out and still giving it B tier. Haha, so good. Thanks for the content!
You should make a poll for subway ingredients then have your dad make it gourmet 😂. I love these videos! These videos honestly helped me develop my relationship with my own father! hope to go and support your father’s restaurant one day!
Omg I love your relationship! Your dad is so funny!
thanks for giving us a part 2!!
I've watched Iron Chef my whole life with my dad, he's gone now, so seeing this makes me feel a bit closer to him.
Great call out on the Chipotle burrito. Maybe that's why I always order the bowl; so I can mix and build my bites. Maybe the burrito needs a 'mixed' option, where they mix it all up before they wrap it. Free advice Chipotle...you're welcome!
they already have that option
You can get it mixed. I just expect that everyone kinda groans and rolls their eyes. The tacos are also a good choice for a balanced flavor(in my experience).
G-wagon rumble is such a great background alongside with chill music) Great to see you guys having a good dad-son time
Used to watch your Dad on Iron Chef, keep up the good work. Very likeable man your Dad is🇨🇦
This is a great series, I'm interested in seeing him try raisin canes, in &out, zaxbys, Culver's.
I was going to say that all Subway sandwiches taste the same, but I'll have to pick my toppings like my favourite chef did 😊
If you're lucky enough to visit Susur Lee's restaurant in Toronto, I know you'll be in for a treat.
S tier 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Edit: it wasn't fair naming the 2nd chef by name so I edited it
I've never quite understood the Subway hate, although I understand part of it is that both the ingredient quality and business practices can be sketchier in the US than here in Canada... I figured out a couple of combos that really work well for me (love those banana peppers) and it's always been my favorite fast food as a result.
Susur Lee has LEE Kitchen at Pearson. Massimo Capra and Roger Mooking also have restaurants there. So...
@@Strait_RaiderI find that their ingredients are just very bland. I was surprised Lee liked it so much.
@@Strait_Raider I'm not american and never try subway before. But the way i see it is that subway is just dishonest about their products. They are not as healthy as they claimed
@@Strait_RaiderSubway is the McDonald's of fast food chains. Jersey Mike's reigns superior.
*Sub chains
I really like that you do this with your dad. It is more impressive because he is an Iron Chef, but I just like seeing you guys becoming cooler through food.
Watched part 1. First video I’ve seen. Watching this part now. They rock. It is fantastic.
Finally, that's what ive been saying about chipotle burritos forever. If you get a bowl, problem solved. But as a burrito, nothing is mixed so its one bite of entirely sour cream or entirely cheese lol
you can just ask them to mix the burrito before wrapping...i do it all the time.
When you add subtitles for your dad talking, I'm pretty sure my neighbors can hear me laughing.
Y'all are so adorable!
Always such wholesome videos
If I'm Subway, effective immediately the "Iron Chef Mozzarella Turkey" hits the Menu Board!
Chipotle bowls let you mix all the ingredients much more easily. Plus with the quantity and all the "hacks" you can apply (E.g. Free extra lettuce on the side), you get two portions of food.
I love this serious. Keep it up
Love that dad tears open the bags. No time to unroll and reach in. He's the best!
Worth it.
Chipotle’s spicy tomato salsa is awesome.
Of course Subway would be amazing for him, since he can choose the things he knows are good, and ignore the crappy stuff
these videos are spectacular guys!
I love this. I can tell the dad isn't crazy about trying all these fast food outlets BUT its all about spending time with his son.
Thank You Iron Chef Dad, & Son I really enjoyed this vlog. 💙⚘🙏🥰
lol just randomly stumbled across these videos in my feed today. loved both of them and just subscribed in the hopes to see more! :)
Popeyes really is one of those spots where they are super inconsistent. I've got one local to me and its never given me a bad order but have gone out of town and stopped by others and have been regularly let down.
True, but when it's good it's way better than KFC, which is usually super dry and inedible (regardless of which one you go to).
@@TurtletheShellMeh, there use to be a good KFC near where my grandmother lived. Never had bad food from them but never had a great experience at one anywhere else.
7:50 the dog got banished to the backrooms 💀
lmao poor dog
Love it , waiting for part 3😊
Looking forward to a part 3!
Can I suggest a new video series? How about Iron Chef Dad takes over a few different food trucks and makes something in their truck using their ingredients they have on a daily basis. We the people would benefit from these new specials on the menu that the owners probably would have never thought of.
This is a great idea. But it’d be nice if he doesn’t go too Iron Chef with it. Just interesting flavors by mixing things up.
Gonna try that Subway combo...
love you guys!
We all need an Iron Chef Dad, he's just too adorable 🤗
Ironically I bet those chipotle guys were trying to hook them up with extra ingredients because they recognized them but it made him like it less
Bruh, this dude spit out Popeyes and STILL rates it higher than McDees and TBell 😂😂😂. That Popeyes sammich is 🤌🏿🤌🏿🤌🏿🤌🏿. Easily my favorite fast food chicken sammy
He acknowledged the taste is good but probably too unhealthy for him with the grease
Too greasy
I was fucking dying. Hes so funny
I enjoyed this and you and your dad’s relationship very cool
I like this video. Looking forward to watching Part 3
I like how the dad is so humble. I can imagine a lot of renowned chefs would turn their nose up to ALL of these restaurants. But not iron chef dad. He tries it and gives an honest review.
This man trolling his dad will never get old 😭😭
rizz. "Ah yes, rizz for example" lol
Thank You Jetbentlee 💙⚘🙏🥰Very Creative
Father and son spending time together can’t beat that.
Watched Part 1, now this one! Great to listen to his perspective. Would be interested to know if you all have Raising Canes, Inn Out, Xaxby’s, etc.
Would also be interested in knowing how he compares Subway to Jimmy John’s, Firehouse, Jersey Mikes, Which Wich, etc. that would be a cool comparison video too!
Anyways, thanks for the content! Great stuff!!!
You guys are awesome!
This two part series was very fun to watch!
The way he says " son" is so heartwarming and wholesome
