Beautiful introduction about how to build more complex block layouts - thanks so much! Just saw that there is an option for negative margins now, right? Would be nice to see this in a follow up video. One question: How can I add some animations to blocks? Is there or will there be a native solution or do I need to add some plugin?
Thank you for the feedback @stefanullinger. At this stage, you will still need to add a plugin, such as Blocks Animation, to add animation to blocks. 🙂
Negative margins are available with the Gutenberg plugin which adds experimental new features to WordPress (many of which will eventually be incorporated in core WordPress). Jamie Marsland has done a short UA-cam video on using negative margins with the Gutenberg plugin.
