For me it's when he broke out the calculator I knew this was gonna be for optimum results. Joking aside thanks I learned something here today.
This has been the BEST video I’ve seen on this I’ve spent so much time getting this figured out!! I’m subscribing and recommending this video to others who are struggling
music producer/composer here. thanks so much for this. I am new to streaming on Twitch and lag in video but sound is great. will try these setting out. peace from Japan.
What can i say?Finished my first stream and it was amazing.Everything was smhoot with my 0.4 upload internet!Thx man
Glad to hear it man
Thank you so much ive just done these settings and im testing soon.
Foxy thank you for the amazing video!
I want to ask you about the video tab, if I finna with Bicubic downscale filter it will be better than Lanczos in matter of internet connection?
Also about the 60vs30 fps, is it really matters? I have a good pc but bad internet (100mb/3mb)
and about output preset Quality is it impact the stream quality in matter of internet speed?
Thanks! (:
FINALLY!! Good lord.. I have spent nearly two weeks trying to find this out and make it work. Too many go with several other ways and they never worked for me. Yours did... at least for a bit. But I do know this is much better results than how it was before. Thanks a lot, man. ^w^
Doing a test so far and it’s only going well pray that this continues for me on my journey thanks fr my guy 🙏🏽
Exactly what I've been looking for! Thank you so much! Wish me luck for my 1st live mix (Coming soon I hope) This video earned a Sub
Thank you so muchh!! Before i cant even stream now it works too well. Im sooo happy😊😊😊
Just tweeted this video.
Thank you a ton for the help.
this helped so much thank you
Thanks bro it's helped me alot now I am able to stream. 🥺
Thanks bro 🤜 love you and I subscribed to ur channel..
This is very useful, and I appreciate it.
Very good explanation man! I always thought it wouldn’t make any sense to stream with an upload speed below 4 mbps. Often times I have more but sometimes my internet slows down to 3 mbps for some reason and I avoided streaming in this case.. until NOW
I wish i could stream, but i have 500kbps(its download btw), so i cand play a game and have a stream open without stutter
500kbps? NAHH WTF 💀Where you from?@@nobrainfound
Gotta try this later. I somehow messed up with my settings or maybe my ISP is screwing over us again with bad connections.
Thanks man! Very well made video.
Thank you!
Thank you so much i can actually stream again after a whole year
Thanks!
Very helpful ty

Haven't went live yet but I followed your instructions and seems like you are a magician
Let me know how it went 😁
thanks dude
Great video. Thank you so much. I’ll stream and my ping will go to 300 and after these settings stays the same but no lag no skipping. Subscriber earner
You can try to game on 4g ans stream using your Internet in that case
@@FoxyUA-camGamerwhat does that mean? May you out time in comment
@edgarhigareda2022 what are your streams about?
@@FoxyUA-camGamer I just need to stream when I play wager matches or tournaments so if they ever need to go back to footage they can see
aycho bro 🤜
hello foxy i did follow your step settings obs setting for slow internet is it normal that there is unstable bit rate happen
First of all. Thank you so much for your sharing.
I have a question with streaming on youtube.
The OBS keeping in green light but youtube is lagged very much.
How to solve this lagging issue?
i m alsi hvng same prblm
Well my CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Will it do good for my PC? or should i use Encoder as Graphic Card?
My graphic card is RX 470 as Encoder shows it in OBS as H264/AVC Encoder (AMD Advanced Media Framework)
And upload speed is 4.88 mbit
According to your upload calculations, I've chosen H264, 1080 resolution, VBR, Bitrare 2800 and Max Bitrate 4600
PC components would mybe add 0.1% to your upload. It all depends on your ISP provider and where you live. I have the same issue, I have 3.5 upload but its impossible for me to get more because of where I live.
My internet is download 21 - 25 and upload is only 1.5 can I do anything to stop my stream being blurry ?
Foxy I need your help man. I got a 4070ti GPU and a Ryzen 9 7900 for my CPU. I have almost 400 mbps download and have 12 mbps upload and I keep my bitrate down to 2000 and when I run my tests it instantly turns red and says my network is my problem. I hard reset my WiFi through my PC and it worked perfectly fine for a couple days and it went back to choppy, laggy, and freezing stream. I’m lost man and watched hrs of YT videos and nothing has worked.
What OBS version are you using? Mine is the latest and it does not show MAX BITRATE and ENFORCE STREAMING SERVICE ENCODER SETTINGS as it shows on 4:45
Change your rate control to VBR
@@kinqszn3993 I have done that but it still doesn’t show
How did you get the like button to glow up right as you said it in the video? That was pretty cool!
