I like how this ties WAAAAY back to Moxxie struggling to shoot a family and when he asks when they'd need to kill a family he replies with "Maybe a shitty dad or a mob family." I love that this was all foreshadowed so very long ago.
I love how after Millie heard how Chaz betrayed Moxxie, she was almost inconsolably angry, she didn't care that they dated, but the fact that he did that to HER husband? Hell no
Blitz says "the babysitter will kill me if I'm late" but we know that he didn't adopt Loona until she was 17. It's absolutely killing me to imagine him hiring a babysitter for a seventeen-year-old. A small detail, but the mental image is priceless.
I love how Blitz came to the realization Chazwick was hiding something because the thought of Chazwick scoring "two hotties" like Millie and Moxxie is too unbelievable.
This really helps show why Moxxie is so respectful to Blitz to the point of near hero worship at times and why Blitz's opinion of him matters so much to him. Also, we stan a Blitzo that goes snooping to protect his employees.
This episode also shows why it took so long for Moxie to call Blitzø by his name and not "sir." He's been forced into using it for the main authority figures in his life up to this point.
Why does this lowkey make me think moxxie considers blitz a bit of a father figure... he calls blitz and his dad the same thing but calls blitz by his proper name more then he calls his real dad "dad"... so blitz is like a better dad then his actual dad so he's a dad FIGURE to him?🤔
5:11 I like the detail that Blitz knew that crimson spiked the drink so he fake sipped it. When a drink is spiked the ice doesnt float(normally ice floats in drinks).
I love how as soon as Moxxie was put in jail, he met Blitzø who immediately was very hospitable and nice to him, being talkative and open to any conversation. I also love how Moxxie felt more comfortable and receptive when he heard Blitzø was escaping for his daughter. Keep up the good work Vivziepop.
I bet Blitzø has NO IDEA how much that meant to Moxxie at the time. Even though he immediately took charge, Blitzø didn't care about Moxxie's past or his credentials, he instantly saw Moxxie's values and trusted him right away. Not to mention he was just upfront friendly and transparent with Moxxie from the get-go. We know throughout this entire series, even if Blitzø may have gotten snippy with his co-workers time to time, he never ever manipulates them, takes advantage of them, or take them for granted. It's no wonder Moxxie follows Blitzø through thick and thin!
hats off to moxxie’s mom for engraving such good morals into him at such a young age. even after all of moxxie’s dad’s bullshit- moxxie’s REFUSED to betray his mom’s values. what a son!
@@Sunflower.Brainsctually that's a random male imp, you should be able to tell due to them sawed off horns. They're a big chunk of white at the end. If it was his mom they would be much thinner and black.
I love the fact Blitz literally said "No one who's that bad in bed can score two hotties that easily." Meaning he thinks both Millie and Moxxie are hot as fuck and we love that for him
I love how Blitz turns on the radio in the car, goes to put on his belt, and pauses before clicking it in to change the music when he realizes that it is Fizzarolli who sings
That instant, "yes sir" from moxie just shows how truly bred into him that abuse was. He didn't even fucking hesitate, he just responded and put his head down
Well Moxxie’s words of "But it's a family! Under what circumstances would we ever need to kill a human family? Maybe like a shitty dad or a mob family. That's understandable." mean a lot more now than just a throwaway line.
And when Blitzø asked Moxie was dreaming about Moxie answers "my parents being murdered". Thats... a lot deeper now that we know what happened to Moxie's mom and what will likely happen to Crimson at one point.
I'm so sad about Moxxie's mom. We didn't even get to see much of her, but the fact that she protected him, got abused and eventually murdered for it, is so heartbreaking. And poor Mox saw it all
That one scene when Moxie walks up to his dad knowing he was probably going to get hit but he walked up anyway was kind of hard to watch. This was a fantastic episode and made me really feel bad for Moxie. I’m glad he found Millie and Blitzo.
