Anytime a medicine becomes a trend people should start to worry… the medicine companies are banking on people’s insecurities. It’s so gross.

The medicine is intended to address a potentially deadly disease. Obesity which leads to a long list of life shortening illnesses. It’s the medi spas that are prescribing for insecurity. It’s medical doctors who prescribe for health.

@@kathleenking47 the food supply is tainted. Many people don't cook their own food from scratch anymore. Anything that's prepackaged is going to have undesirable chemicals included. We're also in a unique time in all of human history. The Western world has more food than they've ever had available before. So gluttony is more likely to happen.

Jane Fonda’s secret to thinness was anorexia nervosa, according to her. She did exercise doing her aerobics, but is lucky she never had a heart attack from the aerobics combined with her eating disorder.

So obvious she suffered from an eating disorder then. Her 80s physique is shocking when you see the old videos and photos. So many women starved to look like that.

I’ve been on a weight loss journey after finding out I’m diabetic and it impacts my health. I am not on medication. I don’t think the obsession with thinness is healthy, but neither is fat acceptance. We need to love people regardless of size, but it’s still okay to tell someone who isn’t healthy to take care of themselves. Body types should not be a matter of style.

Exactly, a lot of people think that the opposite of thin obsession is radical acceptance of unhealthy bodies, which is equally as dangerous. We need to promote ACTUAL healthy lifestyles.

Laura you have put this together perfectly..showing how women have abused their bodies in the name of being thin for decades! I saw an interview with Demi Moore today. She said she had to diet and exercise so hard to fit in to the Hollywood ideal and her roles, that she had no idea what her real physic looked like..

I am taking mounjaro (similar to ozempic) to manage my blood sugar. I lost 50 pounds. And fortunately i had no unpleasant symptoms. I just don't feel hungry most of the time and get full really easily. My blood sugar is much better as well. But my friend who is very slender already took ozempic to try to get her pre diabetic blood sugar down. She lost 12 pounds she didn't need to lose and was sick the whole time. She stopped taking it after about 3 weeks.

Congratulations, but we will see how and if you use long term, how your body will feel. Because, one thing that is trouble some is a pill control your appetite, that takes away your control and ability to make good food choices for your body. Which is why most gain the weight back, once off.

Remember ladies and gentlemen, if beauty standards were about health, we would have Olympians and Athletes as the ideals. Your health and fitness body may look different than others.

For most people, using this medication is the same as getting stomach surgery. It doesn't fix people's habits once the benefits wear off. I had coworkers who tried both, and they gained weight again because their attitudes of maintaining a healthy diet and exercise didn't change.

The promotion of cigarette smoking and tobacco products as being “ Glamorous “ from the 1930s-1960s is Criminal and horrendous . My parents both got hooked as teenagers in the late 1940s really believing it was Cool , Hip and Sexy to Smoke .Like the Movie Stars . In the late 70s as a young teen girl in Junior High Kids started smoking but I didn’t . These kids thought they were “‘Cool”
Also . Smoking started becoming largely banned in Many public places including ball NightClubs,Pubs&!Bars as well as restaurants & Malls etc by the mid 1990s in Canada where I grew up . Vaping is also banned . Legally of course . You can loose your Business license if you are caught allowing smoking in any business or Night spot.
