    Sumimasen. Why did you speak "...nan desu ga?" instead of "...nan desu ka?"
    Can "G"sound be used instead of "K"sound?
    Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu

    • @JapaneseLanguageCulture
      @JapaneseLanguageCulture  7 років тому +2

      HI, do you hear so? I think I said "nan desu ka?" it's "ka" at the end of the sentence with rising intonation for question.

    _Sumimasen, blablabla wa nihongo de nandesuka_
    No really, what is the japanese equivalent of "blablabla"?
    Cheers (banzai!?) from Brazil!

    • @JapaneseLanguageCulture
      @JapaneseLanguageCulture  5 років тому

      I think "blah blah" is English. It will be replaced by some words or sentences. Japanese often say "ほにゃらら” for blah blah...
      We don't say "banzai" for cheers.

    私は=I'm Right?

    • @JapaneseLanguageCulture
      @JapaneseLanguageCulture  7 років тому +1

      it depends the context, used in what kind of phrases. e.g. I eat fish. = Watashi wa sakana o tabemasu. -> In this case, "watashi wa" is not "I'm" right? That's why I explained so in the video.

      Lee Christopher A helpful way to think of 私は can be to think of it as 'As for me...' since wa sort of sets up a topic for the sentence, just as the phrase 'As for...' does in English.
