Stolas being more comfortable around/attracted to imps makes so much sense when you realize he was raised by them, spent all his time with them, and most of his positive experiences in life have revolved about the impish staff in his mansion. His infant nursemaid was an imp. The butler's an imp, the kitchen staff... Being around the other goetia must feel uncomfortable to someone who looks like them but is not like them at all.
It was shown also in Harvest Moon episode - Stolas was clearly excited talking about IMP festival, he even called Blitzø and his crew "just for fun/taking day off" not because he grew damn bored about festival
@@praescia I think it also comes down to personality type as well. Stolas is by nature a very kind person so that kindness was extended to imps as well, even if people tried to teach him otherwise
Also, I just noticed. Stolas looking at his phone to see pictures of Blitz looking annoyed and upset is such a good add on. Being that in the season finale Blitz looked at his phone and you see a picture that HE took with Stolas in bed smiling. Really shows how much he is actually hiding and struggling with showing he cares
When Stolas blocked Stella’s slap it really put things into perspective. He’s been waiting to do that for a while. The shock Stella has from this shows that this isn’t the first time she’s raised her hand to him- but the first time he stood up for himself
DEFINITELY! The moment I saw Stella, I knew she was trouble. Stolas did the right thing to get out of the situation. He's getting out of an abusive relationship that has happened for 17 long years. Seeing him become stronger within the final moment was a great move. I hope Octavia will take this opportunity to remain with her father.🥺
hey you notice it briefly but there was an imp that i think was blitz's sister she was the tight rope walker she was there for a second but you can tell it's her she has the same horns and mark on her head
Literally the only relationship Stolas has had where people haven't been taking advantage of him - is with his daughter. His father just needed an heir and a line of inheritance, Blitz was originally brought in to steal from him, Stella is only there for his money/power/to make an heir, Blitz reconnected with him to steal from him again - like omfg. No wonder Stolas has so much despair at the end of this episode.
At that point if I were Stolas, I would take my grimoire from blitzo and tell him that the deal is off....for good. And then I would proceed to call striker and offer him a much bigger sum of money to kill Stella but also conspire with striker to fake my own death so that I can escape to the living world with Octavia and start a new life and allow striker to get paid by Stella first before he kills her.
I think by the episode the sigh he gives is one that has some stress relief to it as well, a bit of exhausted pride that he actually stood up for what he wanted rather than being walked over again.
I love the detail that Stella is ALWAYS wearing her crown yet Stolas only wears his when he needs to. Just shows who really wants the power and who is somewhat humble here.
@Edsel Animations And they've had other special guest too. The guy who played Beetlejuice (i think the musical), the actress for Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug, the Norman Reedus of the Walking dead
- forgets name - shows a scary woman. - doesn't let his son cry. - takes him to the circus cuz he doesn't wanna deal with him.(And calls crying an ugly noise) - im so good at daddying - refuses to elaborate further - takes son to circus(even tho his obvious no at start)
Stolas isn't entitled, or feels superior to others. If he has, or is, then it's because he's been forced to think this way. Look at when he bowed to greet Blitz and his father hit him for it, sweetly revealing his true character. Stella is his antithesis. Stolas is capable of love, despite being a spawn of the Dork Lard. Or, is it the Dark Lord? Point is, he's starting to truly think for himself for the first time in his life. I suspect his abilities are key to his character. Like, he can see the stars. He is naturally prophetic, which I assume represents his growing ability to choose his own future. Even more poignant, he can rise above Hell and actually leave it. All brilliantly symbolic. I love a show that makes you think like this. This episode took you, pushed you into a deep hole and plummeted you down to entirely new levels of depth, ESPECIALLY as far as Stolas is concerned. I've watched it twice since I discovered it was available, a couple of hours ago. The song Stolas sings is exquisite. 😀
