Thank you for this. I learn from you. i also need a suggestion. i face a lot of wind noise in my ls2 ff390 helmet when i ride above 100kmph. i tried everything except balaclava. The helmet is very tight but when i tuck my neck under my shoulders while riding ,the wind noise stops. which means that it is sneaking from the neck area. It makes me very uncomfortable on a long highway rides. i ride only on highways. Shall i change my helmet? or shall I simply buy a m3m ear buds which are used for swimming?
I have the same issue with my AGV. It has a lot of vents and the ventilation is great but that also means that it will never be a quiet helmet no matter what I do. Just not made to be quiet. I have a thick and a thin material balaclava. It helps a bit but not ground breaking. Haven't tried ear buds. I mean before you change the helmet try the buds. Else, just look for a quieter helmet. I use audiologist made custom ear plugs. And a balaclava. And an adjustable windshield. Anything to save what little hearing I have left.
