After binging several of your videos, I decided to name my beautiful new kitty Penelope, and of course I call her Pipi. Love your videos of your family life.
@@mexipatti aww i'm going to tell Penélope. She Will be so happy
The little boy teaching Chrisiano! So sweet! 💓
Thank you for sharing your life. You are so sweet and can tell you dearly love your family. God always blesses the women who nutures and cares for their family. You are worth more than gold 😊
The question popped in my mind as you mentioned making lunches for the kindergarten children, “how do you know if any child has an allergy to a certain food?” But then as I continued watching, I saw that other moms participate and so that answered my question. You communicate and interact with the parents so I’m sure they would have told you who mine have an allergy. That’s so cool how everyone is involved. That’s almost similar to Project Head Start. They hire a volunteer to go serve lunches. They come in, walk over to the cafeteria, lunch in served in the trays and the trays are placed in a special cart and rolled over into the classroom. You had a very busy day that day for sure. ❤️
Your husband should bring you back home a really nice 3 wheeler bike with a big basket in the back!!! 😍
Those are cheaper to buy in Mexico. It would cost more in the US plus you'd have to pay for shipping
Electric too!!😊❤
That's a great idea
I'm an English teacher in Mexico you can find a really reasonable course on group on for about 20 or 30 dollars USD I highly recommend taking the 120 hour TEFL course. Becoming a teacher lol IS a process! A TEFL course prepares you with the basics but it's not going to teach you everything. I'm a really good teacher now after 5 years but it's a process but an extremely rewarding one. I never thought in a million years I'd be a teacher (I hated school) I'm so glad I did it. You'd be an amazing teacher!
Thank you for sharing!! I love it.
Se mira que haces todas las cosas con mucho cariño y las disfrutas haciéndolas para tu familia aunqu batalles para hacerlas en el rancho y se mira que viven muy feliz en Jalisco
Your videos are inspiring me to move to Mexico. My husband has a rancho in Michoacán and I have just retired and my 4 children and grandchildren are here in California. I have visited there and I loved how life is so peaceful there. Thank you for sharing your days ❤
Erin you sure get your steps in daily . Thats alot of walking back and forth you do. The things we do for the people we love❤
Injoy watching those family videos Don't be Dumb hit the Thumb for this wonderful family support them on there journey.
Hello everyone from las Vegas 🎲🎰💕
Erin, you should sell Merch! Tshirts, coffee mugs or sweatshirts with
🌮 = “So Good!” 😊
I’d totally buy some!
I commented about a week ago about how your videos are special. I think they are special because they are so real and you show real everyday life ! I literally used to watch all the Housewive shows on Bravo etc.My boys said why do watch those they are so fake ? Out of the mouths of children they were absolutely correct! You keep doing real because that is what is special!
She is the real deal, I have had the pleasure in meeting her in person and hanging out with her and her kiddos in the rancho. She’s truly awesome!!
Hello from San Antonio Texas! Married for 19 yrs, mom of 3 adults here!
Love Love Love your beautiful family! Can we get a “get ready with me” makeup video? What products do you use? You always have the most beautiful makeup & hair!
Hi ! Thank you for watching :) I would love to do that.
Your rancho in Mexico is so beautiful 😍
Your family is so beautiful ❤❤❤ blessings for you and your family🙏🙏
Erin, I feel you are doing an amazing job keeping up with the animals, and the kids. Thank you for sharing it with is. Dont let negative comments and people’s opiniones get to you. Unfortunately its part of social media. Keep shining☀️😎 God Bless
Every time I go to my mother-in-law in Poncitlan Jalisco I always see two or three wild horses passing by my in-laws house they are so beautiful ❤
I love poncitlan we used to go to the Mercado ( I'm from tecualtitan) right next door. We always gor chocomol and my grandpa used to get coctel de camaron by the railroad tracks 😢 his in haven now but my memories of those time make me happy
LOL "I don't want to be the chisme!" hahaha aww you are doing amazing in an environment that you did not grow up in! I so happy you have that support with these ladies! I love you vlogs! Que Disito te bendiga!