@@nikhilsinha7730 Literally superior? Totally. Figuratively superior? Now, that's debatable. Makes sense, since he has inner conflict. See? This is what I mean about how the show has you happily analysing it. And, they have given us much to ponder. The S02 premier has gone unexpectedly deeper, adding poignancy and true depth of character development to an entirely new level. It was a stroke of genius for the writers to fashion it this way. Think about it. S01 had only 8 episodes. From the pilot to S02 they have transformed Stolas. Actually, the pilot does a brilliant job of establishing the character dynamics, in only 11 minutes! Many people in the comments say they hated Stolas. Now, his popularity has soared. This is rare, especially in such a short time. This explains why it's worth looking for hidden metaphors and symbolism.
@@christophersanchez7731 Yes. It's subtle, but very telling. I love when Stella is screaming at Stolas, after she finds out about Blitz. She comes out with a brilliant line. "In a motel? Like a fucking plebeian?" Plebeian. Brilliant word for the writers to use, over using a modern, or crude term to say it. Actually, the fact that she thinks that way is the same reason why she shatters the glasses. 😜
Normally I’d say cheating is bad. In Stolas’ case is was the absolute pinnacle of morality. That [absolutely censored] of a ‘wife’ deserves everything she has coming.
so true, but in a way where it adds so much, Stolas has good articulation cos he's a prince, Blitz and Fizz, who are working kids and probs don't receive regular education are voiced by kid actors who still have lisps, i can't believe i've actually seen ppl say the voiceacting of the kids was bad when they probs just can't tell the difference between acting out emotions and articulation, which in great majority of cases is necessary for profesional VA to have perfect articulation, but not here, the kids sound exactly like irl kids sound like with subtle lisps that are probs near impossible to replicate by an adult VA
Seeing how uninvolved Stolas' father was, remembering he actually puts in the effort to learn Octavia's passions and be present in her life makes me smile.
Everyone's talking about Stolas growing up but seeing how emotionally manipulative Blitz's dad was really has things making a lot more sense for how he acts
Indeed. No wonder he has issues with respecting boundaries of others if his weren't either as a child. Plus acting like the future of the family relies on a kid is just going to destroy them.
The parallel of Stolas's dad taking him to the circus and not paying attention to how much Stolas isn't having fun, especially the little clapping while he watches. And then Stolas taking Octavia to LooLoo Land's clown thing doin the exact same thing.
But the intentions were definitely different. Stolas's dad just wanted him to stop crying. Stolas actually felt bad about the divorce for Octavia so he tried to do something nice.
I love that I learned to write in norse runes for school. It was my own form of short hand, lots of straight lines means faster writing, and I knew no one could copy me. But one of the BEST uses is that so much media uses it for "ancient" or "magical" writing, and I can read it. The book Stolas reads about Asmodean Crystals reads: "Bestowed to mainly succubi and incubi by the king sin of lust- these crytsals allow access to the mortal realm. Any hellborn posessing of a registered crystal may be granted a portal summons. It is common practice to have the crystal paired with another objest for convenience. Jewelry is the most popular option. This writing in runes shit was fun at first but I know I am def not doing it right and I should be spending more time with my friends and family."
Notice how Octavia and Stolas both had the experience of being miserable at the clown show while the dad is delighted and unaware of their child's misery
The difference is Stolas TOOK Octavia to Looloo land, because he wanted to spend time with her. Paimon SENT Stolas to Looloo land to get him out of his face
Makes me feel more likability towards Stolas, but I do still like Stella. I think it’s because she’s a tough stern woman and strong female characters are usually one of my favorites. Just like Loona.
"Don't you wanna help your Papa and Mama?" _thinks for a bit_ "Of course I want to help Mama!" This small interaction really shows Blitzo's relationship with his father.
That legit felt like 7 minutes. The song, the history, the backstory and the power in Stolas's voice. The fact that he confronted his foul wife without any swearing or even yelling, add that he didn't even sound angry, he just sounded bothered, and the fact that he won the fight and he did all that for his daughter Octavia... Stolas is a fucking built owl i'm telling you, he deserves the prince rank.
This epsiode shows Stolas as a nicer guy then most demons we have seen right behind Charlotte. He put up with so much just to give his daughter a good life and family that he did not have growing up.
