- Usually Terry would be found behind the wheel of his 9 second Ford Escort van but that's having some upgrades so this is his spare car which has a few of the vans old bits on it!
A 2002 Ford Focus Saloon with it's original 80k miles 2.0 Zetec with a GT30 Turbo strapped to it making 430HP... complete with a roof rack & tow bar!

What are you guys suggesting/using for an ecu to do the cam timing adjustments on the st170 engines ?
I use a mega squirt ms3. But I'm blacktop. I think the Maxx ecu is capable of vvt. Speak to Micheal Clarke about it

At the end of the burnout at 2:20 what causes the flash and bang that appears to come out of the bonnet? It literally seems to appear through the metal of the bonnet? Weird!

At 0:12 what I notice about this Ford focus is it looks just like the North American version of the Ford focus only difference this UK Ford focus is right hand drive and the rear tail lights got that Amber light bulbs in the center of the tail lights but the North American version of the Ford focus is left hand drive and the rear tail lights are all red that's how I am seeing the difference
Yeah it's the same, the hatch was a more popular option here though.

Why no AWD?
This isn’t his main race car just a bit of fun and he wanted it as a back up car for the FWD shootouts we have
500hp my ass, this thing can barely do a 12 second quarter. Looks like 300-400hp at best
Look at the trap speed. If the car was RWD and set up it would be in the 10’s
11.2 at 126 was the best of the weekend. Keep watching as it will be in the 10s very shortly

Despite it beating a couple of Jaguar F-Types over the weekend? It's meant to look like a turd that's the whole idea of a sleeper. His other vehicle is a Ford Escort Van and that runs 9s, this just has the old bits he takes off the van to have a bit of fun in.
Its not all about winning you know ! If that were the case then it would all be high end top fuel multi million machines ! It about a bit of craic and not taking things seriously - That being said that's a pretty rapid Focus and a proper sleeper!!
