Yogs every civ game: I can't believe how bad the automated workers are.
Also yogs every civ game: I can't be bothered to manually control my workers.
They should at least turn off the "let auto workers replace improvements". that would make auto workers bad instead of awful
@@ozymantiasVI compared to every other improvement trading posts are just so AWFUL unless you specifically pick up three culture policies to improve them, and even then I'd probably take a farm or a mine. I'll never understand why the AI weighs them so heavily. And then the cherry on top is they're horrible at prioritizing what to build. They'll happily make trading posts in tiles you'll never work instead of (as in this very case) not bother to improve a vital resource right next to it.

@okram2k Yeah pretty much this. They're not complaining about the work it takes to micro them, they're complaining about the AI being dumb and poorly coded, and its a fair complaint.
@@matheusGMN The AI prioritizes them because the AI is made to largely prioritize gold. Hence it builds them everywhere, even though it is extremely inefficient.
I find it funny how Lewis is so comfortable he is narrating his capabilities and winning potential in hopes someone acts against him.

Lewis might just end up losing this game to culture or diplomatic victory due to his sheer laziness in not looking at the tourism screen and using his ridiculous income to buy all city states
I'm convinced he let Rythian win the international games because he doesn't want his win to be a tourism victory

Also gota say; that music during Daltos and Duncans war sounds straight out of a JRPG boss fight.

I feel like his biggest mistake this game was not punishing Lewis for declaring war on him, he should have taken some of Lewis OG cities and razed them when he had the advantage/chance
@@WeebishSwed He couldn't he was getting something like -44% Production from negative happiness just after he took his own cities back, it's Entirely on Duncan for not actually waring Lewis with any intent to take anything

@@okram2k At the same time, Lewis has always proven to go down swining. It's NOT easy to take Lewis's cities unless you take him by suprise. Daltos knew this, and given how unhappy his civ was after taking back his own cities and that Lewis has gotten Arty just as he got pushed back to his own terretory I say it was a good idea to peace out with Lewis.
Daltos turned out to be a bit disappointing this game. His war with Duncan made sense in the beginning, but I think he got tunnel vision. If he had spent his time fighting Lewis, then he may have actually slowed them down. Oh well.
Daltos disappointing? Nah no way.
Then he'll just be playing Kingmaker. He's playing to win, not playing to drag down whoever's in 1st Place and let someone else win. His problem is that he sucks at war, so desptie the fact that he's fighting against Duncan "Drags mouse across the screen to ranged attack" Jones, he's still not making much progress.
I wouldn't blame him too much on his skill for this, as the Turn Timer just makes doing anything hard, but the inability to win wars fast hurts Daltos's strategy of picking off weaker player to gain resources to challange stronger players, which is what he's always trying to do with these wars.
@@daddysempaichan to add daltos needs be at war to make use of honour. If not he's playing 7 policies behind.
Being at war with Duncan means he can kill units, Lewis will kill his units.
Idk i'm guessing he thought he could steamroll duncan with his more experienced army a little quicker then stack the benefits of extra cities, but maybe he shoulda just turtled then fought Lewis, but Lewis is so stacked that I'm not convinced he wouldn't just steamroll Daltos. Maybe we can get someone in the game other than fucking Rhythian who just bankrolls Lewis' first war every single fucking game so Lewis leaves him alone because he would rather just sit in the corner barely even trying and talking non-fucking-stop until the recording is over.
I'm happy with his plays purely so that this game doesn't end in Culture
Rythian doesn't know what he's missing playing on a keyboard and mouse that are not covered in ivory like the rest of us has. Also, hunt him!

It seems the wars between Daltos and Duncan devolve into conflicts of spite with no chance of either winning.
Kirsty is about to win a diplo victory sheerly because nobody wants to attack them lmao. Isn't a Diplo win 25 votes? How is nobody in the game alarmed by this?
two players make and have way more gold stock piled than kirsty. All it takes to stop the diplo win is a couple of clicks.

The number of votes needed to win is scaled off of the number of city states and players alive (and game speed I think). They've had games in the past end in a diplo victory because people started killing city states thinking that will stop the votes, which reduces the votes needed and ends the game
If ivory horns were popped off or if they could be trimmed down for health reasons thats like the only time id say ivory is fine to take.
Lets send Rythian a nice Ivory Keyboard.

@@alferneeDaltos got attacked first because he was bragging about how great he was doing, only survived at all because he got artillery first, then made peace the moment he retook his lands and immediately turned on Duncan

the minute or so where daltos talks about him “being an orator” in an “agora type setting” was one of the most cringe moments i have experienced. i like daltos, but sometimes i think he has no idea what he sounds like. its cool; do your talking thing but man you gotta know that busting that story is going to get awkward confused crickets
Seeing not a single one of them finish the center of progress, especially when it got to the point of only taking 1 turn to complete for the last 3 vids is mildly annoying ahahaha
Do you know what it does? It's from their mod, but I'm not sure the bonuses it provides
@@iain-duncan It's a production building, can't remember exactly what it does, but I'm pretty sure it's a production boost in the city it's made in and a smaller boost in the others.
The center of progress is only used to get an ideology when the player cant build 3 factories (aka they only have 2 cities total). So it makes no sense for them to build it, it does not add production or anything. It's a lekmod addition