Little Stolas bawling his eyes out after being shown the picture of Stella shattered my heart into little bits. Little man knew just from the picture that she was horrible.
You know, if she took a few seconds to think about it, she would realize the divorce would benefit her. I mean: She won't have to take as much, if any responsibility for a child she has yet to act like she cares about. She could hook up with someone who would be her definition of a good partner. She doesn't have to play pretend loving wife anymore. Really, the only downside for her is that she won't have someone just take the abuse. Seriously, how bad does a partner have to be to drive the other to take "happy pills" every morning?
I like how in this series they show the cruel side of a stolas first, but as more episodes went in you really start to see Who he is, its from being disconected to completley empatizing, you can see he cares for Blitz, he doesent just fuck him Cuz he's pretty but because he actually has a Bond with him and It fills a hole in his life, this is why i think he probablly knows of all that Blitz has done yet allows It and even gives him a helping hand
Seeing Stolas smiling when he saw his daughter was wholesome and heartwarming, shows that's the only good thing that happened in the arranged marriage. 💜💜💜
@@ur_crabmom Arranged marriages are forced ones. If a person's parents arranged a marriage for them as a young child with someone they know but don't love, and then they grow up and try to have a partner who is not the person their parents arranged them to marry and the parents get mad at them and try to force them to marry the other person,....that is still a forced marriage . Any marriage engagement that a parent does that is done without the offspring as an adults consent, then that is a forced engagement that will eventually lead to a forced marriage. No one, but a person's own self should decide who they marry. Only that person alone can decide who would be truly right for them.
21:09 "We are getting the DIVORCE!" I am proud of Stolas for standing up to Stella. No one deserves to be in an unhappy marriage, lacking love, whether arranged or not, especially if they are unhappy. The look on Stella's face when Stolas said he wanted a divorce was so satisfying to watch!
@Gr1fter i think its funny, because a shitty imp who lives in hell is willing to sell his son for a forced playdate , and mr.krabs sells his best worker soul for 62 cents...
his father isn't that bad, he noticed that Stolas liked Blitzo and was invested enough in not messing that up to even make the difference between fizz and Blitzo
Stolas endured years of abuse and torture and didn’t leave because of his daughter but still managed to stand up for himself at the end. What an amazing man and father
The fact when Stella attempted to strike Stolas, do you realize that he doesn't flinch and seems to have been expecting it. This hints that Stella has likely hit him before and the fact that he was with her for at least 17 or 18 years just for Octavia shows how much he truly cares for his daughter. Stolas is a truly amazing character
Well- that’s not exactly how it works; if somebody has been hit before, they’d flinch if someone looked like they were about to hit them. But I agree that it’s pretty cool that stolas stayed with her for his daughter, because even if she didn’t hit him, they argued a lot
@@Calylovespjo trauma responses are different for everyone. simply saying “that’s not how it works” then saying another situational response is also not how it works. i think it’s a given that one will flinch when someone expects to be hit at that very moment, but in stolas case i think the scene it’s a representation of when one decides to clap back, meaning yes, he expected it *but* didn’t flinch (not bc he hasn’t been hit before it is still v possible he has been physically harmed before) but bc he was tired of stella’s bs. y’a get ma drift? again, tho ur not wrong about if one has experienced being hit before, they most likely will flinch, it is also likely they may have the will to fight back causing them not to flinch. also this is random but ur username is amazing lmao 😌👌
I feel so bad for Stolas. He's such a kind person but almost nobody has actually, truly, WANTED him. Seeing that Blitzo didn't even *really* want him (at least at first), that the only reason why he even turned back was because of pity, is just so heartbreaking to me.
@@christianespinal9913 considering that this episode has aired I expect stolas to die soon because characters usually only get backstory if they are the main character or if they are about to die sooo
@@thefox7938 ooooooh in the wip trailer, there's a scene of a hand putting down a phone as rose petals dramatically fall, too. The hand seemed to be connected to an iv. Maybe it's Stolas' hand?

