I agree with you on that. I would be still be playing it if my progress wasn't reset the last 3 times I did after being stuck at the "Applying Upgrades" infinite loading screen. The rest of the game, while not even close to the standards of older Forza games, is not bad and I was enjoying myself while racing. But I absolutely hate having to redo progress in games, so that is a big no for me. And I'm saying that as a fan of the series who has played a couple 1000 hours combined over almost all the entries (I haven't played the first one and the PC only free to play one). The game just shouldn't have been released in this state, look at what it did for games like Fallout 76, Anthem or the latest Halo (they can even ask the devs involved). But in all honesty, it's most likely not the devs fault but their management.
@@MaartenTthey fucked up big time IMO, delayed 2 or 3 times from consoles release, this should of been polished. Single player AI is a joke, that's putting it mildly. Multiplayer is good but heavily tarnished with constant crashes and irritating bugs like disappearing HUD. Reason why I'm only doing tuning, paintwork and hotlaps right now. Hopefully the 14th of this month brings a worthy update.
How much of my time do they think they get to waste? It's so bad. They better pull a rabbit out of the hat or this is my last Forza.
This game feels more like a demo than a a full game.
The only difference is you wouldn't have to grind one car for 10 hours in the demo.
You have such a loyal community of devoted players. I was so looking forward to you releasing a really good game. Since I didn't used to play racing sims, I actually invested 5 grand specifically for FM, upgraded my rig, bought a Playseat, and even got myself a steering wheel, all just to play competing games now.

It would be cool if we actually had a horsepower and torque map to look at while building and tuning a car like in previous versions of the game. I have no idea how you guys thought this was okay to leave out. It's essential for gear ratio tuning as well as for engine building. It makes a huge difference for me which part I add whether it gives me power at the low or top end. This game was supposed to offer more car settings and options but you've done less and decided to spend 7 years on leveling up and "building credits" which are things that are hated and don't belong in this genre of games. It forces people to spend more time in one car instead of try out different cars. I was hoping for more features that are available in cars in the real world but that hasn't been the case. It's like you guys think there are only two types of players, the gt3 online racers and everyone else are playing the game for the first time and there are no other people in the middle. The driving dynamics and resolution are better but literally everything else is worse.

Can you give me a tip on how to not make it stuck at "Applying Upgrades" constantly and not save my game? My tip to you: I am done playing until that gets fixed, losing progress 3 times is 3 times too many. It's pathetic that this is still not fixed (from what I can see online) after a month. How is a game not saving progress or the game getting stuck at an infinite loading screen not a number one priority bug? It feels like the game development was restarted 3 times and the current version is only a year old and was released as a beta to make shareholders happy.
Maybe stop listening to idiot studios who only think about online only content and keep making the type of games your studio is actually good at instead of trying to follow dumb trends. The game is basically unplayable for me until progress getting lost gets fixed, it's actually pathetic that this was allowed to be released (there is no way the devs weren't aware of these bugs).
Also, while I don't play Halo, so I can't say for sure, this game feels like what I heard about the most recent Halo game. An unfinished mess that needs more time in the oven as it feels rushed. It feels like the direction of the game changed so many times that the devs didn't know what to do any more after having to scrap stuff constantly. I don't know what they are doing over there at Microsoft, but I am not convinced them buying all those studios has been the best thing for the actual games that come out of those studios. What a waste of talent and money.
Whats the use of the rating systems if we'll always be matched with players who like to crash into you, fix the AI why do they slow down when you drafting or when you about to overtake they slow down so dramatically, it makes the win feel like you are gifted this game is a mess. Built from the ground up

You haveroom in this Forza for about 150 tuning files not even enough for 1 for each car in the game!!!!!!!!! Seriously it's game breaking because your game auto saves a tune that can't be deleted every time I build a car