😂😂😂 The chisme! I love it and I know exactly what you’re talking about!
You remind me so much of myself when you eat your own food. I grew up on an American processed food diet and never had home cooked food. After I married my husband I started learning to cook and now when I eat my food I’m still in shock that I actually made it. 😂😂 I am so thankful my children are going to have home cooked meals instead of the way I was raised. ❤ May God bless you all.

Good morning Greetings from Tennessee, United States, and may the almighty God keep you and bless you always. Cheer up.
What a beautiful family and having you in our country is an honor.
YES! The chocolate milk in Mexico is so different compared to the U.S. I prefer the "choco milk", it is so delicious! I miss the queso de mesa, and all the food in general. The food is more fresh and less processed if you are from the rancho. Disfruta todo y aprovechalo 🤗
God bless you and your beautiful family. I really enjoy your videos. They are so real, from the heart.
Hello from Wisconsin! I’m originally from a border town in Texas, El Paso to be exact, born and raised with Cd Juarez just a a few steps away. Then went to live in Phx, Az for 25 yrs and now I’m up here in WI. I really didn’t have family in Mx so besides going to Juarez with my grandparents to buy produce, the barbershop for my grandpa and all my male cousins, and a treat at the end of a street vendor selling flautas that was my only experience. Until I married my ex husband then originally from Juarez with a ton of family there. I immediately fell in love with the culture, the simple way of life. It takes a lot of courage to move there and you make look so simple and I have really enjoyed watching your videos! I don’t know how I came across them but I’m glad I did! ❤
Hi Erin Blessings from Canada. Just wanted to say that God knows your heart and how much you love horses, I will pray that God will bless your family with a horse. Also, don't worry if you don't have time to boil your tomatoe, in Guerrero we make our tomato sauce with raw tomatoes, garlic, a piece of onion a touch of Cummins and Knorr tomate which already has chicken flavour. to start your blender, just add a bit of water to keep the blender going, then pour the sauce over the fried rice and cook it just the way you did the puree. When the rice is dried, or the water completely evaporates, you add the water and continue cooking as you usually do and voila! you have sopa de arroz delicious. For the chocomilk, to have that smooth foamy texture they use a special chocomilera blender, a retro blender. and also whay you mentioned they use a different ingredients. that our regular chocolate milkshake. But I know that whatever you lunch ladies prepare will be delicious.
Thank you for taking us along in your lovely rancho.
Sending hugs and many blessings.
Oh, I thought you would show us how to make the chocolate milk. Next time?
Wow Erin you have adapt well. Mexico moms in the rancho have busy crazy mornings. Proud of you lady. Lovely family love all the love you give to the animals. 🐶🐐, 🐣, 🐓saludos 🫶🏻
Hello beautiful ❤️ God bless you and your beautiful family
I'm new. Just found your channel. Enjoyed the content and the rancho does look peaceful and inviting. I get a real sense of community. Something that's lacking in the USA.
It's such an awesome community you guys live in. I love how the mommies take turns on lunch duties 🙌🤙 you did great, Erin, and kudos to your mother-in-law and the other mommies for helping you!
Good morning from Australia, Erin. I have no clue how I came across your channel but I’m so glad I did. Your family is beautiful, and I love how your faith shines through. Thank you for sparking my interest in another culture. I’ve travelled to the US many times and have loved it, but now I have my sights set on Mexico. God bless.
Hi ! Thank you for watching :) Have a blessed day.
I just discovered your vlogs and I enjoy them so much ...btw I noticed your cutting board slides around when you cut onions etc...get a dishtowel and wet it then ring it out put it under your cutting board this should stop it from sliding
Omg i love you guy’s videos im also from over there im from a little ranchito very close to Ocotlan it’s called los sauces , where you guys from
You had a busy day 😊
Wow. What an adventures day. Saving little ducks, setting rat traps. Hopefully it all works out with the baby ducks.
You teaching English would be a great thing for your students.
