The updated KTM chassis with the 2-stroke engines don't seem to get many comments about the chassis being too stiff.

@@nightrider4370 Yes the 2023 and 2024 chassis on the SX/XC models is same as the 250350/450SXF's and those models had a lot of comments about the chassis being too stiff. Then KTM made it more compliant on the 2024.5 KTM 250/450 Factory Editions....and this new chassis appears on the 2025 SXF/SX/XC models

@@nightrider4370 Yes - though the 23/24 KTM 300 SX/XC models came with the updated chassis (same as the 23 250/350/450SXF models). The chassis was noted as stiffer in most magazine tests than previous generation

Dialed TBI or dialed carb with the previous gen chassis, which would you choose? Buy a 2019 carby for 5-6k and put 5-6k into it. Then you’re at a new 300 out the door 😳

2019 carb 300 is fast and fun (best with Keihin carb for me). The latest TBI 300 SX/XC models are seriously fast (MXA says 55hp at the rear wheel) and the electronic power valve helps the engine make impressive partial throttle torque. The TBI engines have more sensors that can cause issues and fail. Do you like new tech or do you prefer more simple? I own both a 24 Beta 300 Race Edition (super simple tech that runs amazingly clean) and a 23 TX300 that is super fast and smooth. I think there are some rebates/discounts now on 24 Austrian bikes so you may be able to get a current model for a pretty good deal.
