Hello from Texas! Wow I can't believe I have missed your videos. Really enjoyed it and love how you expressed yourself about organizing the quinceanera. Wish you the best. ❤
When I saw OUR LADY, I COULD NOT STOP CRYING, IT BROUGHT BACK SO , SO MANY BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO, IT TOUCHED MY HEART, ABSOLUTELY ❤❤❤
Your story about Google translate is so true. I'm so happy our kids are bilingual and can help us translate when it's really important. Good luck with the quincenera! They are so much fun!
@@touchoflighthomesteadmexico sorry for butting in but since you mentioned about being nervous about milking goats, wanted to let you know that the channel "Weed 'em & Reap" has a course to teach how to raise and milk them. They are amazing to their goats.
@@karenmorales882we actually watched them when they first started that was one of the vlogs that inspired us to start homesteading. Thanks for watching saludos 👋
Lost in translation is REAL....And when you're learning a new language, mistakes are inevitable. One time in was trying to say my dog was a scaredy cat and I called him a shitty cat 😂😂😂...they burst out laughing and I got home and checked in with Google translate. Good memories though. Saludos desde Tlaxcala
Praying that the quince planning goes smoothly for you! My daughter is only 6 so I have u til she’s 18 to plan her Debut. (Filipino tradition when they turn 18) 😊
Loved seeing all the horses and cowboys and girls! So fun! Those slushies looked so delicious! I’m sure everything will work out just fine and Abigail will have a beautiful quincenera! Thank you for showing all the beautiful traditions and things in Mexico! I never knew about the cabalgatas!
Her husband works very hard as well. He helps workers everyday to build their new home, and he does tons of work on the farm and welding jobs they equally work hard to me.
I have several cousins from Michigan…our dad’s side of the family, they all originated from Texas and have relatives from Mexico, specifically Reynosa and Monterey. It sure was nice seeing your mom and sister visiting…they reminded me of my cousins, especially their lingo and northern accent 🙏❤️ They know we from Texas say that…they tell us we’re the Hey Y’all….lol
Me da mucho gusto que el malentendido con la señora se haya aclarado a tiempo, ahora si, a poner toda la carne en asador para tener lista la fiesta, muchos saludos! 21:41 esa puesta de sol al fondo 😮 and yummy at the end
I know the text in your videos, doesn't always translate correctly. Which is ok. But when you were describing the horses, instead of buck, it says f**k. Im not mad about it lol I just thought I'd let you know in case you hadn't seen it 😊 I love your video ❤ You have a beautiful family. You are so blessed ❤
You should have your husband go with you and help translate. The things you do needs his help on the Ranch, especially with animals. Your always non stop, u need a break.
Absolutely love your videos ❤ u have a beautiful family😊 i love animals. I grew up on a farm. I miss it so much. Someday i will have more than a cat. The food in Mexico looks so good. I have been to San Juan but only to board a cruise ship. Someday i hope to visit Mexico ❤ from Michigan 😊
Someone else suggested padrinos/madrinas for the Quince. I think that’s a good idea. In our small Mexican town it’s very common to have padrinos/madrinas for different parts of the fiesta. There will be a padrino/madrina del pastel, padrinos de la música, de las mesas, de las bebidas, comida, etc. I’ve been madrina del vestido y la misa, y madrina de las fotos/video. At the party or sometime shortly after, the quinceañera and her parents would gift each set of padrinos a nice gift basket, maybe with fruits, pan dulce, chocolate or something like that. I think it’s a lovely tradition, helps spread out the costs and strengthens community ties with all those padrinos, madrinas y compadres/comadres. 😊❤😊 I’m already saving up for a quinceañera dress 4 years from now for an 11 yr old family friend who asked me to be her madrina del vestido. 😊
Hi I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERNS FOR YOUR GIRL15 PARTY ASK TO THE PEOPLE IN YOUR COMMUNITY MAYBE YOUR KIDS TEACHER OR THAT LADY OF THE DECORATIONS CAN HELP YOU TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE PEOPLE THAT CAN PROVIDE YOU THE SERVICES THAT YOU NEED BECAUSE PARTY COORDINATORS JUST IN BIG CITIES BUT IF THERES NOBODY SURE I CAN TRY TO HELP YOU EVEN IM NOT THERE RIGTH NOW BUT FOR SURE I CAN GUIDE YOU SO PLEASE ANY THING LET ME KNOW TO HELP YOU GET EVERYTHING READY FOR YOUR PARTY GOOD LUCK WITH ALL THAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH ENJOY MEXICO
My daughter’s quince is before your daughters and we still don’t know if and what we’ll do. I’m completely overwhelmed by it. We did go to Guadalajara last October to look for dresses downtown and I was so overwhelmed with how expensive the dresses are. I can’t imagine hiring a planner only to find out it was only for decorations. Poor dear. Wish we lived closer and could help each other out. But I’m not sure I’d be that much help but having a friend to go through it with would be comforting. My daughter in law always rents tables and table coverings for my grandchildren’s birthday parties. Even that is scary to me lol 😂