Moxxie's full backstory, how he met Blitz, Moxxie's dad, Millie defending what is hers, great animation, funniest jokes ever, this show is just all that is amazing 💖
This episode had the makings of emotions and violence from stuff like Harley Quinn and Invincible. Animation can be for any age range and told in grand ways, and Helluva Boss clearly is amongst the top listings for that label of authenticity and respect.
@@coreynugget6646 Judging from the scenario, I believe he didn't want them to die so I doubt he had any contact with the Crimson at all since he left, probably still having somewhat of a father-son relationship. He might have still seen it as an overall nightmare.
Pensuke: It is about time! The time for contract is coming near. I will bring the Utopian System of Litches and Daemons to this verse. Beware Demons… for I have come.
I love that there's subtitles (non generated) for this season. This means a lot in terms of accessibility. Thank you! I wish one day season 1 has them as well. Congrats for Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. I love both. I started with the latter, but thanks to a girl I fell in love with, I'm watching and deeply enjoying Helluva now. I'm definitely a fan of your work now and a fan of the way you call out different aspects and issues of the world that need it in your own unique way. I also adore how you leave no one out. That's how it should be. Cheers from Spain Vivzie!
Just wanted to throw this fact out there real quick: This episode amassed over 4.7 million viewers in a single day, which, if we are to compare that to the Nielsen ratings of cable television, means that this episode alone has received higher viewership on its opening day than any episode in the first TWO AND A HALF SEASONS of Game of Thrones on THEIR opening nights! That's insane.
I mean it would have been possible that he could’ve been a cultured Wrath Ring Imp like he purportedly claimed he was up until this episode, but seeing how Wrath or what we’ve seen of it is mostly farmland, him being a part of the mafia in Greed makes a lot more sense.
Notice how quietly Moxxie cries, even when he's full on sobbing. People who come from abusive homes tend to learn how to break down quietly, so they don't attract the abuser's attention and get into even more trouble.
90% of this episode was basically Richard Horvitz arguing with himself, and other 10% showing how badass Millie and Blitzo truly are when they work together.
@Mariah the marionette What are you talking about? He drunkenly said "I OBJECT" then proceeded to pass out until he was used as a weapon to kill at least two whole goons
I love that Blitz's first impression to Moxxie was that he was more concerned with getting back home to his daughter, simultaneously demonstrating Blitz's determination to be a better Dad than he had, while also showing Mox that there are people who give a shit about their kid like his mother did
The way moxxie stood up for himself against his mafia dad crimson and how Millie went absolutely ballistic against EVERYONE at the wedding was honestly great, this episode overall was a 10/10
It annoyed me so much when he stood up for himself just to be shocked. As much as I love this series it does feel like all of Moxxies potential just gets played off as a joke.
TBH I was hoping a tad more on Moxxie's part like pointing a gun at his dad as a first and final warning to fuck off and stay out of his life for good.
@V1CT0RY Games While I do agree with this, I'm not too sure what else was to be expected around that point, he was trying to warn his dad and not just straight up attack him, and he only had this change a night ago in terms of the shows time, etc. Though I do wish he had more scenes where he was kicking ass like how they showed in Truth Deekers, they can balance out how he acts with him also being a badass, especially since we now know he has a full on Mafia background all the way up into adult hood, alongside training- it's just strange to see how they treat him when it comes to fights since he can obviously hold his own really well if we just got to see more of that.