They’d learn perfect pronunciation , grammar etc. it’s a win, win, win for everyone.
I think you should do that if you have the time of course.
Thanks for sharing your busy day , and see you in the next one,
Your videos are reminding me of when I lived in Brazil with my two little girls and husband, and how hard it felt to acclimate sometimes. Whenever my daughter's school would host parties and ask for parents to bring certain foods, I always opted for fresh fruit because I was so intimidated! Always such a relief to find the one parent who speaks a little English, too. We lived there for just three years, and it would mentally drain me everyday trying to communicate and mirror the culture!
I agree it can be draining trying to communicate. I do try I even have an app to practice at home and everyone is so kind with me.
WoW!!!
Beautiful sunset!!
Your Rancho is so beautiful!
Again thank you for sharing ❤
Looks like you really enjoyed cooking for your kids taking care of them, good for you.
Can you share how you made the chocolate milk? Also, I bought a tshirt, the “you had me at tacos” and I love it, I wish y’all could come up with a tshirt that has something with “siesta” on it. I enjoy your vlogs.
Im exhausted just watching your video

You’re such a great hard working woman, and looks like you so busy! 👏🏼 you have so beautiful kids. 😊 love watch your videos!
Where's the protein both lunches all carbs . The pancakes could have included an egg on the side and instead of chocolate milk maybe a banana smoothie. Well just a suggestion
I see how you keep your fabulous figure - you are running around all day!!
Love your videos ❤ you are such a great mom ❤
Absolutely love watching your videos! It reminds me of when I studied in Mexico. I love it! I truly see the difference and the beauty of the ranchos and wish I could go back and live there. It’s such a different life one that I loved so much!! God bless you all! 💕
Now that you know how to make good chocomilk, you have to teach us how to make it 😊😊

Thank you so much for sharing your family, your recipes and your beautiful rancho. I always look forward to seeing your videos. ❤❤❤
The Chocomilk taste better with blended frozen strawberries and the rice tasted better with boiled eggs aside.
Greetings Family
Hello Erin, hope you are enjoying your day. I love your vlogs. Your animals are precious sending hugs to you and your family🤗❤
Thank you so much! Have a blessed day ! Wait until you see the baby ducks 💖 just hatched all the way a couple minutes ago
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico aww can’t wait to see them🙏🏼
Next time with that rice. To make it heavier in nutrition.. boil eggs . Hard boil... sliced 2 / 3 eggs person on each plate and warm tortillas 😋😋😋😋😋
Love your love. For all nature ❤
Hello from San Antonio Tx or south of it. Lol. I’ve been looking forward to your next video. Can’t wait to see the one where your hubby arrives. Love seeing/hearing your kiddos speak Spanish to Abelita!

Ohhh man! Can't wait to see baby ducklings!
Have you tried enjitomatadas yet? They are amazing.
I’ve never heard anybody compare the taste of a tuna to a sweet cucumber. I would compare more to a dragon fruit or a kiwi with seeds. The white and yellow tunas are my favorite.
My goodness gracious you have busy morning ❤ love your video soooo much! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻🥰 I really wish I could visit you and experience it 😊 your amazing and your family!! May God Bless you all ❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
¡OMG! Absoluto beautiful thumb-nail. Gorgeous photo. 😍
Just a question ❓ I wanted to know why don't the kids just take a lunch to school? Just wondering I think it's great you take them to school and make their lunches. Great video
I’m new to your channel. My family lives in Texas. The food y’all eat always looks delish. Have you ever shown how to make the thin red salsa for the tacos. I have always wanted to learn how to make it. Thanks!
So enjoyable
Wait no shame but did you leave the little one home alone to take the other kids to school or are there other people at the rancho who live with you??? Beautiful fam ❤❤❤
Well, you could hear an adult female talking in the background, so at a wild guess, yes.
And there is a woman walking through the house behind her at about the 10 .minute mark.
Saludos 🎉😢
Hello from new york
Have Family around Tulcingo
Hi ❤ thanks for watching have a blessed day
Buenos Dias, Has the horse come back to your house?