You’re doing great! Don’t worry everything will be fine. I had one when I was a young girl., not because I wanted one but because it was expected. At the time I had a “boyfriend “ and he refused to go. My parents picked a family friend for my escort so I was miserable. We had over 500 in attendance and it was overwhelming for a 15 year old . I’m so happy that your daughter wants one and isn’t having one just because she has to. Praying for all of y’all and I can’t wait to see the end result. ( side note: I married the stubborn guy that refused to go and he regrets it till this day) 😊😊
Pues eso si tiene razón son muchas cosas para hacer una fiesta pero la quinceañera tiene que tener sus padrinos de arreglos de salón de iglesia vestido musica y así saldrá mejor para lo más caro tienen que ser 3 padrinos como para la música
Is your suegra assisting you with the planning? If not, maybe you need a pair of those translator earphones that are new. Or, just use Google translate and it can read it out loud for you. 😊Things will work out. ❤
I enjoy your videos. I lived in Mexico for a while and really miss it. I don’t know if you can go back and edit this but instead of the subtitle saying buck skin it says “f_ - k” skin. I know it is just a typo, but thought you might want to fix it.
Slushies are “ raspados” im sure you know that. While different parts of Mexico call certain things by different names. I believe raspados is used through out the country. From the north all the way down south. What Virgin was being celebrated ? Looks you and your family had a very full day of fun and adventure.
I understand you, I don't speak English and I use the translator to give you comments, I imagine that maybe it says things that are not understood, I would really like to know how to speak English to teach you Spanish, but I know that you are going to learn it, I already heard you I talked about it the other day in another video and I see that it is progressing, just practice it a little more, remember that practice makes perfect, you are a great person.
No it's not your fault. In America a party planner is in charge of all that. Why would we hire to pay decorators as Americans we usually do that. Guess they operate differently lol.
Good video! As a side note the translations are gonna get the Grammar Police on your case... lol its really goofing off when you tried to describe the buckskin horses and what not
Hahaha I seen that. I think I need a new translation app. The one I have really isn't working out great. I need to look into it more. Thank you for watching blessings to you and your family
I hope you don’t mind a gentle suggestion related to Spanish. Remember that “ll” in Spanish is pronounced like “y”. So “calle” is pronounced ka-yay (no L sound). 😊
I hope I didn’t make you feel bad by my comment. I love that you include Spanish words in your dialogue, and I know you are going to steadily improve in your Spanish. Never give up! When I was learning, I always asked people to correct me, but most didn’t because they were afraid of offending me or being rude. Even my Mexican husband wouldn’t correct me. Finally my young adult stepsons did (because I kept telling them I WANTED to be corrected) and that helped so much. Finally my husband also got on board and will correct me. I started learning Spanish 40 years ago and I’m completely fluent, as comfortable in Spanish as in English, but I still make occasional mistakes. I still really appreciate being corrected, because that way I keep learning.
But she’s married, we need to be respectful, we don’t want her to close her channel because of this kind of comments, also sometimes her husbands reads and replies comments, with all due respect to you.
Omg I tried so hard to listen to you in the beginning. Your daughter was so funny and her face gestures. She tried to lasso you lol. Anyways quince is hard to plan. Good luck ❤
It's so funny about life she is so desperate begging for a horse this all this lady wants. And when I grew up as a child I had horses I never rode them didn't even like horses. Until finally my father just sold them . I never even went down to the stables. Such is life.
It's all over the news, americans are being unalived by Cartel wars. So i dont think none of us would risk going to mexico just for horses when we have them here.
Sometimes it’s just worse living in the USA with all the random shootings in schools, malls, supermarkets etc. and also another thing about the USA the food it’s all processed and full of hormones (that will kill us later in life) At least they’re having the time of their life ❤and living very healthy!

No te preocupes , la vida está llena de problemas pero de soluciones también .
You’re not wrong, that’s what a party planner there (like anywhere else) does. She is not an actually party planner.
