Pulling an M47 and all the manual bits has to be one of THE WORST things to tackle in a 240.
You did it on the ground. Keep on keepin on bud!
volvos are like the easiest car to pull trannies out of tho
when you get ur turbo going good and everything you might end up wanting a t5 trans but good to get it setup for the m47 for now
While the trans is out, might as well replace the reverse light switch that's on top of it. It's a pita to get to with it in the car
You need to also take off the rear axle, the ratio is different from the automatic and the standard.

since you have to change rear ends might as well do an 8.8 swap. you would be in a true tank then!