Hello!…from California❤
Welcome!! 🤗 Have a blessed day
Add chopped onion and celery when frying your rice and I use 8 ounces of tomato sauce after my rice is toasted brown. I let the rice fry until it’s almost dry, then I add my water with Knorr and let the rice boil. Once it boils I put it down to simmer. So delicious!
that sounds so good ! I will try that next time. Thank you for watching have a blessed day
my husband is from Mexico too and we love watching your family. You are such a great Mom and your kids are very respectful and loving towards each other. God Bless!
Your Rancho is a good size place , very nice. From The Hig Desert, between Los ANGELES AND VEGAS, very hot during summer, so thar raspado looked very good to me. Saludos to you and your family ❤
Are any of your children left handed, like you, Erin?
You dont have to boil the tomatoes b4 blending to make the tomato salsa
🙏🙏
Tuna is Mexican kiwis ❤
“Mexican kiwis” 😂😂😂WTH
@@LauraHernandez-ux2ic idk why but that's what they remind me of even though they taste nothing like them 🤣
Do wash the rice?
También puedes echarle plátano al arroz y aguacate te queda delicioso saludos hermosa mamá todo por sus hijos
🇲🇽👏👏👏👏👏👍
What is a swaga ? How do you make the Mexican chocolate milk please ?
Suegra? Means mother-in-law
Does anyone know the name of the hot dog dish toward the end? They look amazing and I want to make them.
When does school end for the kids for summer break?
Ese rancho es la labor vieja
Do you have appliances like washer , dryer, fridge, coffee maker, etc? Does his mom live with you?
Yep all of those plus instapots, ninjas, vitamix....it is uncommon to have dryer simply because our clothes dry quickly in this climate.....that's his mom's house so technically she lives with her MIL but MIL lives and works in the US.
Ive been watching your channel for awhile . What do the locals think about the New Women president in Mexico?
The only change that I can see is that she is a woman, Jewish, and a SOCIALIST, not much change 😅😅
Probably theat she is a WOMAN JEWISH ANDA SOCIALIST. 😅😅😅
Buy some cats to eat the rats and therefore no rattlesnakes. ❤
Don't the kids get bored with eating the same food day in day out ??😮😂
If they pay you as a teacher do it.dont do it for free .english Jobs in México shold be pay well.
Your just worried about the whole Quince in general party for 1 she hasn't been Baptist , second she hasnt received her communion, theres a 3rd but I don't remember at the moment
My daughter is baptized. She was baptized last summer on her own free will because she has built a relationship with the lord. She was baptized in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirt. Her blessings come straight from the Lord and the day of her quince will be to celebrate her life and the same Lord of the catholic church has given her that life. Blessings will be prayed over her life, and they will come from the most high God.. Have a blessed day.

Ok. I love you sooooooo much. !!!!!!!!!!!But please learn how to say Rancho in Spanish correctly. You have lived there long enough. I follow you and your family but seriously you have lived there long enough to have learned most of the language even if not your first language. I live in New Mexico , born in Texas and even Mexican immigrants I know have learned English in a year. I’m glad your husband is coming home. Stop making excuses please and learn the language your children are bilingual. You should be as well. Glad Lalo will be there to help now . Sending you all love and look forward to seeing more content. ❤
Also please stop putting so much stress on Lalo to get a horse. I have one. They cost money and maintenance. Wait till God gives you the right horse and things get settled. I can tell when the subject comes up it causes stress in his face. Let Lalo get settled back in. He needs to enjoy you and the kids first. Everything else will fall into place. ❤
Youve stated your not Catholic so why have a Quice when you can have a simple sweet 16 because a Quice takes alot of steps that's related to the Catholic Church
NOT TRUE. My sister did a quince for my niece and we re not religious, we did not included the church stuff and it was beautiful.
Baby talking your children can slow down their speech development. And I noticed that both of your daughters have speech delays. Especially your youngest one. I don't understand why you baby talk to your children? 😢
