Idk if you can do this on Java but whenever I get cobwebs I put them into a crafting table and they give 9 string each instead of having to break them. But that's on bedrock not sure about Java.

Honestly I think playing mod packs like this is better in regular Minecraft than hardcore. It gives you more freedom to play around and explore without the constant looming fear of death over your head

My favorite part out of this entire movie was at 1:29:20 when he felt like a god for being able to kill the deer first try and avenging his first world, but mainly how he yelled in lower case.
I think I would actually prefer that you play most worlds in regular. Hardcore doesn't really add that much to the playthroughs imo. For easier stuff sure hardcore adds a cool dimension to the challenge, but for stuff like this it's not as important. Especially since dying means resetting and we get to see less of the mods contents
Absolutely 100% agree! Last thing we want is another scared (un)lucky block penguinloot goblin. A survival challenge series with hardcore is one thing where it's the challenge to stay alive that long, experiencing unique modpacks to enjoy the content (and us too) is another.

I think it would be cool to see you make a build using only materials that aren’t found in vanilla. Your builds are awesome, but it would be cool to see you use a pallet of blocks outside of the standard oak/stone/leaves combo.
make a zoo possibly? due 2 you being able to pick up mobs it would be a fun project
Andrea’s last march up Skye’s stairs was very valiant (and incredibly helpful to keep skye sane)
Personally, I watch these videos for the adventures you go on and the cool builds you make to get inspo for my own worlds. I don't really care if you play these in hardcore or not. If you can do more in regular Minecraft than hardcore then I say go for it :)

Personally, hardcore doesn't matter to me! I watch because I enjoy the longform content, commentary, and adventure. Playing in a way that you find most enjoyable is the most enjoyable is what creates the best content in my opinion :)
Skyes listen this is genius. Turn the bottom of the panda/duck habitat into an aquarium. I promise it would look really good as this mod pack makes the underwater colours seem bright and it would create a great contrast in colours.

Seeing Skyes collecting the blocks of raw copper and ignoring the ones of raw iron was painful (and honestly pretty funny)

Absolutely loved this movie. I watched this thing from start to finish and there weren't really any dull moments. Here's for a part 2!
I watched to from start to finish in one sitting didn't even realize it was almost 3 hours long!
Honestly, I love how far you've come decorating the houses you build. If you watch videos from like 1-2 years ago, hell even a couple months ago, you can see how much you more you start adding different blocks to see how it fits with the aesthetic of the house.
Side note, you asked either in this episode or another I watched, I start and stop watching videos throughout the day, if we watch BECAUSE youre in hardcore or for the journey. I can say for me, its the personality that keeps me, not the title or challenge.
Hi Skyes, great video! I remember from other modpacks that waypoints will teleport with you everything that you have tied with a lead, maybe you can try that in the next episode to make an awesome zoo. Also, I see this modpack has farmer's delight included. If you craft a knife and cut some grass with it, you can make rope and use that to make some leads. It's way more easy than the vanilla recipe, and I've always thought it made much more sense.

I LOVE your videos. I watch them all. I love that yours are long. I hate when people do "100 days" and cut it down to 20 minutes or less. I don't care about hardcore. I hope you turn this into a series.
Just a heads up, in case you didn't know: Better Minecraft has supposedly been infected with a type trojan virus. You might want to check to see if you're infected. Xisumavoid has a video on it if you want more info.

On a more serious note, I agree that you can play this world on normal difficulty, hardcore doesn't add anything to this world.
Yesss, make an area for the ducks and cute water animals like the turtles too under one of the houses you have built especially if you like keeping things condensed ! Your building style is so unique !

I would LOVE to see another video of this!! You should explore the cherry blossom biome, i was thinking something like you making a house for the moo-blooms with cherry wood or the ducks, it would be epic! Love your videos, literally could watch hours at a time!

I'd love to see you potentially try a darker pallet and more interior design, perhaps you could do an underground type area that plays with the darker wood types and try some new building styles?

I don't know if anyone has said this yet but you can give the Allay's something (like emeralds for example) and they will follow you around and pick up more of the same thing you gave them and bring it back to you! they are extremely useful especially when running around and looting places :)

You can heal ‘one heart’ by using a splash potion of instant heal
Here is a few suggestions for your next video in this world .
1. Go to the new dimensions 🗻 in the mod
2. make something like a zoo (with mooblooms , the cute mossy thing and some other cute animals )
3. Make the villagers a house 🏡to live in
4. Decorate the house 🏠( sing the mod )
5. Adding more aquariums🐟 ( side by side , like in a shop )
6. mka e a garden🪻 ( since there is a lot more new plants in the mod )
7. Explore more new places ( new biomes, villages 🏘️, dungeons 🏚️)
8. Trying cooking 🍳& farming 🥬

yo skyes i wanted to leave a tip that i think if you put the animal in a boat with you and take a waystone home you can take the animal home eith you and try to see if you can make some bamboo trapdoors since i think they would look nice in your future builds.
Skyes make sure to get the golden moss, it's good eating. There's even enchanted golden moss.

honestly i have found that playing hardcore in modpacks is extremely stressful because you have to either have intimate knowledge of all the mods involved, be really lucky or just be suuuuuper careful which is not very entertaining or fun. i would say go for just hard survival minecraft when dealing with mods. enjoy the content regardless!

I really enjoyed this video Skyes! I personally would prefer you record without hardcore mode on. I love watching hardcore videos by you but this mod pack has so much to offer I’d love to see it in more depth in a future video.

If nobody said it already, I'll be the one to tell what allays are for. You give the allay an item, like string, and it'll go looking for more of that item. The allay will follow you around and they love music, so you should give them something to do, something like playing a music disc on a music box [I honestly forgot what their called, correct me if needed]. I don't really like allays because they're annoying to me, but they are useful. So, that's basically what allays are used for!
It bothered me that at 1:54:20 Skyes didn't pick up the raw iron (or maybe it was edited out but i didnt see it in his inventory after so idk).

I think playing in regular mode is better, especially when playing moded minecraft hard-core just adds stress and can make the play through short just cause of one slip up. I don't care to play hard-core because you have to be to careful and slow when playing it, I've beat hard-core but I just want to enjoy the game and the mods so I just play regular.

Dude, I really wish to see full time experience. I personally don't care about hardcore (it's honestly just unnecessary flex, as if you trying to prove something to someone.but to whom? Hardcore has been around for so long it just boring at this point) anyway, I would love to see more of this mode, it's lovely

Also for trapdoor building I HIGHLY recommend spruce trapdoors

just letting you know that if the pack uses the continuity mod for the connected textures then it comes with a resourse pack that fixes the lines in the glass panes
if it doesn't, then there might be another way, idk as i only use the continuity mod for my glass textures