Was NOT expecting that much Stolas exposition. He felt like such a 2D character when the show first started, but he's gradually become one of my favourite characters with time
Well, that's typically what you do when introducing characters. You first establish what they'll typically be like, in Stolas's case, a thirsty aristocrat, and then open up more into why they are the way that they are.
The fact that Stolas was only acting kinky since the start of the show just because he assumed that was what Blitz wanted is both hilarious and so depressing.
Yeah, dishonesty in the bedroom can spiral out of control like that, especially because it can be difficult to course correct without fessing up to the original lie.
Stoles deserves so much. I hate how everyone basically hurt or used him. Blitz was manipulated to do so but not as a grown up I hate how he treats him he was crushing on him as a cute kid just damn…
I am in love with this series, but I am going to hate it if it ends with Stolas not being happy. He deserves the world and more for everything that he is. Though I hope it's happy with Blitz and Octavia--a new cannon pairing would likely just annoy a lot of people.
@@YaoiFan22 Yeah, but let's not forget the series takes place in hell. Everybody there inhabits the place for something bad they did when they were alive; hell is not a place where happiness is spread. Despite this, though, I totally feel bad for Stolas, after getting to know his past
I love the attention to detail that Blitzo snapped Stolas' neck around 180 degrees, but that Stolas is an owl and is perfectly able of having his neck rotate like that without getting hurt
My first impression of Stella was that she was just an angry wife that was mad at Stolas for cheating. But this shows she was always hateful and abusing him even before he cheated. Before this episode, I had hoped their relationship would get better as he’d realize Blitz was using him but Blitz definitely is starting to love him and from the information on this episode: Blitz was Stolas’s first crush AND friend.
As the series progressed, Stella became less of an angry wife and more of a bitter shrew. She’s cruel, disrespectful and would most definitely OD on the amount of chill pills needed to be prescribed to her.
Not going to lie I kind of wanted some nuance I mean I love the fact that they had those moments as kids cuz it was cute as all get at but for one I wish they didn't I wish they were strangers cuz it means them starting out that way like we initially thought and then trying to continue on normal relationship or building up to one I thought it would have been more meaningful especially a hell of a lot more Rocky not to mention I kind of thought stole this was older anyway the other thing would be that Stella always being a b**** it just feels very one note I get there in hell and wrath is a sin that I'm sure a lot of demons would have but it would have been more interesting if she was just a distant irritated chick who wasn't happy that she was forced to be in a relationship like stolas and be more reserved from trying to connect a relationship with thus creating tension when it was already strained from the beginning that made her resentful
No wonder why Stolas took Octavia to Loo Loo Land when she was upset, he was probably raised to believe that the circus cheered up sad children by his father, except Stolas genuinely wanted his daughter to be happy and not just to pacify her.
@@icoleman150 even being proved more by the picture of stolas, stella, and octavia in the background with octavia being like “WOOHOO” and looking very cheerful and even jumping up and down
His father didn’t know how to comfort children, but he tried anyway in his own way. he could’ve left and let the servants deal with it but, he didn’t he took him to the circus because he wanted him to be happy.
I love that stolas even admits he would've felt bad for the affair, and I genuinely believe that. Out of all the cast he seems the most empathetic and 'human' of them all.
@@Legionnaire_625 I wouldn't say so. Moxxie has killed many people, and Stolas seems to be more pacifistic, such as when Blitz told him he was in a murder business, he recoiled in discomfort, and when Blitz, Loona, Moxxie and Millie needed saving, he never killed a single human even then. I'd say this puts Stolas a bit higher than Moxxie.
