For as long as that property has been for sale and all the restrictions I would not walk away I would run they have to be a better piece property out there
They were advertising Valle del Sol for sale about 15 years or more ago on one of Albuquerque's most popular radio stations. In New Mexico water is ALWAYS the most critical resource!
And not allowed to use the water or sewer hook up if it's for recreational use. Can't seem to wrap my head around that at all. I'm sure it's on a meter and they'd get paid for usage.
That’s a beautiful piece of property Rusty.👍 Ideal for enjoying solitude. It looks calm, peaceful, serene and tranquil. By the way, sitting alone and enjoying your own company is better than being surrounded by fake people. Good investment Rusty. Stay healthy and enjoy.👍
Rusty, I have been a follower for a few years and enjoy your posts. Quite awhile ago you posted a couple of videos showing the stretches you did each day and I found them very helpful. Then I stopped doing them due to an Injury. But now i have not able to locste them. Could you please help me to find them again? They made a huge change in my mobility. Thank you for you kind consideration,
Too many CCNRs or HOA rules for my taste. They should let you do whatever you want with your land in such a out in the middle of nowhere piece of land.
I wonder if Billy the Kid ever wandered around that part of New Mexico Rusty? I bet that place has some kind of history around there. I really love New Mexico.
@@rusty78609 Oh yea.... I remember you saying there were some really weird rules for housing out there..... that's really too bad. What a perfect place!!!
I am confused. I just saw a video from 2 years ago where it looked like you were boondocking on the same piece of property in a Class c motorhome. Have you owned this property before?
Didn’t you show this place not too long ago (when you had the C class?). You have a very nice view, good luck situating your place to take max advantage. Happy Trails 🖖🏼🚚
Rusty. Have you considered a pull behind camper trailer? Could you pull with your van? Will they allow you to connect electric and water to an rv? Then 3 months a year go camp somewhere else. Either winter or summer, whichever season is the worst there temperature wise.
Hey Rusty could you point someone in the right direction for someone else interested in an acre of land or equivalent in that area or in Capitan your friend's out law camp is outstanding I'm interested
Will they let you build a new garage with a bathroom in it,? That might be a cheaper way to go, than a new doublewide. You can build a newer garage, add a bathroom in it, and then park a travel trailer in it, and call it good.
Does anybody know if there's a way to change back to the old UA-cam layout on a computer, where the comments are directly underneath the video and the suggested videos are on the right side of the page? As of today, UA-cam completely changed the layout and it's not good to say the least.
@@lolol180 Video screen is already on default. It's the entire page that's completely different with the recommended videos directly underneath the main video and all the comments on the right hand side. It's exactly opposite to the way it's been for years. Just started this morning.

If I bought out there what I would do is put up a coyote fence with the tall poles. Very New Mexico and an excellent wind break. The sound of the wind on your video reminds me of my time spent in the Texas Panhandle. Something I got used to but never cared for. Love the mountain backdrop. On cloudy days the mountains have a different mood to them. But your property reminds me of why I didn't buy on Terlingua Ranch. Too far away from everything needed. Why would anyone want to live in such a desolate place? I think Rusty has lost it.
Maybe he enjoys peace, quite and solitude 😊
The desert is beautiful. Not desolate. It's not the beach or a forest -but still beautiful in it's own way
Not going to lie, that's a pretty rough looking patch of land. I can see why it sat unsold for so long, but to each his own.
There's actually a lot of lots out there that are for sale cheap.

Yes I remember this place!
I love those flowers on the cactus and the mountain views❤ very nice
Oh my goodness Rusty! You certainly love the real estate business! Your Alamogordo place seemed perfect!
it is
Looks like total desolation and abandonment. Sad.
Your son needs to do a welfare check on you. I think you finally went over the edge.
That cactus reminds me of good Ol Thorny, probably related. Back on the meds 👍👍
I understand looking at that landscape. It's peace.
Just need some old tires and aluminum cans. That is how they do it in New Mexico.
old used toilets and sometimes a bathtub
Maybe an old used washer and dryer , throw in an old fridge
Where The Deer and The Antelope Play. 👍👍
I seem to remember the song different. I thought it was "where the deer and the antelope roam".
Beautiful scenery with that view..
I like those mountains in the background.

A carport in front of the garage would work well

Where does Amy get water ?
Rusty you could just buy you another one of those large rv carports and set it over that slab, that's a start.
I love the view! Why not put up a metal RV port and just live in the RV?
can't do that