I really appreciate that Blitz is a horndog but not an idiot. He knows when he's being played. Solid detective work from the Boss this episode, while Moxxie gets to deal with--or start dealing with--his demons (as it were) and Millie gets to go absolutely postal which is how we love her best
It was a shame that Moxxie still hasn't gotten a real chance to shine in these situations. Most of his badass moments have been emotional rather than physical. The major 'Moxxie's moment so shine' moments all seem to end poorly for him. He got his ass kicked by Striker, and this time he got taken by a random goon in a sneak attack. I know his schtick is firearms and he's not a hand-to-hand combat badass like Millie, but I'd like to see him get out of one of these situations by himself one of these days. Or at least be the one to save someone else. Has he saved anyone else yet? I'd have to go back and rewatch the series to check, but I only recall him ever being the one who needs saving. Oh, the first episode, I think? Didn't he save the others from the cannibals? Still, the first episode almost felt like a different show. Or it's the second episode, if you count the pilot (which felt like even *more* of a different show). I dunno, Moxxie's been a 'damsel in distress' character quite a bit. Want the poor guy to catch a break soon. Though I suppose if having an amazing wife like Millie requires the short end of the stick in every other aspect of his life, it seems like a good trade. At any rate, Millie or someone needs to teach the poor bastard some escape techniques. Ways to get out of a grab/chokehold, ways to slip out of ropes, etc. Seems like he's been tied up/grabbed enough at this point that those techniques would be very, very handy to know XD
@@kenjutsukata1o1 yeah I totally agree. While Millie is absolutely badass, I would love to see Moxxie kick ass in his own right, because he is talented and it should be shown
Wow, Vivzie! This was absolutely crazy and I loved watching this and learning more about Moxxie and jeez, I didn’t cry but OMG Moxxie’s past fricking broke me and Millie obliterating everyone at the wedding was ✨Amazing✨and both Brandon, Richard, and Vivian did a beautiful job voice acting their characters and I’m so proud of them all! Keep up the amazing work, Viv!
Honestly the fact that we finally get to see and learn more about Moxxie’s family, honestly really starts to make his character even way more interesting then it already is on a good way of course.
His impressive marksmanship n experience with weapons, his formal demeanor as an ex mafia member along with his soft spoken side from motherly love but insecurities concerning masculinity via his father.
I was so happy seeing Moxxie standing up for himself against his dad. Just shows how much he really loves Millie and how he’ll never betray her for anything, even his father.
Even under the explicit threat of death and torture, Moxie wouldn't betray Millie. Thier love is too wholesome for hell. Guess that's why they murder on the regular and with reckless abandon
Moxie's back story on how he met Blitz, and how he never wanted to come back is amazing because he has his reasons ,and Milly protecting their relationship is beautiful. Especially how they never let anything get to them plus Blitz talks too much but you learn to understand him when he's not being a hole. I don't like Moxie's father at all especially the road he chose but not everyone's family is perfect
Their relationship is so cute and I love them so much! They both trust each other so much and they would do so mcuh for each other. Millie literally killed for him, and Moxxie stood up to his father (which, knowing the context is just as badass and brave) for her.
@@NarcissistMargarine if You checked he talks a lot about "this family" but the table is empty and the walls are full of horns with the same pattern as them, even when he tried to make moxxie as child to shoot to that Demon it looks similar to both. So i agree with you is far from "just not perfect"
No like seriously 😭 I remember I told my mom I was bi and she was so confused that someone can like both genders💀. I literally laughed so hard when that happened.
At around 8:17, when Blitzø and Moxie first meet, you can see the relief/happiness when he (Moxie) hears that Blitzø has a daughter he cares about and NEEDS to get back to.
Honestly Millie seems to be the only one of the group that doesn't have an emotionally scaring backstory, and she's also the most viciously violent baserker of them all.
That's because she's an afterthought; she's never been as developed as the boys. Even when visiting her family, the episode focused on Mox, Blitz and Striker. Same thing happened in the beach episode where Loona should've had focus but was the B plot. The girls are horribly neglected in this show and it's so disappointing for both their sake and ours.
well she had a good upbringing with supportive parents that supported her killing even if the town didn't, that is what happens when you allow a natural talent to bloom and do what you can to support it instead of trying to force a child into doing something they are not.
I see a lot of it as confidence in herself. She knows she’s badass and no one is gonna tell her to reign it in. I think with the more…. Not emotionally scaring upbringing, she has alot less glaringly obvious insecurities that hold her back.
I just LOVE how Millie just jumped right into business and grabbed Moxie without any unecessary talks except declaring Moxie is hers LMAO. It felt soooo good.
Dude in Episode 1 and 5 she got knocked out cold easily which made me think Millie was kinda bland and wimpy...but after the D.H.O.R.K fight and this I think I like her.
