More Pokémon games should do this stuff. Like, add more items and strategies to their teams to make them more interesting. I would love to get destroyed by a Togedemaru in the games due to them using a Iron Barbs / Rocky Helmet setup. 🤣
This is why I prefer trying non-contact moves if feasible. The only true substantial benefit to a contact move comes from having a Tough Claws boost; otherwise it's just a definition that carries a whole boatload of potential negatives like Static, Flame Body, and Rough Skin/Iron Barbs + Rocky Helmet.
I remember people being excited by Skill-Link Cinccino STAB Tail Slap. I also remember my Druddigon "Stop Hitting Yourself" build with Rough Skin + Rocky Helmet. In case anyone wonders, having someone concede a game while calling you a motherfucker is really funny.
I've never used a togemadaru before, but honestly I wanted to, it's typing despite its weaknesses are better than ferrothorn, and zing zap is a surprisingly good move
I lost a couple runs to this pokemon. I just forget that it has these things up until I hit the damn thing and realization of what I just did dawns on me right before my Pokemon's health drops to zero. My current PB and the run I'm still on is right before the first battle with Giovanni.

Thing is, afaik Smant is contracted to Twitch and can't post full vods for a good while after he has streamed. That's why the VOD channel is a year behind or so.

There was a trainer in I wanna say BDSP who used a focus sash/endeavor/quick attack poke that abruptly koed my starter it was infuriating