Excellent guide, thanks very much.
How do these twitch streamers have high upload speed? I cant even get anything above 3 because where I live. GTX 1050Ti is extremely old tho. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 so it would be x264 for me. What do you do for Audio bitrate? keep it the same as your output?
it’s just they have insane internet . probably connected through ethernet to their PC and have 1gb upload speeds .
Respect (i am from tunis too)
Brother can u make a video for a laptop obs live streaming setting
tounsi habibi
same here
I have 5 upload can i stream 1080p ?
this guy know what he's talking about, didnt try it yet but i already trust him
Let me know how it went 😁
Every time I stream on the lowest setting I have high ping in game any fix?
do you have a vid for streamlabs ? and thanx man
Hey!
It's the same settings for streamlabs obs. But, in the output options you'll have to chose "advanced" to be able to see all the settings.
Please help me , What is the Best valós for me, my upload internet speed is 37 mbit. Thank U!
Can I stream with 1289x720 with 2mbps Sir
Thank You
Could you make updated version?
It's streaming in 360p without any lag and high ping but is there any method to increasing a little bit quality
you can try increasing the bitrate little by little until it is acceptable to increase the resolution. But it's important to manage your expectations when doing this
Should i go to 720p cause my max bitrate is 1520 or should i go somewhere in between
i think 720p with 30fps, ur stream should run smooth and honestly 30fps is a great start, then see if ur internet can handle 60fps cuz it really is taxing on your internet but if u stream games with high movement like val, apex, fort, might be best to see if u can handle 60. But honestly streams at 720p 30fps is solid
Could someone explain this to me a little more my upload speed is 163.72 Im not really understanding if thats the right thing.
Means you can go hard in the paint
Thanks but i cannot find the max/min bit rate
What about replay buffer???
W mans
Hey so I followed your steps but the quality is bad what do I do?
Thats the point, its meant to make it worse but easier for your internet to run the stream
can you explain the calculations you made, I don't quite get it, my upload is 15,61 mb
Same.. I'm so confused. Mine is 11.60 but according to his method I need to insert 11 600 like huh...
@@kawaiichibi_75 yeah i paused the video right after that lol. theres no way affiliates (im affiliated) or those who aren't yet have access to such high bitrate. Twitch prioritizes twitch partners, and even so they usually stream 8,000 bitrate. Theres no way I can run 22,000 bitrate lol. I dont believe most people can
@@jiiva. Twitch doesnt let you for more than 8 MBPS...thats true. U can just go for 1800 to 3500. Thats good enough for streaming. Viewers usually dont complain coz of a 720p 30 fps stream.
i dont understand, i have very good internet, but i can only stream on 400 kbs?
if i dont work in suing for false advertisement, when i gte done ill let yk how it went
i have 6 upload and 9 ping and 19 downloads when i stream my ping 1000 please help
it says my upload speed is at 11.85 Mbps ... so multiply that by 1000?
idk nothing works for me im lagging in game and my stream is choppy
im going to try it, my stream lags so bad and my upload is only 22
Do you mean 22 mb or 0.22 mb
Mine is 0.46, should i even try? :)
there was 5 videos i could have watched on this topic, I clicked on this one because you ripped my name off :p
Hahaha, oh no! You have found out about me! 😄
Start watching on min 2:00 ... if u do not wanna waste yr time.
Legend.
What do you do if you have no MAX BITRATE option?
Change your rate control to VBR
@@kinqszn3993 mine is the same it doesn't show even if it's in vbr
@@aijoyiee same
This works for me with youtube, not twitch
kolna naaniw ya sahbi tahya TT
why is my download 16.58 and upload 1.20 but its still horrible?
Bro whenever i stream the stream always like on 0.50x speed
My problem is my Internet only slows down when i start to stream to 0.22mps up
everything I have seen says to use CBR for Twitch
grettings to monastir, tunisia
sahaaaa
Im not understanding why you times by 1000? Where did the 1000 come from?
To convert between KB and MB
@@FoxyUA-camGamer ok i see it now
@@Oquirrh glad to be of help 😀
My upload speed is 6.15. What should my bitrate be?
5000-6000 will do you well honestly I’d Recommend 5000-5500 because you don’t want to have it too high just in case the speed fluctuates a little
@@floffy3905 yea my wifi seems to fluctuate from 6 to almost 10.1. What should i do in that situation?
