@@davidchan3238 高房价是因为所有人都在往大城市挤，我现在生活在澳洲也是一样的情况，悉尼的房价现在也是一般人承受不起，因为大家都往悉尼挤，所以这个也不是政府造成的。而且政府也在尽力发展中小城市从而引流一些人去中小城市发展。所以说一个国家社会都是慢慢发展的，可能现在不是最好的，但是在进步

The couplet is red regularly. But if a member of family dead, the colour of couplets will change. In the first year after a member dying, the colour is white; in the second year, it would be blue, just like that in video. But it is not unified, the convention could have slightly difference depending on the region.

The code used to be applied to clothings as well, and what the family can and can't do. E.g. during the first year of mourning, no entertainment or festive occasion is allowed or celebrated, etc. But it's loosened up these days to shorter periods or none at all.
Yeah，and here in Anhui province, when a family member passes away, the couplets are usually yellow with dark characters.

It was reported that in the early 90s, her logistics cost was 29% of her GDP, last year it was down to 14%, how much a saving is the 15% of her GDP?? If the couplet is not red but white, blue or yellow, it means someone in the house past away and the family is going through a three-year mourning period. White means the person just past away recently, blue means the funeral happened a year ago and yellow means it happened two years ago. Kinda creepy. 😱

The purple couplets at the door means one of the older generation has passed way. Usually red couplets means they are celebrating something like New Year or any other festivals. Yes, China sure takes care of their citizen especially those that are not as fortunate.

I just finished a drama series called Mining Town（山海情）about relocating people from most remote area to some place they can have a future of developing. The transition is extremely hard. The good thing is the results are good for the majority of the migrants.

Being a rural area,clay can be made from corn starch ,salt and water Mixed with straw which they use mainly for the actual hose structure ,where the walls are placed on top of each other is known as dry wall construction and mainly used for boundaries walls 👍

紫色对联是代表祭祀故人进入第二年。
对联的颜色与当地民俗相关。普遍能够见到的就是红色，红色代表喜迎。在有些地方还有白色，黄色，紫色，绿色和蓝色等。
例如在湖北：黄色代表思念新逝的亲人，紫色、蓝色代表祭祀故人进入第二年，绿色代表祭祀故人进入第三年。白色在有些地方代表思念新逝的亲人。
贴紫色对联是因为家里有近年去世的亲人。一般对联都是红色的，只是在部分地区，如果家里有长辈离世，那么在当年要贴白色的对联，第二年贴黄色对联，第三年贴紫色对联。三年过去后，第四年就能贴红色对联了。Purple couplets are pasted because there are relatives who have died in recent years. Generally, couplets are red, but in some areas, if an elder dies at home, white couplets should be pasted in that year, yellow couplets in the second year and purple couplets in the third year. Coming from a western society, I love what China has to offer us. It is able to integrate the history with the modern things. I just hope Alibaba and the online shopping does not get rid of all the small shops and villages where people are trading and interacting as a community. This to me is the spice of life in China, giving us the simpler things in life and appreciation of the fabulous rural scenes and the history of the country.

My parents were born here in Shouyang, Shanxi. The answer is that Spring Festival couplets will turn purple when someone in the family dies.
This is my hometown province 山西，but my town DaiXian is 130km from Shouyang. Traditions of small towns can be very different even in the same province. This is how it is in my hometown 130km away. When a senior family member (parents, grandparents) passed away, the couplets have to be white background in the first Spring Festival (Chinese New Year), then blue in the next year, you can use red again after 3 years.
By the way I love your videos and how you show the west what China is really like. I am Chinese and I live in Australia. Seeing how the western media is doing to their people's view of China makes me feel very sad. Hope more people watch your vedios and thanks for sharing!