@@hehhehhehheh-wn7zz she's basically a glass cannon; she hits hard as FUCK, but if you can catch her flat footed you can knock her off her game. Also, she got that Rage Boost thing goin on, so that definitely helps lol
Damn, the details are IMMENSE The table scene, you can see how each of them hold their utensils differently, which says a lot about them Chazz not really knowing what he's doing and diddling about Milly holding them like she's about to stab someone/really like someone who wasn't taught "proper table manners" Moxxy holding it almost correctly/elegantly like a pen, but not exactly correct And of course Crimson holding it like a gentleman And Blitz, also holding them similar to Milly - like someone who never learned proper etiquette
Hello just wanna ask about the scene in 18:56 ...why does Crimson doesnt want Chaz to seat in his left hand side in the table? He has no problems in it when they all dine in the earlier scene 8:44 ?
The captions quite literally say “Girl Boss Country Music Plays” when she’s on her rampage, and I LOVE THAT Just wish we could hear the version with no talking/fighting. 10/10 theme song
I think it really highlights how she's from Wrath and I love it! She's so vicious, violent, and just good af in her fight scenes it would feel wrong for a wrath imp to not have those traits yk? Like how Striker is also a very angry, violent and cold blooded killer angry at the blue bloods. His new song is a great highlight of that
@@Lightninglord12 I especially like how Blitz basically just stood back and let her rampage. He is no pushover himself, as we have seen him mow down plenty of mooks as well, but this time he was like "Naah, I'm just gonna stand back and let her get the rage out of her system."
I absolutely *_love_* how violently, protectively, territorial Millie is over Moxie. He's _her_ man. No one else's. But he's not stifled by her at all. He can be who he wants, talk to whoever he wants, and he has a badass hottie to protect him (and peg him). I love all of that
this is true and I also like how she's not jealous either. at no time in the series has she shown a jealous bone in her body. She's possessive of him yes but not controlling, her anger at Chaz started as her own issues with him but only turned to murderous rage when she learned how he had hurt Moxie.
Anyone else realize that Moxxie smiled and was willing to follow Blitz after he brought up that he "needed to get home to his daughter?" (+the mention of a babysitter?) Moxxie decided to trust Blitz because he realized he was a caring father 🥲
Definitely, he went from crying to smiling because he went from being abandoned by someone to meeting someone else who is planning on doing all they can to avoid abandoning someone else; it restored his faith of there being good people even in hell.
I just want to say i love how mad Millie got when she found out what Chaz did to Moxxie, it just shows how deeply they care about each other and honestly, Millie and Moxxie is one of my favourite couples ever
This is the only TV show I’ve seen in YEARS that doesn’t have an unhappy, failing marriage. And it’s about demons. Freaking DEMONS. It’s adorable, I wish there were more happy marriages in media
I love Millie giving the Bride from Kill Bill vibes! The ending fight feels like the scene where Uma Thurman goes to the Yakuza club to mess things up lol
@@boomgirlbucko Meanwhile Moxxie has loads of character backstory but super slow development and no agency to actually take control of his fucked-up life, always being the damsel.
@@boomgirlbucko yeah, actually. It’s been said before, but Millie needs more work as a character. She’s fun to watch, but the lack of depth kind of makes her feel like a walking Deus Ex Machina. None of the female characters save for Octavia really have that many layers- at least in comparison to the guys in terms of focus- and all she really seems to do is highlight the strengths/weaknesses that separate Moxxie from other imps. We’ve had an episode where we meet her parents, and Chaz was literally introduced in this episode as her ex. You’d think she would get more focus here, and both episodes ended up being all about Moxxie. I like Moxxie. But the bait and switch is low key irritating and I thought that maybe we’d see more about why Millie joined I.M.P and maybe some of her own insecurities about her job now that Blitz and Stolas’s relationship is more strained (though idk if that’s even a playing factor given the last episode). Between the small conversation about ‘free lance’ in The Harvest Moon Festival and how upset she was about Chaz supposedly making a lot of money, I thought maybe we would have seen why she cares to take this job specifically. Hell, they could have even made another M and M conflict, but just put it in her perspective to show what specifically she values in Moxxie that she doesn’t have in herself, or any insecurities about the relationship she has on her end. Maybe about it being rushed, since they seemed to get married without the approval of either of their parents, or not feeling like she understands some of his less exciting hobbies as much as she wants to without putting the focus on him. Preferably though, she should just have an episode with her and Blitz or some other character, or one by herself. I liked this episode on its own, but minus the action scenes, Millie just wasn’t the highlight for me.
