Oh My Joanna……”eye candy” at every turn of your video……the agricultural foundation shared by You is so important to this long long history of using our resources responsibly and artfully…..Joanie “the educator” ….these elders are the “mindful libraries “ we must continue to mine and honor ……your choice from Mermaids made me so happy……
LambTown is such a cute name for Dixon, CA - first time hearing of it. The one-handed knitting tool caught my attention - nice invention. I enjoyed all the yarnie goodness. Congratulations, Happy Mermaid on your first event as a vendor! 💖 Thank you for bringing us along. ♥
That was great fun for us who can’t get there to see the vendors and sheep to shawl wow amazing, and loved you speaking to the vendors and hearing their story. Thanks Joanne 😊😊
This was a perfect way to get a glimpse of Lambtown. YES do the interviews more often. The sheep to shawl competition was fun to see. I heard that the “two coast” dyers had beautiful yarn and that they started when two friends lived on opposite coasts and started dying. Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
Lambtown was the best yet this year, and I agree it's only going to grow and get better and better. Great to meet you, love the haul and thanks for shouting out the fabulous Opposite Coast yarns!
This video was wonderful, Joanna. I’ve enjoyed going to Lambtown for the last several years. You did a great job capturing the spirit of the festival. I enjoyed the footage you took and interviews you did. I liked getting to see what you purchased.
Thanks for bringing us along on this Lambtown festival adventure. I enjoyed your conversations with people. I must order some of those needle tips! So cute.
That was fun to go along with you to Lambtown! What a cute name. I’ve never been to a Fiber festival and didn’t know what it would be like so thank you for sharing 🐑🧶💖
What a great trip!! I can't wait to see you next festival vlog I overheard from a knitty friend you were going to Portland 😁 Absolutely adored the Coral Mermaid yarn sock set and the needle protectors are awesome!! I got some alpaca ones recently that are bringing me much joy!
I was there the whole day on saturday and it was so hot!! I should have gone both days like you did. I missed out on some things because I couldnt handle the heat. I love seeing the festival from your perspective. I vlogged a little that day but I was too shy to ask anyone questions on film. lol I LOVE that you did that! :)
I’ve caught the spinning bug too and trying to improve but it’s taking a while! This was a really interesting video and more like this with some interviews would be amazing! In the UK I guess our nearest festivals would be Yarndale and Wonderwool but not sure if the agricultural aspect is included- but still amazing shows to attend. Glad you had a good time - in spite of the heat x
That was so much fun! Reminded me very much of the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival. I try to attend every other year and my favorite thing is watching the awesome stock dog trials…and, off course, the fiber shopping.😍
I must admit, that just from your videos, LambTown looks a lot more appealing and unfrenzied than Rhinebeck and its satellite festivals. It seems that there was really time to absorb what was going on. The temperature was unappealing though (I’m a Brit, married to a Texan, living in England 🌧️). Jinny - UK
It's great to have somebody showing lambtown off for people who don't know about it. It's a great festival. Thank you

How fun!! I loved Lambtown this year. I never heard of sacred sheep but I’m excited to learn more about it!! Hope you get to drop spindle ❤
Love this vlog! Fingers crossed you are vlogging at Rhinebeck. :)
I was there with my daughter and she just loves it. The children’s section is huge too, so it’s a very family friendly event.
Beautiful

Loved a tour of what to expect at the festival. Thank you. Planning a trip for 2024, any hotel suggestions?
You are most welcome! I don’t unfortunately have any hotel suggestions but there may be some on the festival website!
