My family and I are so grateful that I get to do this.
Crafsman, can you show us how to solder different animal parts together without cooking them?
The dirty paper towel water lookin doin trick is definitely the best name for a trick I’ve ever heard. Great vid!
Stephen Cayce Glad I saw it written down. I missed a few of the adjectives.
LOL! ;) Glad you like that. That's what happens when I have to name a trick on the spot. Thank you for watching!
T-SHIRT worthy, for sure! Love it! More CrafsMan-isms' than you can shake a stick at! The next is as great as the last!
i died =)))
Funniest thing ive heard in a hot minute thanks Crafsman!
You are my inspiration. I am a special needs teacher and I show my kids your videos to inspire their creativity . Thank you Craft Man !
This means so much to me, Jessica. Thank you for sharing my videos. I hope your students enjoy them! :D
Yay learning
Beautiful
You are an inspiration yourself Jessica!
That is amazing
One of my favorite things about the Crafsman is when it sounds like he's about to bust out a technical term but then busts out "dirty paper towel water lookin' doin' trick."
Your mic sounds just a good as it always does.
LOL! I'm glad you like my little terminology! :D Thank you for watching!
Nacthem 5:50
TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin u sound like one of those people who say “lemme bust some truth on you” and it’s great
"You don't need to use nasty water, you can use regular water too"
I like it 😃
Where the heat go, the silver flow! Perfect sentence for a Crafsman tee shirt.
I agree! 😃 id definitely buy that
Oh Snap, I need that shirt.
Hey Crafsman, let's get us some shirts with some Crafsman lookin things on it!
Yeah, I'd buy that.
:) Y'all bigtime make me smile. I've been wanting to do some t-shirts, but quality ones are expensive. Checked out some reviews of the print-on-demand services, and that's got me hesitant to go that route. Haven't given up on it yet - just want to find a service I can feel good about.
Sold my screen-printing equipment a while back, or might would make some ourselves. :)
Love this little guy! If his legs articulated he'd make a great character in a stop motion project! Great work mate!
Dave, from Granite Valley even now, he can waddle around and be cute!
Glad you like him! :D It would be interesting to do a little hobble/bobble walk animation with him. Would be tricky, but could turn out neat. May try that. Thank you for watching!
He would
*Dies of how adorable that robot is despite having a saw for a hand*
Nah relax. It's just a pizza cutter.
:D Glad you like how the robot turned out!
I WAS tempted to make a "determined" facial expression for him, but combined with that saw-hand, it may have looked too sinister. :/
It's a small world fred.
Just means his hugs are even softer 😌
@@TheCrafsMan noooo, it's really cool and at the same time it's adorable!!
The crafsman is Bob Ross 2:
✅Soft and gentle voice
✅makes awesome stuff
✅fun to watch even if you don’t paint/build
Craftsman, you gotta stop pulling me at the heartstrings!
Aww, man! My bad! ;)
Thank you for watching!
I want to add that little guy to Fallout... he'd make an awesome companion. I'd name him Scrappy. He always lookin for a scrap.
Ha! Thank you, Hexx!
Hexx Bombastus that’s cool
Plz someone make this a fallout 4 mod!!
I think he would be a replacement for daisy in goodneighbour just for junk
Maybe even a version of that robot from borderlands
Having a bad day at work and just went to break. See Crafsman video, and watch. Yeah, not having a bad day anymore. :) Thanks for being awesome Crafsman!
Just like that our day got better.
Wow. Y'all are so kind. Can't tell y'all enough how much I appreciate things like this.
i feel this shit heavy my man
ditto
I smile every time the Crafsman puts up a new video. This is the most humbled and personable crafting channel on youtube.
Thanks Crafsman!
Very kind of you, Tony. I appreciate that so much.
Crafsman! I have to wait to watch, I have no reception at the hospital, my wife and I brought a life into the world today!
Congratulations!
Congrats
How'd that happen?
Keep steady craftin!! That AWESOME congrats!
Congarats! That's the best crafting you could do.
Who the heck is giving this guy thumbs down? Even when he's not doing it the right way he says he's probably not doing it the right way. Most humble and laid back guy on youtube.
Such a cool looking character, I like the lil graspy hand. Reminds me of that movie nine
Glad you like how he turned out! :D
"Dirty paper towel water lookin' doin' trick" - the Crafsman
LOVE IT!!!
