Oohh girl..I just got a call for a law firm to be interview. I haven't respond yet, because my nerves are killing me inside. I've been in retail almost my whole life and I made the decision to step aside from this industry. For obvious reason, I don't have receptionist experience, however I've been realistic in apply for entry level position where I can start this new job challenge. Tomorrow I will call back and set up the interview, hopefully I can start here, otherwise I will continue searching. Glad you made it into a good place to work.
A lot of law firms are hiring, answering services in Central America, paying $2.00 per hour and we answer all their calls and even do scheduling appointments for them, we are not allowed to said that we are an answering service, that way the caller think that we work insite. We answer calls not only for one office at the same time, we have around 20 offices at the same time, the sad part is that they dont care about us they are rude with us not only the clients but also the attorneys. I have to answer around 100 calls in a day for $2.00 per hour. Thank you American law firms...
We advise our members to not hire answering services in Central America. Everybody has the freedom to choose. We choose great in-house service and we nurture that excellence in our own employees.
Hey! I work as a receptionist at a local law firm and I'm still earning my college degree so I would say no! But probably depends on how large the firm is. Hope this helped

I didn't get the Job at the law firm BUT I got another JOB amazing Job working with a Dr. so it worked out!..The Law firm missed out!

I have a question, Do receptionist have to experience and Do a receptionist have to have a college degree. to work at a attorney office or a Law firm.