@@Scarpia9111 I sent a response a bit ago but it didn't come through my bad. anyways Id recommend streaming 720p at 60fps at 4500 bitrate. or 1080p at 30fps at also 4500 bitrates. these both are very high quality to look at but not too demanding for the viewers internet connection and also both will work perfectly on your internet

LVED BRO
Chnou sera9? chaandi sra9t
I woupd change my wifi but my dad aint here to cuange the plan so i cant do anything because its his name in the contract.
you live in North Africa?
Yes! I live in Tunisia! It's a beautiful country :)
Still doesn't work. Watched your previous tutorial and assumed some things have changed since then, but even with this one a lot of the settings you are using in ouput settings even in advanced aren't even there. Like "enforce streaming service encoder settings". Not there
The main thing to focus on is bitrate and resolution.
Take your upload speed in megabits (for example 0.8) and then multiply it by 1000 (800 bits) and match up the resolution with the bitrate. (Anything below 1000 bits, you better stick with 480p, Anything from 1000 to 3000 or more stick with 720p 30 fps)
Hope this helps
@@FoxyUA-camGamer It definitely worked, but facecam quality and video quality are crap and my upload speed is also under one meg, but it looks like crap. You can't even make out the details on my face 😂
@@mackay700 hahaha, I get you bro..
I mean that's the best your internet connection can do, all we did was make sure you squeezed every last bit of Internet your internet could muster...
Streaming audio and just your desktop would be the best you can do with that quality. If not, you can play games but the quality will suffer
When I set vbr I cannot see max bitrate it's just pop out crf :|
Vbr is variable bitrate. So when you assign a bitrate for it, it will keep it around that range.
Put the average. [(Your maximum bitrate + your minimum bitrate) / 2]
@@FoxyUA-camGamer It is also useful for recording? because I don't like streaming I use to make record for content
@@davidtimeworld3905 Yes! VBR is good for recording. I like it because I find it is easier on the hardware than, say, CBR.
Variable bitrate is variable, thus easier on the hardware and more lenient. CBR is constant, and more strict, so it might cause lag while recording.
That's my opinion, mate!
Good luck 👍🏼
Thanks, I'ma test it out 😁
We need a updated one bro, there isn't a max bitrate option anymore
Okay I will do an updated one
Late to responding but if you put VBR as rate control then it will come up as max bitrate.
Bro I got a 0.24 😢
What if my bitrate is over 10K?
Well, this is made for low internet purposes... but if this still works, if you want to apply it just stick with 3500 bitrate and 720p resolution if you are not a Twitch partner. Since none twitch partners are not allowed downscaling (if the people watching you do not have a good enough internet and you stream at 1080p, it will lag for them)
If you're twitch partner then stream 4000 bitrate or 8000 bitrate at 1080p, the highest bitrate gives you the best quality)
@@FoxyUA-camGamer thanks. 🙏
👍👍👍
Viva La Tunisie Telecom (Rabi y5alles w7alna)
sooo you want me to multiply my 25 upload speed by 1000 ?????? doesn’t seem to make sense
The video is meant for people with slow Internet. 25Mb upload speed is not slow my g.
Use 3000 bitrate and 720p resolution.
Or 6000 bitrate and 1080p resolution. (I would advise 3000 bitrate so viewers with slow Internet could watch you without lag, since Twitch doesn't offer compression for all streams)
bruh obs you're using is really outdated half options arent even there like on your video

Try lowering max bitrate

My WiFi is still to bad
My upload speed is 0.1
1:30 seconds into the video and have seen nothihng but ads and asked to like something we haven't even consumed.
I don't think this is the right video content for me.
ahaha. My upload is 15, so apparently my bitrate needs to be 15k... Ion know about that.
The tutorial was made for low Internet people. But it can still work for you.
If you put your bitrate at 15k, your viewers will not be able to watch it. So put it at something reasonable. Everyone has at least 3000 bits of download. So you can do 3000 bitrate at 720p or 4000 at 1080 p
@@FoxyUA-camGamer Thanks! before reading this i knocked it down to 8000, will try 4000! I've been dropping frames a lot at 2500, so that's why i looked here for help!
@@JockyCGE glad to be of help mate!
Let me know how it went
@@FoxyUA-camGamer Immediately dropped 12k frames. Went a bit lower than 2500 and dropped 1000 in 2 hours so i think that's the best I'll get until I'm able to connect a router directly to my pc.
@@JockyCGE try adding a delay to your stream. Maybe that helps. Also, if your GPU is better than your CPU (faster at encoding) use it instead.
Let me know how this goes as well. I'm invested at this point 😂