The origin of Moxxie consistently calling Blitzo "sir" now makes more sense. It's drilled into him at a young age that that's how you address those more authority to him
It truly does bring Moxxie's habits and knowledge into perspective, even for such a small part of his background. Moxxie having the knowledge and many, many weapons, mafia father. Moxxie calling Blitzø sir, he was raised to say "sir" I wonder what would have become of Moxx if his mother wasn't unalived
Am I the only one who noticed how invested Blitzø is in m&m's relationship? The way he defends them, calls them hotties and takes their marriage super seriously is priceless and quite sweet
It is def sweet. But it also speaks to his own complexes, I think. He kinda lives vicariously thru their relationship (hence, the stalking). They have the loving relationship with each other that Blitzy longs for, but doesn't believe he's worthy of; so he's obsessed.
Yes exactly! That's what I noticed with Ozzie's, he was spying on them for this reason too I believe? I love how everything un this series can be an element to understand the characters better. Like Moxxie and Blitzø's bad trips both showed us new sides of the characters, like Mox being afraid if rejection or Blitzø being scared to love people and constantly haunted by what others say, it's actually really interesting because he appears like a tough and self-assured character, and every single detail can be a clue to understand him better
I think I can see why! The latest episode we learn blitzø is the reason they’re together so it makes sense with him thinking he only ruins people’s lives, having evidence that he causes good kinda, of course he’s telling everyone
I keep re-watching the part where Millie's theme song (to me) plays, it's one of my favorite pieces of animation I've ever seen and it's feels very much defiant to Crimson being sexist against Millie
Millie saying "this ass is MINE!" 10/10 best line of the entire episode. This episode did not disappoint. It was nice finally learning about Moxxie's backstory. Also, protective Blitzo over M&M was hella nice
Chaz also dated and dumped her, so she already had every right to be mad at him. Despite that, at the beginning of the episode, she chose to take the high road and unleash her anger on a training dummy instead of on him, which was commendable. I certainly wasn't surprised when she finally lost it after hearing that Chaz also hurt Moxxie even worse than he hurt her. I was expecting that to push her over the edge.
Love how Millie was only pissed at Chaz at first because of their own past and then she straight up wanted to kill him when she found out he betrayed Moxxie Her boy matters so much to her =w= 💕
@@badchilli1 You telling me you've never heard of the phrase "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorn"? Because I was taking that phrase and editing it. I meant to type "hath", you dingbat.
This show presents the best depiction of a loving and healthy relationship between two demons I’ve ever seen. Moxxie & Millie are the definition of relationship goals.
The fact that Millie has had such an amazing glowup in her job/murdering is honestly an amazing detail. She ‘single-handedly’ killed so many people from the Mafia, but in Episode 1 of Season 1 she was easily defeated. It’s amazing.
Tbf the team said the bottle she was hit with was holy water but yeah I think she still went down too fast. Plus it seems her strength really comes in when it comes to Moxxie vs humans
let me say... those were sharks so she was probably unleashing her hate. I'm happy it ended well and I can't wait to see Moxie's dad with an extra "e" dEad
5:15 Still a great detail that Moxxie seems to be talking to Blitz before he turns to his Dad and says Sir, he is terrified of him for good reason. Even now it’s still funny seeing Blitz get mad at Chaz for doing Moxxie and Millie since as we’ve seen in Season 1, that’s basically one of his fantasies. Chaz spells “can’t” wrong in the flashback as “ca’nt”, nice. And “Moksie”. One of my personal favourite moments from the episode is when we see how Moxxie met Blitz and how he smiles after he mentions his daughter, this would put this after he adopted Loona and we never see who the babysitter is, maybe Millie??? Who the hell knows. From what I’ve heard, the semi-recent LVL UP trailer gave us a clip of presumably a flashback on how Blitz and Millie meet so yeah. The entire moment between Moxxie and his Father is great, other than the dicks in the walls, it might mess with the tone of this serious scene. Chaz got some clothing from “Mammon Suit Rental”, this isn’t the first time we saw teases of Mammon and I’m glad Season 2 Episode 7 finally showed him physically. Moxxie standing up to his Father is also still a highlight, even if it wasn’t physically effective. Do I even have to mention Millie near the end? She continues to assert herself as a powerful woman who will do anything to protect her Husband. Still a damn good episode that I enjoy.