Thanks, Aimee! :D Hope y'all are doing well, my friend! ;)
The little robo-buddy is adorable! Looks like something straight out of a professional stop-motion movie set.
Just found you today on UA-cam. Binge watched all. Genius. You are the new Bob Ross! LOL! Be patient and enjoy what you do is what you teach here. Keep up the great work!
Mike, I'm so glad you found my channel! Thank you for watching my videos, and taking a moment to leave a very encouraging comment. Please continue to hang with me, and feel free to share your feedback as I try to get better at this. :D
I was smiling the entire time, but when you pointed out he needed a saw blade and a pirate hook I belly laughed out loud and scared my cat. Thank you for that so much!! This is another great video! I think I may have to break out my soldering stuff soon! I have lots of little metal things hanging around my garage that need to be joined!
My artistic friend over here! :D I laughed out loud about you laughing out loud! (I know how cats react to things. :D) Happy you enjoyed this! And so now you're saying you not only paint beautifully, but you ALSO solder?!? :D If you do a video, make sure I see it, please. thecrafsman@gmail.com
You playing with all those pieces made me think of this:
Albert Einstein quote. "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution."
I like that quote myself! I use it to let myself off the hook for not having been the best academic student. I was the one sketching some idea, or off in another world (in my mind). :) Thank you for reminding me of this quote!
❤️ Here’s to living life “off the hook”!
Skipping to how the face was created........MINDBLOWN!!!!!
There's no LED used.....just WOW!
Simple things can be amazing with just the right ideas
Needs an award for one of the best voices of all time. I found the channel by accident and I love the work . So. Cool!
Crafsman, the robot "arms" that you found are for mounting a sewing machine into a table, so the machine can tilt back and get access to the bottom. Another great video!
THAT'S IT!!!!! I was trying to remember where these came from, and that is absolutely it! THANK YOU, KEVIN! As soon as you said "sewing machine", my mind rewound to the time/place I got these. :D Thank you for watching!
Your humor is so subtle it makes it funnier. Your videos are great man.
I love it when I find channels like this. Just pure gems of entertainment from a thing I would never even know to search for.
Never really seen videos for This type of artwork and let me tell you, I’m glad i clicked on your video, the shots and your voice make it so much enjoyable. Keep doing what your doing, this is some amazing artwork!
Esto es un poco de todo : miren a este hombre crear un robot
CrafsMan Is Simply Awesome. Knows his stuff! I'm learning a ton from you, CrafsMan, and I'm really hard-headed! The "dirty paper towel water lookin doin trick" is standard procedure for me now! Thanks!
That little robot probably got so many cool stories to tell.
"CrafsMan, you sloppy, I can seal this all the way 100 times better than that!" "Prolly so."
"Alright so this is what we're lookin at"
I was in constant suspense about hearing about a soundcloud. Silky voice, man. I need to hear you say "and check out my mixtape".
I think this was my favorite so far. It brought back happy memories when I was a kid, hanging out with my Dad in his garage, we'd make all sorts of stuff.
What a special memory, and great comment. :) Thank you for sharing. So glad my little videos can help bring back some sweet memories.
I love your creativity! You can look at something that some people think is useless junk, but to you, it's robot arms or a spaceship, or whatever. That happens when you have a mind that's always looking to create something. That's craftsman, and keep steady craftin that jawn.
I am so glad I found this dude! It is awesome to learn new stuff and get chilled out. Thank you.
Your narration is so calm and peaceful that I watch your videos to fall asleep, but your content is so interesting that I end up staying awake to see your work. Great channel!
Love the 'dirty wet paper towel looking trick'! That one trick answered a ton of my questions and saved me a bunch of money! Sending ya'll love, as always!
So glad to hear that, my friend! :D THANK YOU!
Crafsman, I gotta say, you are like a beautiful sunrise. With all the bad things going on in the US, I can always count on you to take my mind away from it all. I hope you never stop.
I wish you were my neighbor. I know we could have fun building things.
That little robot is absolutely awesome. And I love how you made the interchangeable face and hands. BRILLIANT!!!!!!
Wow. Phenomenal comment, Harold.
Please know, I treasure these words. I find myself saying that often, but I mean it every time. Thank you for taking a moment to really motivate me.
Also, I'm glad you enjoyed how the little robot turned out. :D
I have a new love!
Awwwwwww! :D
Wow I was not expecting the narration. Love it. 10/10. Subbed.
