      You don’t know how he was raised. People, adults and children have their OWN WILL and their OWN MINDS. My parents raised me “correctly” we lives in a “nice neighborhood.” We weren’t poor and whatever other stereotypes people use and I still ran a muck and did whatever I wanted to do. And I knew what I was doing was wrong. My parents cried and prayed and thank God turned my life around. I don’t blame my parents for what I did as a child or young adult. People are so quick to judge the parents and not the child/young adult.

    Statistically speaking, if you were late to the court for a case, most judges would rule in favor of the other individual by default, unless by some sheer miracle, the judge shows leniency and decides to recall the case. Otherwise, it's a good lesson as to why it is so important to show up to court on time.

      But they needed him for the sake of TV content so a producer drove all the way to Highland Park to pick him up. He most likely just wanted to postpone the taping 'cause he wasn't in the mood and felt it was optional, given he was being paid an appearance fee, etc. as if he's doing them a favor.

Ten, 15, 20 years from now when his boss, coworkers, neighbors, teenage sons, aunts, uncles, cousins, doctor, lawyer all recognize him from this idiot video, then he’ll be hanging his head in shame, wishing the earth would swallow him up away from the embarrassment and ridicule this video will bring into his life. That dumb little grin will quickly become quite a big frown. I wish she would run for president.

    I agree with Judge Judy on respecting other people's time. That's why I strive hard to be on time for my appointments. I'd rather be very early and have to wait, than to be late. That throws everyone else's schedule off.

    Having respect for time comes with maturity. Growing up, I remember being in the 7th grade and my teacher Mrs. Weaver gave me a jewel 💎. I was late to school for like the 4th or 5th time. I gave the excuse that I had to catch 2 buses and a train, which was true. But she said “listen, that’s an excuse whether you understand it or not and if you don’t figure out why now, you’ll be late for the rest of your life”. It took me a while, but I finally understood that in my mid 20s and now make it my DUTY to be on time to anything I commit to. Thank you Mrs. Weaver! ❤️

      She has already said in an interview that she looks at their education, lifestyle, family history etc when she decides to reprimand people on their grammar. If they are in university and using ums, yeahs etc, she will absolutely rip into them.

      I saw a JJ episode years back where the defendant kept saying like in his sentences - “It was like 10 o’clock” etc and she called him out on it. The next answer he gave he kept saying “For sure” and boy, if looks could kill 😂

    Plaintiff was quite daft to allow the defendant to take the vehicle and/ or possible title without being paid in full. Should never trust some random stranger with promises. I believe he would have never paid her unless JJ intervened. Not to mention he was significantly late to court with a botched up excuse which tella everything of his character
