So happy I found you on UA-cam, I love the way you talk about what your thinking and while you paint. I do that all the time too, if anyone heard me talk to myself the way I do when I paint, the guys in the white jackets would be called LOL. Look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work!
Thank you Christine, I don’t yet seem to find enough time for sharing so much to UA-cam, but we have a podcast called Art Juice which you may enjoy listening to. You can find it in all podcast places, and here in iTunes podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/art-juice/id1451530001
the second picture reminds me w tarner you have very correct perception of colous good pomposition and you work in the right dimensions of camvas ...what else .. bravo!!!
@@phillymendelson4528 hi! It’s a silicone cooking scraper OR a wallpaper spreader! (I don’t remember what I used in this video… I use lots from DIY shops) . I run a membership called Connected Artist Club, which is more about mindset and growing your business… I don’t do art making workshops as such - partly because the way I work is always developing and I feel I’m just always experimenting!
Absolutely love your paintings! The gorgeous colours just wake up all of your senses. Can I just ask a basic question? what is the spray that you used to dilute the paint on canvas? Is it airbrush medium?
aquaerduo it’s just water. Now I use GAC 100 to loosen the paint while I’m mixing and I’d like to try airbrush medium.... but I haven’t ordered any yet!
This was a wooden panel, so it’s fairly heavy and doesn’t move. But it works the same with canvas - there are just a row of screws in the wall. My house is old brick so this is a false wall built out on plywood and battens.
Beautiful love these colors gorgeous. Thx for sharing ❤
I LOVE your style!

thank you Alice for this video. I will look forward to seeing the completed paintings.
Love the beginning of a painting
Yes, so exciting. I don’t find it nerve racking anymore so it definitely gets easier!

Thanks Alice for posting this. Looking forward to seeing the progression and (so called) solution of these works!!
Christine Barkway thanks, they have changed already and of course I forgot to set the camera up!
Awesome dear.....
Awesome stuff...
Hi Alice. Beautiful work - thank you for sharing. Might I ask what the red "scraper" is? Do you have classes or retreats anywhere?

@@AliceSheridanStudio Thank you....I totally get that! I know there are no short cuts to developing my style but I'm starting QUITE late in life!

hello whats the spacing for the nails on your wall? i love that idea.
I would like to know this too!
What do you use to hang the canvas on the wall to keep it from shifting while you paint?
This was a wooden panel, so it’s fairly heavy and doesn’t move. But it works the same with canvas - there are just a row of screws in the wall. My house is old brick so this is a false wall built out on plywood and battens.
Hi Alice are you working on ply board or canvas .?
This one was a cradled panel - now I’m working on canvas at larger sizes
Nice work.Do you use oil paint or acrylic ?
what is that big tool that looks like a palette knife?
I think it’s a wallpaper smoother… not sure - I use all sorts of things ☺️
@@AliceSheridanStudio oh wow thank you so much ☺
Dommage de faire une vidéo si rapide.Superbes tableaux !
This is the first video that I have watched and am assuming you are painting with acrylics. Am I right?
Carolyn Bridgers Reed yes, These days I always use acrylics - the drying time helps me work spontaneously and I can build layers.
Seeing them finished would
SPOIL THINGS ?
Lol.
Martin Hasson good because they are still not finished!! 😳
C est igniot de faire des vidéos en accéléré pourtant beaucoup d artistes font des vidéos dans la normalité
Ridicule de faire une vidéo avec tant de rapidité il ne faut pas se mettre c est plus simple
Cant see a thing. You are standing in front of what u r doing
Would have enjoyed watching if it wasn't for the very VERY annoying and invasive music.
Xavier Ghazi yes, there is a limit on royalty free music! I wanted something fast, but I guess it’s a personal choice.
Personally, I liked the music and thought it added a degree of pace and dynamism that echoed the bold painting style... we’re all different😊
Lovely
