    Got my preliminary application back and it says i"m not a good enough candidate (due to my grades, lack of volunteer hours, totally agree). Well, best believe, this last year of high school, i'm busting ass because it's been my dream since 6th grade to become a pilot in the Navy. Might be too late, but there's still nothing stopping me from becoming a midshipman.

    I respect anyone who serves - both officers and enlisted. But just a friendly reminder: The greater threat to what's left of our Liberties are NOT overseas. They are already here domestically. They are the politicians who refuse to respect and honor the Constitution. And these politicians are the same ones who will send you to harms way to preserve the hegemony of the petrodollar. I will never question the honor and integrity of those who wear the uniform. But at the same time, do not be afraid to refuse to follow unconstitutional orders.

      We are of the same mind, my friend. They take an oath to defend against "all enemies, both foreign and domestic". The wolves are in the house, not at the gates, but no one remembers that we outnumber our adversaries a thousand to one. If even a fraction of the Military rose up and rebelled against those traitors in Congress, the country could be salvaged. They teach "leadership" and "chain of command" at the Service Academies, which I support, but what happens when the chain is stained with corruption and death?

    Are they a school that only looks at tests scores, and do they look at everything you've accomplished throughout your schooling career? My SAT was a 1110 and I have yet to take the ACT, but I've just always dreamed of going to this school. I'm afraid to be rejected.

    • @isaiah1931
      @isaiah1931 4 роки тому +3

      Nolan Hull It is a collective decision process meaning that they are supposed to consider everything. However the academic standards are very competitive and if I’m being honest, a 1110 will definitely not cut it. You want to aim for the 1400-1500 range and the 32-34 range for the ACT. Of course the higher the better. You also have to consider the recommendation letter from a member of Congress which is mandatory for the application. Applying for the Naval Academy is really a minimum 3 application process since you need to apply to get the recommendation letter, then apply for the academy. With that said, a competitive GPA is also very admirable. On a 4.0 scale a 3.9 (maybe a 3.8) and above would suffice. None of this is meant to discourage you, but it is important to remember the vast amount of students who apply to the academy. I wish you the best of luck in your academic endeavors!
