I bought this for $79 on clearance at Wal-Mart. The first time I used it, it worked great. I got my whole house done in 45 minutes, only having to empty the tank twice. Then I did the self-clean cycle on it, took the brush off, filter out & the tank out to let them air dry for 24 hours. I went back 48 hours later and put everything back in, put more water/Hoover cleaning solution in. I began mopping the kitchen/dining room & went over that pretty good then began on the living room after emptying the tank (got the symbol the tank was full, and it was). I put the tank back in after emptying it. I still had 1/2 container of solution and water since I “deep cleaned” the kitchen/dining room floor. After beginning on the living room, I made one “pass” & then the machine shut off, began flashing “tank full” light & wouldn’t continue mopping. I went in, dried the inside where the tank meets the machine & started it again. Same error message. Then I tried doing a “self clean” cycle. It wouldn’t do that because of the same error message. I have read online and that seems to be a very common issue with this. Hoover needs to do a recall on this & give people their money back. I’m returning my Streamline tomorrow. I hate that it doesn’t work anymore because I was hooked on it from the first minute of use. I love the concept of the mopping & vacuuming, but world-famous Hoover failed at this one. I’m so disappointed now.
@@JustADadYou’re welcome. I love the concept of the Streamline. It just wouldn’t work like it needed to. Hopefully I can find something comparable that works. Love the videos you make. I subscribed the other day!
judging from other comments I've seen on this product, it sounds like Hoover made a cheapo version for Walmart specifically. Every complaint has "$79 from Walmart" in it.
Bought mine in the hoover website. I’ve had it for at least 3 months. Now the Brush roll is not spinning anymore. I keep getting the massage Defective battery since the day i bought it. Not Worth the money. I do love what it does because it saves you time and hard work. But Wouldn’t recommend it for that High price. It drips water a lot too
There are coffee grounds on the floor in the background when you say "it got all of the coffee" haha. Hopefully it's not an issue with crumbs and such. I just got mine today. It was hard to distinguish boost mode because you still have the yellow sticker covering the boost mode light LOL
I appreciate your reviews. I was a little confused at first because at 2:40 you are filling up the tanks with water & solution, but when you start vacuuming 4:18 the tank is empty. After watching the self cleaning I realized the solution tank is in the back and the tank in the front is where the dirty water goes. Is there any bleach in the Hoover solution?
The roller wont spin. Ive had the same issues as everyone else but was ablw to overcome all but this stupid roller not spinning. It spins on self clean but not when i do the floor
The original hard floor Hoover was the machine! It did wonders for my tile floor - but this one…? I don’t like the microfiber roller , it does not hit my tile grout - so it’s only for a specific type of hard floor😏
My machine won't get out of Self Clean Mode can someone please help me. I can't find answers anywhere. I have done everything. Changed roller, changed filter, un- plugged. It will not get out of self clean mode. The machine is useless. Any help is greatly appreciated.
At over $400 ....pass....there are others out there that are cheaper and cordless....I have a Tineco , which works great..solution could be expensive but I did buy Hoovers solution at a decent price
I bought the same Hoover but without the boost. Model FH46010V. I paid only $200 at Walmart, not including tax. I think it's a good buy given that it won't need a battery change like most cordless models.

Thanks for the update! I hope all goes well with your return.

Yeah but that’s a cheap version. So I just bought the $239 version at Home Depot and this comment gives me hope lol
I would love a Bissell Crosswave comparison.
Another great video! Looking forward to the shark review.
Yes , Shark will be a good alternative

I really wanted to see how well it cleaned the edge.
Thank you! I just ordered one!
Please what do you advise me about this or tineco?
The empty tank light keeps coming on. I have cleaned it all. What else can I do?
how do I remove the handle as I am returning it. It's not what I expected and the self cleaning system doesn't work
Can you vaccum on carpets with this?
can you use it on rugs also? please let me know
a little if the rug has short fibers but it will be we when you move it away

How long is the cord?
Great review
I was gonna buy this but I don't like that you have to hold the solution button down
Yep I think there are better
Does it vacuum and clean the dog hair of the roller

The PowerDash or the SpinScrub?
Favorite wet dry vacuum?

I bought this one like a week ago or so at under $90 🤣 I was in this deal group and somehow they had it that low (sold and shipped by Walmart)
$400? That’s how much the Tineco cost. Hoover is well under $200 and has quality parts.
