If the "art thing" doesn't pan out for you get into sales. You sold me!! Thanks for your time. (Joking about the art thing. Your work is off the chart!).
Woo Hoo Raif, I adore you right back. You too Klee. I have just been looking at different companies that offer mockups and yes I have a secret Pinterest Board of walls lol that I may not have permission to use. 15 dollars USD a month is a lot for me, especially with the exchange rate right now, but for peace of mind and ease and getting back to actually doing painting rather than fiddling with photoshop for hours to get a bunch of paintings ready for the web, I am totally going to give them a shot. Since I am at that exact point in my website, I will certainly be saving a huge time with my 67 paintings and prints that all could use a showing in a nice room. This is such a wonderful present. Thank you so much for getting this for us to try. Big Love.
I love this demo, thank you. I recently came across Canvy and you have explained it so well and confirmed for me it is the perfect solution. I have recently got to the point of setting up a website and wanting to display my art as it would be in a home/office etc. Many people can't visualise things, and like yourself I completely lack the space etc to set up `display` walls/rooms. Not to mention the money to buy all the furniture and accessories. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for the recommendation. I think that scale is important and seeing art in a room setting is great. I appreciate you getting your fans a deal. You’re awesome!!!!
This program is really good. I've downloaded numerous apps and all the furniture looked very fake. I'm not sure you know but I watched some videos on their Instagram and if you click on the wall or any item in the picture you can change the colour. Also you can change the wall texture too. It's really awesome. I'm not signing up yet because I don't have enough work to do a whole bunch at once. But will in the future
SO glad you demoed this for us. I had not heard of them. I only knew about the phone apps and I don't want to use my phone for this task. The ones I did try were so lo res on my desktop it was embarrassing. Thanks!
Rafi and Klee, thank you so much for making this video! It really means the world to us that you would take the time to do so! I've been following you guys for a while from my private account so it feels awesome to see you talk about our project here! 🤗😘 I really hope we'll get the chance to bumb into you some day irl. Thanks ~Tobias from Canvy
super informative! I appreciate how you gave the background info on how you used to do it vs. the time saving factor using canvy. I'm just about to go ahead and add mock ups to my website and social media so I'm starting my research by watching your video . thanks!
Thanks for the advice and the great free trial! A capital idea, and true that if people can see the art on the wall, they're a step closer to buying it. In fact, when I worked in a gallery in the states, we had a room with track lighting, a comfy sofa and we'd bring the piece someone liked into that private viewing space and let them see it on an actual wall, away from everything else in the gallery! Same sort of deal as doing a mock-up. Now, are there rooms with kangaroos to suit us folks here down under....?
It's an amazing tool for all artists. I'm grateful I found it. Saves so much time. Now I dont have to figure out how to match the shadow to the rest of the room. Can't express how much I love this tool. Thanks Rafi, your review has solidified my decision in using them 👍
Thank you for this video. Very informative. You know what is so great about your channel? Besides the quality of the information, your Great art work and your honesty. Is your open statement. You call your viewers “amazing artists” Thank you thank you. Is extremely motivating. Klee you are amazing, really special person. Unique. I wish you both lots of succes. Greetings from Holland.
Hi Rafi, thanks for this, your video was awesome. Maybe for the first time ever we dropped everything and watched a 20-minute video all the way through! We've just signed up for Canvy and I agree it is super-easy to use an great fun too
Thank you so much for making this video and sharing! I’ve gone through hell and back searching for photos on google and not even sure if I can use them because of copyright so very happy about this and will deff use that voucher! Thanks again :)
Thanks Rafi! This is GOLD. I have messed around with other mockup sites and not being able to scale accurately when you make small art is awful. The art tends to get lost on the wall. I have hope now!
Thank you so, so much for this video! I've been wanting to learn how to do this for so long. I love you guys, and your videos are always so encouraging!
Thanks for this video! I’m not selling paintings so Canvy isn’t something I’d use, but I regularly make ebooks about making comics, and I’ll be doing a Kickstarter for a course on making comics. And I was recommended to use mockups as well. I found some good mockup sites but it’s all paid, and I was like: I can just share screenshots, right? Why would I need this? But it looked really good. And then I saw this video! I really love the point you made about contextualizing what you’re selling. Seeing a course curriculum on a laptop or a phone makes it more real. Thanks for letting us know that you also saw a positive effect on your sales, as well! Oh, and love the turtle piece, btw!
I'm actually just getting ready to start selling my watercolor art and was thinking of how to do mock ups and I really had no idea how to do it because our house has horrible lighting throughout and having the furniture and decor to go with ... just a nightmare. I will definitely check this out.
Ahhh I love it! There is always also the option of having a few photos of a "mock up" setting/scene, and putting on the wall a checkerboard sign (1"x1" squares). For the semi-desparate, you could even go MS paint from there 😂 But this looks so so so much easier! I'm taking notes haha 😄
I've been threatening to introduce mock-up shots for my stuff for a long time. This site definitely seems to be the way to go (other than knocking together my own rooms in Blender3D, which I have considered, but who has the time?). Thank you for video and the link!
Ty so much for this informative video.. my Problem is getting a good pic to use for the mock-up.. I always have reflections and shadows😢 any advice would be greatly appreciated
I have done mock ups and did them myself. I don’t think I do them enough to justify the money for canvy but who knows that might change in the future 😉 I also use affinity photo, I refuse to pay for a subscription for photoshop lol I really like affinity photo for editing my photos. T x
@@Rafiwashere I even have affinity designer for my ipad. That is such a good software for my digital design and so affordable. Im currently using it to design my first enamel pin :) woohoo T x
sorry but in the free mode, I just can't resize to A4 or A3 my prints as it resized it to other sizes that I don't want it and is there a way to frame it in a bundle of 50 or so..crop it in a bundle ??
I’ve been using Canvy for over a year now. I’m so disappointed as I have had issue over issues with this company 😡 from correcting pricing on pieces, trying to remove certain things, the list goes on and to this day still having problems. I understand it is a Beta but this has become exhausting!
canvy is too modern and it cheapens artwork that has more of a traditional look. they need to have more baroque furniture and backgrounds and then maybe I will go there.
I swear to god you and Klee are the only two people on the internet that make me feel sane. Thank you 🙏🏻

The severe thunderstorms woke me up at 5am. So... I'm on a roll watching your videos. They're all so helpful. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the Canvy suggestion..I just tried a freebie & this is so cool!!!
I love them over at Canvy!
Thanks :)

You could also change the colour of the wall.
Hello, nice video you got there, sir! Pardon me for asking this but how you add 2 more artworks to the mockup?

Take it outside before or after noon.
Any guidance on taking quality photographs for your prints?
How do you remember to take photo of yourself working on the art or do you pretend you’re working on it at a half way point ?

Rafi you still change the dpi to make it hard to steal right?
For the free version it’s now 7 rooms but unlimited mockups so really good, there is a paid version for all rooms 10:52

Contact them, they are always trying to help out in any way they can.
I tried uploading artwork but couldn’t. Is there a specific file type that is required?
....jpg is good for art.
I swear I thought you messed up saying "canva" then I looked and was like OH canvy.. yeah that makes more sense.. it is a real site..
I did the same, lol

I need to sell something online first. I have zero success selling art online. I am in a very dark area in my art career this week.
