Definitely a better run and with tougher splitting wood! Things I love about this challenge, seeing together splitters, techniques, etc. Seeing channels have fun competing and ending up with a nice pile of splits when it’s all over! I add this to the playlist on my channel.
Nice work fellas! That white oak was a tough nut to crack! I’ve heard Andrew say before, “if you want a log splitter/processor to look good, run some red oak through it.” 😂
It’s amazing how much wood that unit can split especially with another set of hands! Watching your videos in the past is what inspired me to buy a Ruggedmade. Guess , I’m gonna have to start saving my money for in Easton 🤣
I still say you need to add a sticker to each machine "Butt to the Wedge" . This is another video that proves it is easier and faster to put the butt to the wedge. Easy to see pump go into 2nd stage on multiple "backwards" rounds and start to cut the wood instead of splitting. And darn that was stringy wood.
With the box wedge it splits the first part of the round well then looks like the last third it starts cutting through the round. The pusher starts pushing the wood upward closer it gets to the wedge. Good job and keep the videos coming
Man that white oak was tough! Only oak here that gives me fits is live oak, worst wood to split. You still did awesome, it would take me forever to split that amount of wood.
I have the same splitter. I was worried that maybe something was wrong with mine because of this issue. I had quite a bit of live oak and it got hung up in the box wedge also. Glad to see it isn't just mine. Overall it is an amazing unit!
@@derekstonicher5694 make sure the adjustment screw on the side of the pump hasn’t backed out if it has turn it all the way in and back it off 2.5 turns.
Way to go guys. 20 minutes a face oak seems good to me. Are you able to sharpen wedges? And when we talked earlier this month of my 12 22 not starting it is in the shop waiting for parts all the electrical everything on engine went out. Bill
Great video....but have you seen the Outdoors with the Morgan's Injury video? Pulling the splits from the box wedge, having your head in front of the splitter is very dangerous. I wouldn't have thought so two days ago, but now can't help but think so. Please be safe.
Its not how fast you go, but rather about the journey. While the face cord challenge was entertaining, you competed with a smaller machine without compromising the small pizza wood size you need.

Totally agree!

Nothing wrong with the ruggedmade great machine.
That’s a great time for that size splits!! Ready to bundle no re-split required, nice job brother!
Really good run guys. Especially in that stringy wood. Welcome to the Eastonmade weight loss program lol

Good job guys. It looks like you have the conveyor dialed in. I think a conveyor has to be in my near future.
Good job now go get a beer!
Great job!! Glad the conveyor was dialed in!! Lots of wood in a short time!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Excellent work on the 🪵now time for the 🍺❤😊

Man, that white oak was rough! 😮

dont forget to check your adjustment screw on the side of the pump
@@OutsidewithScheib what do you mean?

@@OutsidewithScheib Thank you for that info. I will Check it out ASAP
Watch your chicken nugget snachers guys.Igot in a hurry last week and almost took off a finger. Awesome video though! Keep them coming!
Way to go Scheib. Cheers 🍻 woooooooo
Why you keep putting your hand in there once the splitting cycle has started ? Makes me nervous.

Good video
Have you tried sharpening the box wedge…. Some UA-cam’rs are … haven’t tried mine yet
hi there well done john

Nice time . Beer 30 now !!
Ah. I have a question. Was that white oak stringy? 😅
Yep
How much does a unit like that sell for in US funds and probably has a lot of freight charge all the way from Canada ?
Just shows how good equipment can do it. Would i do it all the time no but its capable..
👍👍
Wooooo

Well, the deal here is he is splitting OAK, not some selected hand picked Ash...
I should have worn my yoga pants! I think you could have just lost the second camera angle buddy. 😂
Yoga pants for the next video Mr sushisam! Shake what you got!! 😅😂
😂😂😂
Looks like fun, I think you can do it faster 😂😂
That is a very slow splitter.
I hope you get pId by the hour not by the cord.
If you think that is slow you should see mine! About a 15 second cycle time.
Good job guys, All for fun, 🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Seems like the motor has lost a litter bit of power to the splitter...maybe my imagination.
