Not too many hidden jewels by CCR on reactor channels I'm afraid. Pendulum has some real beauties. And their first album too. 1st one has that unpolished quality that I love. And Pendulum has a lot of variety: John plays organ, electric piano, saxophone, and adds more soul elements in the songs. These two albums are my favorites by them.
I read somewhere that they rehearsed this one for an hour and then recorded it in one take. If that's true, I don't see how John Fogerty played both rhythm and lead here. It sure sounds like two different guitars to me, so I don't know how he could have played the rhythm also without overdubbing it.
CCR,great band and great music.
John,Stu,Doug and Tom.

One of the best “unknown” songs ever
More than classic, it’s ICONIC electric guitar. Way to call it Chris on “cut loose” coming!
This is their best tune.
My favorite, and that is saying a lot given the strength of their oeuvre.
