yewwwww ripping!
Thanks bro
Back in the early 1970's we used to surf there ,and camp right where that big hotel is standing. We'd make that our stop for the night before heading to much better ,and warmer spots south of there. We got arrested by the federales one morning after surfing,as they had planted mary j in our vw bug after a search. We bribed them and continued on our way. I always said ,if anything is going to happen, it going to happen in Mexico.
Classic 👍
for some reason surfline always says k38 is better than it actually is
Las Rocas! Hahah that place has seen better days 😅
Yeah I sure hope so. Lol 😂
ripping 🤙🏽🔨🔨
Thanks dude
Nice ride
high on life 😄
Lucky you and that hippie didn't get thrown in jail.
Awesome videos man !
Thanks bro 🤙
Awesome video👍
Thank you! Cheers!
More like 2-3 foot! Maybe 4 foot at Gaviotas but at least your on it. Was that Roberts Hotel u were staying at? When i would stay there without getting a unit at Gaviotas he would take us into his second story casa and we would watch his TV and sip Don Julio until sunrise and he is a good man but the place is a little sketchy these days and some good trips down there when the northwest swells sweep thru from November to May.
Nice, definitely going to check out gaviotas next time
So 6-8 for you is actually shoulder high?
Hey dude I think your channel is rad, I like the videos but I would like to respectfully ask you to be discreet to Monterey County surfing. Monterey county is one of the most beautiful places in the state and yes there are fun waves which you can get uncrowded because people don’t blow up spots on UA-cam. We ask that you keep it off UA-cam so that you and others can come and enjoy the beauty and still get waves uncrowded because when you make videos you make it more crowded. Carmel and sand dollar are fun waves, rarely are any of our waves that good but the reason you don’t see any of the local talent posting videos is because they don’t want to blow up their spots, so it’s a bummer when somebody from somewhere else does. We don’t mind you coming and surfing but posting videos of our spots is lame because we don’t even do it. And I’m sure everywhere has their spots too, I see you live in Santa Barbara and I’m sure there’s some sick spots that you and your friends don’t post videos of. This is like all of Monterey to Monterey surfers, and yes there are pro surfers here the talent runs deep. Thank you and I welcome you and all others but I speak for all locals when I say I do not welcome posting videos of our spots on the internet. Respect -Stewart King
Hey Stewart , thanks for watching. I’m glad you enjoy the content. Being from Santa Barbara I understand the frustration of people overcrowding your local spots. Every time we we get a good swell (which is only a few times a year) it gets blown up by Surfline and becomes so crowded that it’s almost unenjoyable. Therefore I only post videos of spots that Surfline has already ruined for us all. I will respect your wishes though 🤙
hey looks super fun. what day was this?
July 7th 🤙
lucky sand had been pushed up from "river" to the point; it's usually all rocks...
There was still a lot of rocks 😂 fun though
yeah, saw you found one at Teresa's that last morning...
@@LorenBird
I also found a huge rock 🪨 and got rolled over it a few times 😬
Be careful you’re surfing in poopy wata
Oh yeah that river water looked gnarly
Misspelled 2-3'
Just going off what Surfline said it was. Mostly 4 foot sets and I may have seen a 5 footer but it was not a good wave just a mushy foam burger that rolled through 😂
Man what I wouldn’t give for just one of those rights! I haven’t done a turn in weeks! Last day looked sketchy af sharkey, shallow, grey and misty haha 🫣
Oh man, I feel ya. It’s been so bad in my area lately that I’ve had to do some traveling.
Yeah that was a weird last session definitely not the sketchiest though 😝