@@rentor9230 I don't know about that. In the first episode, Moxxie hesitated to kill regular family. Who later turned out to be complete psychopaths but it is what it is.
To be honest, Stolas at this age is really cute. But now I have a reason to like him like this more--the fact they hired an actual child actor to voice him, instead of like, a fully grown woman or Bryce Pinkham himself to voice Stolas.
I love the parallel of Stolas’ father taking Stolas to the circus, and then him going on to take Octavia to Loo Loo Land. In both cases the father is the only one actually enjoying it.
I'm so happy Stolas stood up for himself. The incoming slap made me worry, and I kind of wonder if Stella has hit him before (I wouldn't be surprised). This entire episode was beyond worth the wait. The horny shift had me dead 💀
If she's comfortable throwing things around the palace that almost hit Stolas, I wouldn't be surprised if she hit him at least once or twice. Cause like, Stolas has good reflexes but it just seems like he knew that slap was coming for a different reason.
@Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer I'd say more neglectful than abusive. He didn't even know his name! Since it'd implied that he "sleeps" around a lot with different ppl i can also see where stolas got his hypersexuality. Poor bird.
When you’re basically in Stolas’ position it really hits hard. The pains of being a hopeless romantic. He was unhappy for so long, finally felt it with Blitz, basically ruined his reputation even more for him- and yet he’s in an even worse position now than before he met Blitz again. I hope he gets some closure and doesn’t get murdered by his wife. Lol.
The fact that Stella was talking about how Stolas just looks at the wall in bed and then contrasting it with Stolas' excitement to sleep with Blitzø is so funny to me
Looking back on the previous season and seeing how Stolas treated Octavia makes me appreciate their relationship so much more after this episode. Knowing that Stolas had a terrible father and seeing the way he was treated, I’m glad he didn’t repeat the same mistakes his father made. You can say a lot of things about Stolas’s character, but no one can deny that he’s a great dad that’s just trying to do his best.
I find it interesting that Frizzarolli is shown to actually be quite mellow for an imp, due to his distaste for blood as a child, it's uncommon for the antagonist to be shown with less violent tendencies than the protagonists
This series just keeps getting better and better. And I love Stollas' development. He really has gone from a supporting charcater to one of the main highlights of the show. And cheers to the poor Owlguy for finally taking a stand.
Seeing Stolas's and Blitz's friendship when they were kids is sad knowing what would happen. Can't wait to see what this season has planned for them. Same with Blitz and Fizz.
This episode just makes me want to give Stolas the most genuine, comforting hug. He’s been surrounded by toxicity since day one and needs just a single true friend in his life.
@@natiee. Los que hacen el doblaje en Latino (Funianime, en X) sólo confirmaron la 1era tempoada ☹️.. Así que, tendríamos que esperar a que se termine la 2da para q la puedan doblar completa 💔💔💔😭
What makes me love Stolas's character even more is the fact that he doesnt want to hurt Stella despite her treating him awfully basically his entire life and it was shown in episode 6 what hes capable of
what you should ask yourself is why the fuck did the butler have a condom in the first place. Like what? was he gonna fuck some Clussy or what? He was in a circus after all xD
The fact Stolas knew he did his part in the arranged marriage made an impact since it was only for a child to be born, and now he is free. I just wish Blitzo would be able to move past his trauma, and see Stolas as someone he can love and trust since they are a good pair despite the negatives , especially when compared to Stolas's ex wife. I mean she tried to have him killed, and based on the photo shown of her as a child she was bound to be an abusive person.