"And I've been wanting to do this for a while to show ya'll the possibilities of what you can do. Don't be afraid." ~The CrafsMan. People know you care about them. Because you really do care about them.
Geez the wholesomness of your videos always fills me with joy, after an entire day of dark themes and entertainment
UPDT?
You give me so much inspiration to do different things with my soldering skills... I'm a jeweler so I appreciate every time you post soldering stuff. Your channel is nice and calm... thanks craftsman. Show yourself I want to see who's talking... if you dont that's ok too... keep going dude
Very kind of you, Thom! And man, when I hear a jeweler is watching my videos, I kinda cringe because I KNOW y'all have some soldering skills. I've seen videos of jewelers doing fine silver soldering, with very neat joints. I'm over here slapping flux on and soldering all over the place. LOL!
@@TheCrafsMan give yourself more credit you do a fine job at soldering and it's not about how pretty it looks it's about what it makes you feel like. Obviously people like what you do so keep doing what you're doing and the trick with being a jeweler matter how much solder you put out there you could always file it off.
I'm content thinking me caftans face is like we see.
Crafman, I have been binge watching your videos for the past 48 hours lol. Just been sitting here molding casting and sculpting. I was told about your channel from Bob the mold guy. You are just awesome. I love your channel.
Crafman, my brother an I made orthodontic appliances for a long time. Lots of soldering involved. You know it never occurred to me to make tiny robots with all the scrap solder that I had. Thank you for the inspiration. I will make some toys for my nephew.
Thats awesome Craftsman! You total inspired me to make something like that for my kids. Love your channel so much.
Glad to hear it, Ryan! I'm sure your kids will enjoy what you make! :D Thank you for watching!
That's a scary robot man. I bet he's friendly though. It's really crazy how you can imagine these little bits and bobs as one big model. You're so creative!
Thanks, Nathan! As a kid, I felt like my always-thinking-of-something-to-build was a disadvantage. I didn't do the best in school. I got by, but I wasn't steady on the honor roll. :) I appreciate your comments.
Bees.
The Bob Ross of crafts. I love it!
i love your content man, you always put a smile on my face and keep me super interested,
i loved watching bob ross as a kid and you give me that vibe,
thankyou for being you
Wow. Humbling and encouraging comment. Thank you!
How have I only just found you? Outstanding videos, great teaching. Bob Ross's soothing voice has nothing on yours. ♡♡♡
I've been really into Star Wars figure kitbashes, dioramas, miniature anything, metal robots and creatures, claymation, and stop motion. There is literally all of that on your channel and it made my day. Honestly, this may be one of my favorite channels ever.
Great video. Your narrative makes the videos gold
Very kind of you. Thanks so much!
Mr. craft Man. You are the bomb! You inspire me and give me so many ideas.
That's mighty encouraging! Thank you for watching and, as always, for your kind words!
This has probably been said numerous times already on your other vids but YOU ARE the Bob Ross of crafting! This, like all your other vids, is awesome.
Craftsman, you have inspired me to become a better sculpter, felter and general crafter and artist and have shown me so many useful tricks to the point where I’m selling my own art at the age of 14 so thank you for inspiration over the last 5 years :)
Show us your parts bin! I'm sure it full of all kinds of interesting parts and pieces.
:) I might need to do a "shop tour" one of these days. Got so many little odds and ends in boxes, drawers, on shelves, etc... :)
OmG I love him so much! he needs a name, I suggest Crafyboi. Crafyboi is helpful tells great jokes and gives excellent hugs!
L O L ! ! ! ! ! I LIKE THAT!
This little guy is so beyond adorable!! I’m in love with him! I love the contrast of the computer face with the old dingy metal, it really adds character to him!! The video was super informative too, without being just a straight-up tutorial! Keep up the awesome work!!
THANK YOU! I'm a big fan of mixing slick/fancy with old/rustified, so I'm glad when someone else picks up on that! :)
He's top heavy in all the best ways. Crafs man I don't even solder or plan to I just watch these because you are entertaining in a strange way!!!!
He's definitely more heavy up top - you're right about that! I like the contrast, but really he should probably have a base to be soldered to. :D Thanks so much for watching!
another toy to sell out in 5 minutes. :) very cool!
:) Thanks, Jeff!
Jeff Moore what you mean sell out?
@@xyoungdipsetx he meaning that people are going to buy it. I would if i found this robot thing in a shop, it looks so cool.
theCrafsman I love robots! I have one I built over 9 years ago. His name is Gizmo. He's about 5 foot 8 inches tall. He has 6 d.c. motors. His body and head are made from plastic trash cans. He looks like a big toy from 1960's.
