My stream always stays on preparing when I start it and its hard to even get it to work because it always says can not connect to the server and I'm on the ps4

Its most likely a delay in connection to the RTMP server for Twitch.... This happens to me at times too. I wouldn't worry to much about it unless it stay lagged in the beginning for a long time 💪

So I have a massive problem in my stream. A few of my friends unfortunately have the same problem. This is my main YT account because I don't want anyone to see my stream name talking about this. Unfortunately it is the kind of problem that you do NOT want to bring attention to. Twitch / Twitch Support won't respond to us, so I am taking drastic measures. @@Wild4 So basically there is someone creating and verifying hundreds of Twitch accounts, all with racist/offensive names, and spamming racist and threatening messages in my chat every time I go live. Several of my friends have this issue as well. It's very obviously the same person. The most we can do is put it in follow only mode and put on a chat delay. Then we have to make sure we catch his message and clear chat before chat sees it. Normally when my friends stream, I am sitting there watching their follow pages on auto refresh to /ban all of this person's accounts. We can't raid at the end of streams because he follows into the next stream to torment them as well. We have tried to contact Twitch / Twitch Support and they won't even respond. Unfortunately we have run out of ideas. I am hoping someone might be able to help out. Btw, he doesn't just use specific terms. Otherwise Nightbot and other chat mods would catch his messages. He mispells words or just straight up threatens. Thank you so much for your almost immediate response! Hopefully we can band together to fix this issue!
If I'm coming across some connection issues when using streamyards, what would you recommend as a way to troubleshoot that, does an ethernet cable work well or is it morso about properly using the right export or broadcast setting? What would you recommend? I streamed to UA-cam on one video and one to Twitter/Twitch/UA-cam on the next. The one with fewer locations ran smoother, thoughts? I do actually love stream yards and am brand new to it, that's why I wanted to get as much info as possible. Currently I've only done the two tests but am really excited to learning more about stream yards
Sometimes you will have to figure out what works best for you. I would say set your broadcast settings to the highest you think your internet will allow. Then do a few test streams to make sure you aren't getting any resolution issues and move on from there. Hope this helps!
So I got stream labs obs and everything working great I’m streaming to Xbox so I window capture the app which streams my Xbox so the audio is 100% fine but the screen has 70-100% frame skips :( and it barely moves
What about when it comes to streaming from a console? I always having trouble streaming from my ps4 it would usually last up to 20 - 40 minutes at times and then all the sudden it stops streaming it. When I stream again it takes 5 minutes to stream and then stops streaming. I don't know what to do
I don’t have any things for streaming yet so I just do it straight off twitch for Xbox because I don’t have a good desktop yet >_< does this still work for that
It won't but the good news is that all the console apps will pretty much take care of everything for you. So if you have decent internet you are good to go 💪

I know you mainly focus on streaming and of course i love your videos and they have really helped me but i was wondering if you knew anything about the problem i am currently having on here. Whenever i upload a video i set it to public but it keeps setting itself to private and i cant make it public. I have been onto youtube on twitter as that seems to be the only way to contact them and all i got back was they are aware of the problem, i have asked them for updates on the situation and have just been completely ignored, do you have any idea whats going on?
@@Wild4 i have already checked that and it is set to public, it seems to be a problem affecting some youtubers, basically when i upload a video, before publishing it everything looks good, as soon as i publish it, i get a yellow bar at the top saying this video is set to private, set it to public or unlisted for others to see your video, so if i then go back in and edit it and set it to public or unlisted it shows the yellow bar but if i set it to private then it says it is private and gives me the link to share it, im guessing because it is only affecting a small amount of youtubers they are just going to take longer to get around to fixing it, which is a shame because i was finally picking up some momentum on my channel and growing fast, but if its not sorted soon i will move over to twitch and stick to live streaming

Hey bro so I just got a PC and trying to figure out my bit rate to stream. I got my elgato cap card and got that running perfect with my stream. but for my pc games I can't get a smooth running game. my download speed is 422mbps and my upload is around 22.34. Can you help me out what bit rate I should be running for a smooth stream?
How important is ping to streaming? I am using a mobile hotspot (Thats the best I can get for a while) at about 30 mbs up and down but I have absolutely terrible ping, something in high 80s. I have tried streaming with this before, and honestly it was okay, but over all, how important is ping?

I went to another channel and used their recommended settings and my bitrate was set at 2500 because the twitch max is around 3500.. Now after this video, I see that its showing stable at 5,800 bitrate so I need to bump that up.. I'm having an issue where the beginning of my stream will be fine, then as the stream goes on, my audio and video become out of sync.. You'll hear me speak, and then the video falls behind it. I've asked people who watch and they are saying its fine when they see it but This is what I am seeing when i rewatch my streams to check how they looked. I'm not sure if the bitrate change will help, but if you have any other tips or suggestions I'd appreciate it! This is my only issue left and I've been looking for videos and cannot find anything on how to fix this. Really hope you see this video. Thanks for always having the answers!!

Also now my bitrate is showing as “ excellent “ while streaming.. so I rewatched the stream and it seems out of sync the entire time. I’m not sure if maybe it’s just showing that way when I rewatch it? Because whenever I explain the issue I’m seeing to people watching me, they express that it’s showing fine :(. I just want to fix the quality so I can work on more things to get my stream going. Have you ever encountered this problem?
Whatever changes to the settings I make my stream lags a little bit, you can check my livestream in my channel, ignore my voice I made the video before you made the video on why you aren't getting viewers

I also had that problem, go to stream manager then press the little pencil in the top left corner next to stream manager. On the right hand side there is a bunch of options including "stream health". Then there is the link that he said to click on, its at the bottom right under frame rate
how much mb upload do you actually need to have a stable 720p 30fps and how much do you actually need for a 1080p 60fps stream? because no one really tells me how much

Slobs will sometimes drop 1000s of frames when I first initialize the stream. I don't know why

On your computer you can use PS4 Remote Play and StreamLabs OBS to broadcast better from the PS4.

My stream lags even if I have a good download and upload speed. Download speed 300 Mbs, Upload 12 Mbs and ping 7 ms. Does anyone know why.

Sounds like your PC can't keep up with that it has to encode.... double check your settings and see where it is stressing.
I have 100mbps upload speed and 500 download but on SLOBS or OBS I highly get 500kbps... its is too annoying!

Try using this ( inspector.twitch.tv/#// ) link your account and you should be good.

Go into your settings - you most likely have it set to be auto private when you load a video

30 should be more than enough - most stream at 3kbs :)

Generally this is a issue of frame dropping and taxing your comp too much... see what your CPU is at and frames are at when it happens

Most likely your CPU and GPU can't keep up - hence the lag issue.
