Love this! I suffer from panic attacks and cardiophobia (fear my heart and left side of my chest). My yoga teacher showed me this sound combined with a yoga move to where I connect with my chest area and do heart breathing. ❤️ Feels good to stretch all that stored trauma out in the left side of my chest & connect with my own self & love myself.
HI, thanks for sharing what you're going through. I'm so glad that my music helps. It means so much to me. I hope that, with all that you are doing, things improve and that lasting healing is possible. Wishing you all the very best. Alistair
This is perfect! I have a chronic illness and use this video several times a day. It makes me feel so much better and helps me to get through the day. A real life saver for me! The melody is beautiful and I love the ferns and ocean sounds. Thank you so much! 💚
Hi, I’m so sorry to hear about your illness. That’s wonderful that this video is helpful. It makes making these tracks worth it. Thanks for your comment and I wish you well from the bottom of my heart. Alistair
Thank YOU for this amazing gift! I have shared with so many friends having practised many breath meditations and this is my daily go-to that brings instant calm! The vibrant green of nature morphing into the sea ~ I miss both stuck in the hospital and this takes me there! 💞
Hi, thinking of you in hospital! I hope things improve for you soon. Thanks for sharing. Please be aware that UA-cam have inserted ads in the middle of some of my music tracks. I have no control over it and I am working to rectify this. Warmest wishes.
This is excellent. I use it for both coherent breathing and box breathing, it’s great for both and these are two techniques that are helping me recover from long covid. Thanks so much!
Hi, thanks! I'd love to hear how you use it for box breathing? It's great to hear that these breathing practices are helping with long Covid. I will pass that on. Thanks again.
I shared it with our daily mindfulness club community and the members loved it. A great way to mindfully meditate and enjoy some better HRV too. Thanks for creating it, Alistair :) Shamash
Hi Shamash, thanks very much for your comment and for sharing. I'm very happy it's useful. I will reply to your email when I'm back from Wales. All the best, Alistair
Thank you for this beautiful music - it is my favorite that really helps me settle into coherent breathing. Is this track available on for purchase/download?
Hi! Thanks so much, I’m very happy it works for you. This track and others will be available from Bandcamp in the next couple of weeks. I will post when it is released. Thanks again 😊
@@soundcoherence - So happy to hear! Yes - please let me know. Thank you for your beautiful work. Your music is lovely & natural to follow and easy to return to when my mind drifts off.
Hi Kim. Do you mean how do you achieve 5.5 breaths per minute? Just follow the strings (count of 4) for the inhale, and the piano / guitar (count of 4) for the exhale. I try to use different musical sounds and gestures that act like prompts so you don't have to count. There are no visual cues to the breathing rate in my videos - I don't know how to do that yet. I prefer to just use sound so you can close your eyes and enjoy the breathing. I find that the works best for me. Good luck with your breathing practice.
@@soundcoherence I guess I was not picking up on the beats. I am a little hard of hearing. I will try again. I guess one I had before had like a slight gong sound, so I could get in rhythm. I really want to try! Thank you.

Good morning 🌅 I’m very happy you find it calming 🙏
I just tried combining it with Qigong movements and then found my blood oxygen level went up to 99% according to my apple watch! Amazing :)
That's a great idea! Thanks for that.
Cant havr gone up that much considering its always around 97-99% in most people.

@@abbyevankow2945 That’s great, thanks for the feedback. Happy breathing
This would probably be better if the adverts didn’t come on in the middle.
Oh no! Do they? They haven't before. I'll look into it. Thanks for flagging that up!
Pretty ferns but how do I rate 5.5 second breaths?