For real?!? Wow! I'd like to see that!
thecrafsman@gmail.com
@@TheCrafsMan I'll have to get on my computer and cut and paste a link to a picture and info about Gizmo. He's on a website called Alphdrome home of the robots. If your in a hurry maybe try Megastellar and Gizmo the Robot search on that site or Google.
@@TheCrafsMan type in Megastellar+Gizmo the Robot into Google and a result will show My robot Gizmo and a couple of pictures of a silver Robot. That's him!
@@matturban9103 cool robot man! I looked it up on Google (:

I like how the face can be changed with the magnets!!, this turned out great!! Your workshop is a dream factory!😀

I came across this by chance, and I watched through the whole thing all excited. This was so cute and genuine and soothing. You're like Bob Ross of small mechanical things, but even more chill than he was. I love that!!!
I cannot watch this enough. It gets better every time! Thank you.
I tried checking amazon for nasty water but they didnt have any :(
LOL! Might have to look at eBay. :)
Do you want to make a cast and sell these? I'll buy one CrafsMan!
Also a great idea, id get me one for sure
Sold me!!!
Thank y'all for the interest! This one would be tricky to make a mold of. :/
@@TheCrafsMan Maybe you want to make a robot that might be easier to make, but just as unique and adorable.
As a robot artist myself, I absolutely LOVE this build. In fact, it's probably my favorite.
Honestly this little robot could be the main character of a little game where you explore a little broken world and I’d 100% play it
Like asmr😂
Like si bienes de parte de un poco de todo
I like the way you speak. It is relaxing to listen to after a busy day. And the robot is great.

I can hear you just fine while you're wearing the respirator. Props to you for using one, definitely worth it!
Off hand I know that 3M makes some with a some type of valve that helps improve voice clarity but to be honest I wouldn't of known you were wearing one until ya mentioned it.
I love this! So happy I found your channel. It's so relaxing to listen to you.

Never in my life have I ever left a comment on You Tube, but your beautiful and comforting tutorial compelled me to say...thank you CrafsMan, my daughters and I will get to soldering toute de suite. You have inspired us. You are a gift to the world!
your wife, kids and grandkids if you have any are so lucky to have you in they life still and thanks for spreading your ideas out I hope at least one of your younger picked up on the craftman bug..
Finding your channel was such a delight. Looking forward to more videos! Learned so much- that solder trick is priceless.
This is is so wholesome! I've been messing around with oxy-acetylene welding but I can only work with steel. This video showed me how I can work with other materials, Thanks for making this.
I love this robot to pieces; thank you for making such fab things in such an informative way!
You've got such a good eye for art and design. It's incredible. So glad this platform exists to show your talents.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. I'm also grateful for this platform. I never would have imagined so many of y'all would appreciate my little videos. :)
So glad I found your channel. You surely are an artist. Thanks for the little opportunities to escape.
My favorite you tube channel. You’re so clever and creative! You help inspire my own creativity.
Wow. Thank you so much for the super nice comment! Glad you like my videos!
Such an innocent face but oh so sharp hands...
I love it!
Thanks! I liked the idea of just putting a simple/cute face on old post-apocalyptic lookin body. :)
I love him! It is so much fun to watch your creative process.
By far one of my favorite diy videos on UA-cam! Keep up the good work
I absolutely love all of your videos! It’s fascinating to see your creative process, like how you try out different pieces and parts as you are designing. Thanks for setting a great example for staying calm and taking the time to get things just right without getting frustrated. You’re the best CrafsMan!
Christiane (pretty name!), I appreciate that so much! Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much for your help to inspire me out of my years long artist block! Your videos are magnificent!👍☺️
He's beautiful Crafsman! Thank you for keeping on making videos. Your voice, positivity and little friends always help brighten even my darkest days. Does lil crafsbot have a name?
Very nice of you, Cornelius! Thanks so much! I didn't come up with a name yet. :)
yeah, I shouldn't have been watching this in the library. When the music played after the oil can piece caught fire....DEAD... I almost fell out of my chair. I love this so much.
Crafsman, I was watchin' this old video, wearin' my Crafnation shirt, tryna do some soldering... I do sometime miss this sim-plicity of the video. Honey, you ain't gotta kill yo'self for every video. We love this mess right here.
