I managed a short walk without too many issues with the shoulder and managed to get a video out of it. Hoping to get a longer walk in this week (if the weather complies). Hope you and your family have a great Christmas
Those Seagates are synonymous with malfunctions. I wish I knew this before I threw out the ones that I had. I could have fixed those and would have been able to save my data.
I’m in the midst of this now. 2TB of data I’m trying to recover. I’ve ordered the unit and hopefully it works for me before I have to but the bullet and send to a profession data recovery service.
Thx for your instructions! But my Problem is different. My external Hard Drive fell to the ground several times and now when I plug in the Hard Drive, it becomes weird noises and the PC doesn't recognize my external Hard Drive anymore. Is it now totally broken or not?
@@pampamtv4527 Okay thanks. I've been having the same connection problem where it spins but the computer doesn't detect it, so I ordered an enclosure. This adds some more reassures.

You will have try connect the board to new power source and see if it powers up. I hope you have not lost your data.

I bought it from Takealot which is local. But you can also get it from eBay or Amazon. Just need the correct enclosure casing.