Moxie's family being in the Mafia makes soooo much since to why he's in the assassin business. I always wondered why Moxie, a nerdy, kind-hearted spaz would be good at or enjoy killing people. He already had the training
I mean, if I remember correctly, in the first episode he had a hard time killing that family, so I don't know about "enjoy killing" but yeah, now it does make sense why he's in the killing business.
This is how you do a relationship. This is how you show characters who actually care about each other. I'm so impressed with the writing team and you can tell they really care about this project. From the small facial details in animation to setting up backstory that makes sense for the characters. Also Millie is queen.
You serious? There hasn’t been a single Millie centered episode, and you think this relationship is written well?? Moxxie is something without Millie, but Millie is nothing without Moxxie
I love how Crimson was quick to cower out when Millie approaches and hands back Moxxie with no hesitation. Deep down he truly is a coward with a fragile need for control.
im sorry but she murdered his entire mafia on her own, i think handing him back is reasonable yk because... is millie constantly on steroids or something like jesus
It's basic battle/war tactics/discipline: When one sees that one cannot win, change one's tactics accordingly. When one has lost, don't make it worse because of one's pride; retreat for now and live to fight another day then wait for one's moment to strike. "Going down in a blaze of glory" for its own sake is pointless and is how a child/amateur thinks. After a person dies, that's it. Crimson saw that he had lost; there was no point in him dying for his pride or to prove that he was not a "coward". He knew that he was a leader, not a fighter whereas Millie was a fighter. He made the best call with what he had.
@@evianwyner8280 Well not his entire mafia more like the majority that were at the wedding for that time, Crimson still at least has his, I'm going to say his bodyguard/second in command shark deamon guy
23:05 I don't understand why the next time we see mob boss dad, he wants to kidnap Blitzø and hold him for ransom. Dude is the only one who actually helped Crimson in this episode.
I wasn’t expecting to be genuinely horrified at the drowning scene, shows the talent of this show, it can deliver so many different emotions flawlessly
@@thatvinceknot the person with the bag, it's the shoe that floats up after, it's the same his mom wore. It's a subtle note to show you how psychotic Crimson is.
13:50 I just understood this. This is where Crimson kills everyone he hates. And he killed Moxxie's mother here. All the stuff floating around came from the corpses.
@Wasi the Guitar Raccoon I suppose I should specify 'at the time', since neither Stolas nor Blitzø were dads at that time. Not saying Paimon was a 'good' dad, but he was certainly performing at a higher standard than most XD
I love how trusting of each other Millie and moxie are. Millie doesn’t try to interrogate moxie about his father, she just trusts that he’ll tell her when it’s a better time. They’re such good characters and they have such a good dynamic
Chaz was also her ex-boyfriend, so she already had grounds to be mad at him. Still, at the beginning of the episode, she chose to take the high road and unleash her anger on a training dummy instead of directly on him. However, once she found out that Chaz had also broke Moxxie's heart and hurt him even worse her, I wasn't surprised by her reaction at all. In fact, I was fully expecting it.
8:10 this was surprisingly wholesome. Moxxie just lost his boyfriend and got thrown in jail and Blitzø cheered him up just by being his wacky self. No wonder Moxxie always stuck by him. 14:33 also wholesome how badly Millie wants to share Moxxie's pain but he's trying to bare that burden alone to protect her.
