Ex Pat now in Arizona USA 🇺🇸 Had many old Landrovers back in the day. Bought a MY21 P400 SE X Dynamic. Never test drove it, just knew it was the bomb! Many Big Drivers here get literally blown away lol Just turned 70.. Tows our 3 horse trailer perfectly
How did you get on with the insurance claim on the m3 and would you recommend the insurer?
Seems to me like a lot of the hit on UK car prices is already priced in, things have generally been firm since the start of the year on cars I have been looking at

Defender in XS spec ticks all the import spec options and it's a damn sight less than £95k!
Your not bad at everything Becky. You're actually quite good at stuff. Frazer should have said that you use the same colour coolant to prevent it from mixing and causing it to turn brown.
Good that you got all the old coolant out first though to prevent it mixing and turning brown. 👍
For those who went hopping mad over you using the "wrong" coolant, maybe they need to remind themselves that the colour is just a dye and has no bearing on the formulation of the coolant. For instance, both Comma and Penrite manufacture Glysantin-licenced coolant. In fact, for the Glysantin G30 product, Comma G30 is pink but Penrite G30 is blue, despite being exactly the same product!

Wromg. It will turn the colour of the coolant brown.
Green + Red = Brown
When mixed together, green and red can make a variety of different shades of brown.

So, on the sound thing. I've never really noticed anything with yours till this video. Audio was fine in thw intro and bits outside the car/in your flat. But the bit with you and Fraser in the Defender it went a little..... Mono???..... Dunno, didn't sound the same. Probably wouldn't have noticed as much if you'd not mentioned anything..... But i can hear you guys, see you guys. Content is grate. This video was good and informative, hope you can keep these going. Just keep doing whatever you're doing Becky. £4k insurance!? Oof. I paid £650 for mine (via Elephant). I am older. Actually the car had to be returned due to issues and I'm looking for a replacement, but I left the policy active because it was such a good price, better to pay a £20 charge to change it and lose a few weeks of cover without a car than re-negotiate a good deal. That interior colour is much better than the standard black ones, just makes the interior feel bigger.

For the insurance try JLR as they are doing their own insurance, also have a look at the transit custom ms-rt double cab so so practical and I am sure Lenny from Urban would approve

Think the insurance issue is an issue still, I mean yes it’s a 90k car, but how dose that compare to insuring another 90k car such as a specced up grenadier or even a more expensive car such as a gwags? That’s where you start to see the issue.

I have looked at what Swedish Land Rover owners think about their cars. They think the big problems with Land Rover are quality problems and the overall economy.
It's never the right time to buy a Land Rover. Double the price of Toyota and a fraction of the reliability and long term quality. But they always look good. So they have that going for them.
Just can’t see the justification in that amount of cash for insurance of a daily vehicle. Fair enough for a special toy, but it’s not.

Great car! I’ve got a 7 seater 110. Love piling everyone in the back for a pub run or even sleeping in it at a push. D250 XDynamic is a good option. 4k insurance is ridiculous. Try Admiral or even JLRs own insurance (I heard they limited to 2k py).
Just bought a INEOS Grenadier 110 for £65,000 pounds with leather interior, I test drove a Landrover 110 and its cost was supposed to be £73,000 but insurance was £6225 fully comp due to it being easily stolen, The Grenadier insurance £819 Fully comp. WOW WOW WOW ,,, Buyer beware. Oh and there’s NO WAY i would let a Woman drive it…
