Very awesome to see you color mixing here! It’s cool to see what you can achieve with just a limited palette.

Thank you for putting out this video! There are lots of zorn palette-type videos out there but they dont often approach it this well or in this way. This helps a ton in giving me the understanding of these color combinations and their relation to other existing colors I might have around

This is marvelous, the demo broken down gives the right combinations for flesh colors that have been difficult for me.

Since I have been using the zorn palette, I have learned that the important thing is not to reproduce a color, but to simulate it.

Oh Cesar! Those turned forms on the calves! Drifting into the shadows with just a temperature shift to delineate the edge of the form. And this is the first painting or maybe even the under painting. Just amazing. Shows such discipline on the palette, maintaining clean hues on the palette without shifting too hot or cold I find to be tricky with the Zorn palette. Very controlled. Nicely painted. Looking forward to seeing more of it. Cheers

I use all around cleaning wipes to clean my pallete. If I run out, I use baby wipes, work well on glass pallete, also before I wash my brushes, I use these wipes.

I’ve read that the Fayum portrait painters used a limited, like what we call Zorn, palette. Are you familiar with the mummy portraits? Mummy portaits are amazing, encauastic, first century images. Thank you for a wonderful channel