I love how Blitzø genuinely thinks of Millie and Moxxie as "hotties" in their own respective ways and knew there was no way Chaz was able to score both of them without something to back it up, especially if he sucked in bed xD
The backstory of Moxxie's childhood absolutely breaks my heart. But seeing him in other episodes unbothered by his past and actually being happy with Millie despite what he's been through makes me think he is much stronger than we thought.
@@remyhavoc4463 he was actually my second favorite. But after this episode I guess I will have both favorites at first place! I enjoy characters which are not emo after their traumatic past experiences
He's stronger than even HE thinks, I suspect. An icon of inner strength hidden by a "weak" constitution. He doesn't let his past or anything really, get him down, at least not for long. Moxxie bounces right back.
So many callbacks to previous episodes. One that some people might have missed is after Moxxie kicks Chaz out of his room, we hear a little dog whine, which is the same sound he makes in the pilot when Millie says “Calm down, Mox, you’re gonna have another panic attack.” Moxxie had a panic attack in this episode. They hurt my boy.
Can we all appreciate just how badass that fight scene was. Millie going full on to slaughter everyone who got in her way and Moxxie standing up to his dad like that.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how awesome the mafia sharks' designs are? They look so stylish and badass! Seriously, the art team didn't have to go so hard making one-off characters with no dialogue and >5 seconds of screen time look so good, and yet they did anyway. God bless the folks behind this series!
The entire scene of Millie taking everyone down was epic. She alone is more powerful than an entire mob of mafia dudes. She legit de-boned so many of them.
I like how at the beginning of the episode when Millie is super angry, Moxxie isn't scared or tip-toeing around her. He's only concerned for her. He completely trusts her to not take the anger out on him. I like that very much

Blitz says "the babysitter will kill me if I'm late" but we know that he didn't adopt Loona until she was 17. It's absolutely killing me to imagine him hiring a babysitter for a seventeen-year-old. A small detail, but the mental image is priceless.
Ha!

100%

I keep re-watching the part where Millie's theme song (to me) plays, it's one of my favorite pieces of animation I've ever seen and it's feels very much defiant to Crimson being sexist against Millie
I just wish on the Moxxie focused episode he could have had SOME power in front of his dad instead of just being saved by Millie again.

Millie absolutely losing her shit after hearing about Chaz hurting Moxxie was incredibly sweet. I love their relationship so much.
They are amazing 👏 😍
Chaz also dated and dumped her, so she already had every right to be mad at him. Despite that, at the beginning of the episode, she chose to take the high road and unleash her anger on a training dummy instead of on him, which was commendable. I certainly wasn't surprised when she finally lost it after hearing that Chaz also hurt Moxxie even worse than he hurt her. I was expecting that to push her over the edge.
@Josias Lourenço please go away
Love how Millie was only pissed at Chaz at first because of their own past and then she straight up wanted to kill him when she found out he betrayed Moxxie

The fact that Millie has had such an amazing glowup in her job/murdering is honestly an amazing detail. She ‘single-handedly’ killed so many people from the Mafia, but in Episode 1 of Season 1 she was easily defeated. It’s amazing.

Now that we know Moxxie’s backstory, him being deeply affected by even modest praise from Blitzø makes a lot more sense….

This is how you do a relationship. This is how you show characters who actually care about each other. I'm so impressed with the writing team and you can tell they really care about this project. From the small facial details in animation to setting up backstory that makes sense for the characters.
Also Millie is queen.
Nay she is the queen of queens
Millie's by far the best character in this thing. She's funny, she's spunky, and she's a genuine force to be reckoned with.
They have one of the healthiest relationship in a adult cartoon in my opinion 🖤❤️
and that is how you do a complete badass of a woman without needing to showboat or say anything. She just does.
Yeah he orders People to kill i mean he dont is in combat at all
Bruv I don’t think it mattered who had moxxie they would’ve still let him go after seeing that sheet LMFAO
im sorry but she murdered his entire mafia on her own, i think handing him back is reasonable yk because... is millie constantly on steroids or something like jesus
