Great Vid Rob, hope you don't mind I added a bit of info to a question from @JC2200 about replacing the Giraldez trigger hat.. I tried to do a vid myself on this subject but you beat me to it..
I'm crap at video editing anyway and I come across as an old fart .. So I'm glad to just sit in the background and let the experts like yourself run with it..

Great video, as always! Since the Giraldez is relatively new, I figured the new Evo trigger would be the one to fit. I actually use my thumb on the trigger a la Giger, wrapping my fingers around the air valve. I used to use my forefinger, but tried my thumb one day to ease the strain on my forefinger while spraying cleaner into one of those pots designed for it. I then caught Warwick's video about Giger using his thumb, and I've never gone back. The only exception is the Badger high roller trigger, where my forefinger works better using the Extreme Patriot 105. Would still like to see a painting test of the new Evo trigger stuck in the old Evo. Always appreciate your insight and experimentation with these airbrushes!

It's why I didn't go for a Giraldez.
From the 1970s onwards, I've always had my finger over the front, it feels best to me, so I have to be mindful of paint cup position. I can work further back, but each to their own. I've no other reason than its how I use an AB.
I've got mobility issues now, so I try to work around that - also I have to engage in less/shorter sessions.
Some really good info there Rob which should be helpful for those that are having issues with the trigger on the H&S Giraldez, I think you should charge for this sort of invaluable info mate👌👍
Well he is right. But now. I'm right handed and my index finger is short. Meaning. Look at your index finger. Now you go from the tip of the finger to the second joint. I lost that much in a accident years ago. I have a stump at the second joint. I relearned trigger control. I've been airbrushing for 30 years. I retire a while back. But still can airbrush. I mean fine detail. And I still have my Olympos Micron, Iwata Microns and picked up the Harder & Steenbeck Infinity CR Plus Two in One to play.
I have this brush. I did find my finger and hand cramping up. I’m a beginner airbrusher,and painting models. If I totally relax,and relax my hand and finger, the brush is fabulous 🍺🍺🍻
I totally understand where your coming from alot of people are selling them off because of the trigger that's why I did this video today
Nice easy fix for the people that sit over the front of the trigger 👍 it's a cracking airbrush that's why I got one
H&S were awesome and sent me a Giraldez trigger with a standard Infinity top on it. I got the 2024 Evo a couple of weeks back and immediately tried this...I am now patiently waiting for the 2024 spare ro become available!😂
I've been pestering H&S for half of last year to make the Cult of Paint Infinity Trigger as an accessory, they finally said they will be doing so at some point this year, that's the trigger I'll be putting in the Giraldez. BTW you pronounce Giraldez with an H, Hiraldez, cool video again

So i love the airbrush but just hated the trigger , i ised it for months but then shaved the trigger down , then ultimately changed it out for a regular H and S trigger........sooooo much better.......however i cant wait til the 2024 triggers become available as i will be changing all my triggers to those on all my H and S airbrushes.........awesome video Rob
Does the Evo 2024 trigger fit on Infinity, so it solves the trigger inconsistancy problems with the old airbrushes?
Great fix for those who need it Rob, fortunately I use mine without problem. You do realise poor old H&S will be swamped with orders for the eco 2024 trigger😂
It looks like the Ultra 2024 also has the same trigger. I don't have one to check so I'm not sure
Wow .3 really good price 64.00 dollars put the smallest cup I wonder if H&S 3 mm cup fits or just get the cup off the.2 möbius but I am curious about H&S you should try it like you did on the iwata t
Dred! Does the trigger top come off like it does on the infinity. If it does couldn’t just take it of rotate and put back in. Remember you saying it was a 2 piece trigger on the infinity.
Not sure on this one wouldn't want to try it as the evolution fits straight in

Thought I'd let you know.. the infinity and Giraldez trigger hats do come off I've done that hack myself. The trigger hat fixes to the stem with a pin with a notched end that helps adhesion. So if you try to take it apart it will be 50/50 you might break the pin if the adhesive has worked well. I got mine apart by getting the trigger hat to turn inside the stem first on the infinity trigger, if you can't get it to turn then leave it alone else the pin will break inside the stem.. How do I know.. Cos I've done that as well on the Giraldez trigger.. lol Luckily I managed to grip the pin with some pliers and pull it out. In any case, it does the job but it would be better to wait and upgrade with the new Evo trigger.

You don't need a hack on the 2024 it's spot on it really is 😊

Yes I agree Iwata micron T may be the best but geezz that price here in the states is crazy ok what is happening with H&S 2024 infinity? Could that be brush of the year?

Well on your review I am in the Gaahleri line to start with Swallow tail, 98D, and just ordered the.2 mobious remember I’ll be 70 yrs old I am one of those artists draw and paint with or without a reference since I was 6 years old had some of my paintings stolen painted more houses than I can count , my first project is a Santa’s Sleigh porcelain already primed in garage with lacquer
Don’t worry I got the steel Pace booth and vented it though wall making entire bedroom a hobby studio should be finished in a day or so watching all airbrush videos I also like the Art Workshop,Barbatos Rex and yours I think Gaahleri is going to to be up there top tier but Ian like everyone else wanting H&S,Iwata but removing the cup you can add small amounts of paint directly into the airbrush for visibility. Really good idea 👍 can’t wait to try that one

Mister Robert, that original trigger is fit for a fakir. talking from experience, and no, I am no Fakir. Its sad that they try to make you use the trigger like that guy giraldez...a mistake. Have you watch that guy painting? Its not normal.
Will that trigger also fit the old Evo?
Should do as the body size on the Giraldez is the same in size as the old evo
