it depends on your laptop's usb c output specifications. it needs to have displayport output alt mode or DP ALT mode to connect directly to the monitor via usb c
I just bought uperfect gaming monitor 144hz 18 inch portable monitor 2k 2560x1600 and use on Xbox s but games on running very clear on that monitor. Maybe because of HTMI cable I am using is coming with the monitor. Is it fix if I will use original 4k htmi which comes with Xbox x?

I’m able to use the iPad Pro M4 without external power just 1 single usb C cable Unfortunately I had to return it , menu button not working, replacement had white spot, I will just stay away from Uperfect , unless you want to play return game with Amazon until you get a good unit. Also the “ new” model is full plastic, not aluminum and no usb otg on the side but they are 144hz even that the listing says 120hz only. Uperfect should be rebranded IMPERFECT no wonder there’s so many for sale on eBay used/refurbished directly from the factory.
You didn’t test the ps5 1440p or 1080p output. I wanted to see if PS5 allowed 1440p 120

I think you should be fine using either. I think they are rated for 4k

Have you tested it with an iphone plug by an hdmi cable (with the official apple adaptater) ? Cause i have an iphone 13pro so no usb c port..