Still an unlikable character. Bad monarch clearly hated by the people and neglects his dutys in favor of caring with his depraved and selfish needs, week man who lets his wife to get the worst of him and unable to assert his dominance, irresponsible willing to endanger himself and his position just to meet publicly with his lover who clearly despises him, goes into an affair with a guy he met 25 years prior and he dosent even remembers the name of and continues the affair even after blitz exposes him infront of his wife and friends and steals the most valuable item he helds and got from his father a family relic wich gurantees his power, careless not noticing the obvious signs that hes wife is plotting against him, weak minded unable to take action even after his wife threatens him, to break up with her properly, to punish her or others for making fun of him, Worst of all despite all of this hes only made one heir to the throne despite the fact that hes very unpopular and based on the bird ladys comments there are many in his family willing to take his position. And its obvious that he didnt really teached his heir to how to behave or rule propperly. Overall a joke of a man. Frankly I dont think that Stolas will have a happy ending
@@anuszbizsergetokommentek2171 It’s true and he should say it. Sorry for thinking giving him a Joker origin story doesn’t make him any better of a character.
I think the things that hurt the most is seeing how Blitzo never really cared about Stolas and was only ever using him and how much Stolas cared for Blitzo and didn't know he was being used. Also how absolutely innocent and lovely the imp boys were as kids and knowing how they've ended up.. especially fizz. Well done on making their kid version so realistic and akin to a kid.
Blitzo is terrified of rejection. He can never make a relationship work so he's petrified to give himself to another person fully. He has his own trauma that he needs to work through. I'm not saying that Blitzo is right and Stolas is wrong. They both have deep-rooted trauma that needs to be worked through in therapy. I'm sure Blitzo wants to be in a relationship w/ Stolas but the thought of losing him is way too much for Blitzo so he pushes him away as a defense mechanism in order to make sure he doesn't get too close at all. He's under the mindset, "If I don't let people close, they can't hurt me anymore." I really hope they can be happy.
Quite a reversal from how the character was originally written/portrayed. Seems like they did some HARD ret-conning after they realized people liked Stolas as a character so much.
Cool and very cute small details: 0:11 his cute face 0:12 the subtitles with exclamation point (lol) 3:04 little Stolas blush 4:02 - 4:10 baby blitz face 4:21 Stolas owl noises 6:06/6:07 little blitz tongue 8:01 Blitz outfit 13:13 music reminds me of music from Spring Broken episode 14:42 stolas teenager portrait
God damn, Stolas sings is an emotional powerhouse. His exhaustion from their night at Ozzie’s, joy when reminiscing Blitzø returning after all these years, to heartbreak when he accepts Blitzø doesn’t feel the same. Bryce absolutely nailed it.
I love that demon/imp children are portrayed as actual playful, innocent, and loving. They're not murderous and inappropriate from the start, no stereotypes, they're just raised poorly since hell is made up of the worst of human nature, amped by 1000% since its encouraged. Poor kids. They started so sweet. Also baby Fizz is precious. He was so loving
Well the ENTIRETY of hell isnt made up of the worst human nature. In the Hazbin/Helluva universe, Humans(known as Sinners) can only stay in the Pride Ring. The extermination mentioned in the Hazbin Hotel Pilot takes place in the Pride Ring. The exterminators dont discriminate between demon and sinner but the the point if it is to make room in the pride ring for more sinners since they cant go to the other rings
@@sheevpalpatine6139 They apparently have a half decent healthcare system (if likely only for the wealthy) given Stolas seems to have a legitimate prescription for those anti-depressant happy pills.
Can we talk about Stella's voice actress? She's done an insanely great job at voicing that gremlin of a woman and I honestly loved the Aya her voice sounded when she was trying to manipulate stoles into staying married, not the kind of love that I would support the actions, but its sounded convincing and such, idk, it just stuck out to me
The fact that he didn’t immediately suspect Blitzø of coming to rob him when he broke into his room probably means that Stokes never realized he was robbed 25 years before either 😭
I love the callback to how Stolas takes his daughter to the circus to cheer her up after we find that his father also took him to the circus when he was sad.

