@@BassHeadZebulon Bro, you jammed a 2 X 6 and beach towel into your port. Yes you lowered tuning, but you likely added a few DB's of port noise and towel flapping in the process. Just run sealed, better power handling and stable low end.
@@BassHeadZebulon Ok but you just reduced your port area by 12 sq inches and an unknown volume, likely altering enclosure tuning well below the driver's Fs which almost certainly destroys any smooth response curve and negates any gain from using a ported enclosure. There's a way to achieve what you're going for generally speaking extending port length. But even doing that has a limit where it no longer makes sense to use a ported enclosure.

Actually, no port noise or "towel flapping". I do like sealed setups, but ported is louder and I want loudness.
