This fix also worked for 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium. Mine came with this turned off and was able to turn it on without taking it to the dealership. Thanks for the video.
Gary, your the best. my 2013 rav4 was in for oil change and backdoor worked fine. Came home and it opened, but I had to clean and jerk it wide open. Your video on 2016 and newer Rav4's you mentioned that power button. Bingo thanks.🤜🤛🏻

But we did not contact Toyota when we could not get it to open because we figured we were doing something wrong, which we were. We just didn't know! Btw, the instructions were exact same for 21 model.
I was wondering the same until I learned that the LE doesn't have this option. The salesperson didn't share this information with me. Also, I was looking everywhere in my vehicle for a push button to open the trunk from inside the vehicle.