I didn't realize that thank you.
It honestly explains why he has the behavior he has
I just noticed a difference in how Stolas treats the servants and how Stella treats them. He's noticeable more respectful towards them.
@@bullzdawguk a little strange since Stolas is literally superior to an imp

But Stolas ends up noticing and caring.
But the intentions were definitely different. Stolas's dad just wanted him to stop crying. Stolas actually felt bad about the divorce for Octavia so he tried to do something nice.

The book Stolas reads about Asmodean Crystals reads:
"Bestowed to mainly succubi and incubi by the king sin of lust- these crytsals allow access to the mortal realm.

Little Stolas bawling his eyes out after being shown the picture of Stella shattered my heart into little bits. Little man knew just from the picture that she was horrible.
You know, if she took a few seconds to think about it, she would realize the divorce would benefit her. I mean:
She won't have to take as much, if any responsibility for a child she has yet to act like she cares about.
She could hook up with someone who would be her definition of a good partner.
She doesn't have to play pretend loving wife anymore.
Really, the only downside for her is that she won't have someone just take the abuse. Seriously, how bad does a partner have to be to drive the other to take "happy pills" every morning?

Any marriage engagement that a parent does that is done without the offspring as an adults consent, then that is a forced engagement that will eventually lead to a forced marriage. He was unhappy for so long, finally felt it with Blitz, basically ruined his reputation even more for him- and yet he’s in an even worse position now than before he met Blitz again. I hope he gets some closure and doesn’t get murdered by his wife. Lol.

I hope stolas survives as well
The fact that Stella was talking about how Stolas just looks at the wall in bed and then contrasting it with Stolas' excitement to sleep with Blitzø is so funny to me

Why ?

Then again, most protagonist of a story do NOT have a hitman agency, do they ?
The anger of peaceful and calm person is worse than of constant anger person.

Right? Though, people change as they get older.
This series just keeps getting better and better. And I love Stollas' development. He really has gone from a supporting charcater to one of the main highlights of the show. And cheers to the poor Owlguy for finally taking a stand.

What makes me love Stolas's character even more is the fact that he doesnt want to hurt Stella despite her treating him awfully basically his entire life and it was shown in episode 6 what hes capable of
for the most part the actual stolas from demonology is a pacifist so it makes sense. that's also why he didn't kill any of the humans in truth seekers

I just realized how freaking BIG Blitzø’s dad’s horns are- look at those, I’m surprised they haven’t impaled him yet.
Gem? Fola
I sense Stolas-Stella defamation trial coming soon.
We might get a episode on why blitz is like this
Still an unlikable character.
I think the things that hurt the most is seeing how Blitzo never really
cared about Stolas and was only ever using him and how much Stolas cared for Blitzo and didn't know he was being used.
Also how absolutely innocent and lovely the imp boys were as kids and knowing how they've ended up.. especially fizz. Well done on making their kid version so realistic and akin to a kid.
"That's so gross!", 25 YEARS LATER: *Cuts off his limbs to become a robot*
Blitzo is terrified of rejection. He can never make a relationship work so he's petrified to give himself to another person fully. He has his own trauma that he needs to work through.
I'm not saying that Blitzo is right and Stolas is wrong. They both have deep-rooted trauma that needs to be worked through in therapy.
I'm sure Blitzo wants to be in a relationship w/ Stolas but the thought of losing him is way too much for Blitzo so he pushes him away as a defense mechanism in order to make sure he doesn't get too close at all. He's under the mindset, "If I don't let people close, they can't hurt me anymore."
I really hope they can be happy.
Quite a reversal from how the character was originally written/portrayed. Seems like they did some HARD ret-conning after they realized people liked Stolas as a character so much.

Well nobody's born acting evil lol, even in hell.

Can we talk about Stella's voice actress? She's done an insanely great job at voicing that gremlin of a woman and I honestly loved the Aya her voice sounded when she was trying to manipulate stoles into staying married, not the kind of love that I would support the actions, but its sounded convincing and such, idk, it just stuck out to me
She works a lot with Brandon Rogers and she’s a pretty good actress, also she played the queen of england

her voice is so recognizable considering she and brandon always does the british couple thing, which is HILARIOUS
The fact that he didn’t immediately suspect Blitzø of coming to rob him when he broke into his room probably means that Stokes never realized he was robbed 25 years before either 😭
