Don't know how you don't include the Wizards here. They may have fewer seasons in which they were outright terrible but their fate is even worse: usually mediocre and boring as hell. Since 1980, they have only one season in which they were a top 4 seed in the eastern conference and have never made it past the second round. Their greatest highlights over the past 50 years is an aging Paul Peirce calling game and Gilbert Arenas bringing a gun into the locker room.
Following the Timberwolves through all their losing and terrible moves you learn to appreciate little successes and positive moments whenever you can get them such as this last season. Other teams mentioned here similarly appear to have a bright future ahead of them as well.

In my opinion the best teams on this list that didn't win a championship (except for the Kings) are 2002 Kings, The Lob City Clippers, and the 1990's Knicks.
Taking Bagley over Luca is the one that really hurts, as Bagley sure does have a ceiling that screams middle to late first round based on his roll player stats (I don’t think he is a bust, but he should not have been taken in lottery
It’s ironic because dolan is a pretty great owner for the rangers. Mostly because he doesn’t care about them, gives president GM etc basically full control and he’ll send the money. Sometimes having a fanboy is great (Steve Cohen) sometimes it’s a death sentence (Dan Schneider and James Dolan)
But the Kings didn't do themselves any favors blowing a 24-point lead and losing Game 4 on a Robert Horry game-winning 3 at the buzzer. And Game 7 where they went 2-20 from the 3-point line and 16-31 from the free-throw line.
I am VERY SURPRISED My Atlanta Hawks did not make it to the list lol. Haven't won since 1958, made drafting blunders like crazy and wasted wilkens. I guess the reason we didn't make it was because we reached the playoffs a lot and our recent success.

Born and raised in Charlotte NC, no one could understand the disappointment hearing both our football team & basketball team having the worst records in history during the 2000’s shit hurt my soul 😩🤦🏾♂️
I’m a 16 year old kings fan and I have never seen my team in the playoffs 🥲
That might change this season my man
Bro Chris Paul Is In 2 of those bad teams
And he stayed in these 2 longest, no wonder he hasn't got any ring
Fox really needs a new team
He does, really bad too. He only has about 3 or 4 prime years left.
Fell in love with the Kings since the the 2000's and the team has really been testing my love.....
I kinda like that the kings stay garbage cause you can actually go to the game and get a great seat for a great price. I remember when warrior games were like that too.
At least the Knicks are still relevant because of being associated with NYC
There not tho
Nope. The Nets took a piece of that pie when they moved to Brooklyn. The young ones never seen the Knicks were ever good. They root for the Nets. If ever want to watch the Knicks, I would go to Barclay instead of MSG. Dont wanna give money to Dolan.
@@excalipoor bet you would
Be glad if the knicks were exiled and erased from the league permanently. Because no one wants the knicks to be good
@@SubzerofromNY Just because the team is bad, doesn't mean you want it to be gone. There are many teams that don't do well for decades. They love their team, it's just the personnel in those organizations are not running it right. That's the soul crushing part of it. Everyone has to deal with ups and downs in life, so just focus more on other things. It is what it is.
Fun fact: LeBron saved the Cavs from being on the list😂
*Kyrie
In Sacramento, it's the Rick Adelman curse. Since the Maloofs forced Geoff Petrie to hand Adelman, the most successful coach in the Kings franchise in the Sacramento era, the pink slip after 2006, the Kings have yet to make it back to the playoffs.
missing the playoffs 10 years in a row is pathetic let alone 16 years sacramento kings seem to be in a never ending rebuild
They're called the Kings
But they got no rings
And at the end of the regular season, they always pack their things
A poem by yours truly
And I know they got a ring as the royals, but they don't have one as the "kings"

Grew up in Sac town for my middle school and high school days. Although I'm a dubs fan through and through, I have had a side affection for the king's. I honestly hope they pull through one of these days.
It’s simultaneously unbelievable & very believable why the Hornets are still an average team under MJ’s tutelage… He’ll never get out of his own way & must be an nightmare to be their coaching staff.
I know I thought he’d have the team to the finals by now given he spent a decade with Phil Jackson & has his place in history as Goat² (Goat of Goats)…
Tomberwolves should've signed that dog from AirBud bruh
Gotta feel bad for the Wolves. The two big franchise players in their history won chips…with other teams. And their third won’t win a damn thing while he’s there
Being born and raised in New York, seeing the Knicks suck really hurts my soul.
Kings gonna be kings lmao
Why is that so funny
My cousin still believe that kings could make the playoffs. I said “Not even once!”.

Before I watch, I know damn well my Charlotte Hornets will be on here. Jordan may be the goat as a player but definitely not as an owner. Here's to hoping Ball and Bridges can make this team legit
If you had made this video before 2019, a very good case would have been made to put the Raptors on this list. Masai Ujiri has completely transformed this team.
Swap Washington and Minnesota with Nuggets, Cavaliers and of course Grizzlies. Because of the latter I lost a bet with my brother 😭😭😭😂😂😂
Sac Kings vs. NY Knicks is an NBA Finals you won’t see anytime soon. 🤣🤣🤣

The timberwolves are actually pretty good this year, with the core of KAT and ANT and the defense of vanderbilt, i expect them to make the conf finals in 2023
Average temperature in Toronto is 2 degrees lower than in Minneapolis.
That playoff series loss to LA really screwed Sacramento in the long run. Plus with GSW and both LA teams still popping right now, they're pretty much in dead waters right now unless they some how pick the next LeBron or Kobe

Minnessota and Milwaukee are colder. Chicago is about the same.

@@5starhunter. I live in Toronto. It's not always colder than the 3 places I mentioned. And if it is, it is negligible. However, anywhere else in Canada that isn't BC or Windsor, Ontario, I agree with you.
Toronto a city
To be fair, the Pelicans are still a relatively new franchise. Just give them a bit more time to develop and they will eventually make the cut.
I will not believe that Minnesota is colder than the entire state of Wisconsin
I’m probably one of the biggest kings fans ever i know every stat good or sadly bad, it’s depressing every season lol
They did include the Wizards.
@@leoprince691 Oh my bad, I did not see it when scrubbing
U should do “Best franchise in NBA history” next time👍💪💪
New Orleans’ start wasn’t really surprising at all, since they were already a playoff team when they were in Charlotte
Following the Timberwolves through all their losing and terrible moves you learn to appreciate little successes and positive moments whenever you can get them such as this last season. Other teams mentioned here similarly appear to have a bright future ahead of them as well.
Why are you showing a Jazz/Pistons highlight at 9:02 during the Knicks segment?
As a sixers fan we should be on here the sixers ever since the 80s have been a complete dumpster fire we have hire horrible GMs drafted terrible players and wasted multiple stats primes
Thank you for making this video! Imo the Kings don't get enough flack. Bad trades, management, and so many coaches that they could start their own team
I can't believe you said "Bad draft decisions" and showed a picture of RJ Barrett

As a pelicans fan,I can almost guarantee they make this list
As a Pelicans fan I was hoping not. But I understand. But it looks like we might be in a good spot now.
That Chris Webber Kings team could have won it all but the NBA rigged the game in favor of the lakers to build a bigger fan base
But the Kings didn't do themselves any favors blowing a 24-point lead and losing Game 4 on a Robert Horry game-winning 3 at the buzzer. And Game 7 where they went 2-20 from the 3-point line and 16-31 from the free-throw line.
@@shauncameron8390 True, but there’s a psychological component to having dirty refs. Like last playoffs with CP3 and Scott Foster.
