I have the same one with the same issue… did you ever resolve it or should I just throw the whole thing away? I’m ready to set it on fire at this point 😅😂
i also have docking problem . we have it for 2 years and bought new wheels for the i7 plus replaced the wheels the left wheel was really worn down. so we replaced them thinking maybe that was causing not to dock properly. well that didn't fix the problem. showing your i7 looks like we have the same issues. did you get the problem fixed or identified the issue. thanks steve f
A possible way to fix this issue is by cleaning the charging contacts on the robot and docking station. If the charging contacts are too dirty it might not recognize it is on the dock to charge, which is why your ROOMBA might have that problem.
Has anyone found a fix for this? Roomba wants $150 to send it in for out of warranty service! Ridiculous for something that's 18 months old that we paid $900 for!
I had the i7+ for 2 days and it stopped in the middle of the room and will not restart. I did a factory reset and removed it from the app and tried to re-sync to no avail. Any ideas?
I had my i7 for 2 days before it started giving me an "undocking problem." And if I help it off it's base it give me a "drop off detected." Still waiting on a fix.
@@tylerw7531 ended up just buying an ecovac T8 AIVI with self emptying bin with the mop attachment. Got 15% off with honey browser. It vacuums better than my roomba and mops better than my braava. Both are just collecting dust now. Look at the T8 with the mop upgrade, it's definitely worth it. I think i paid less than $900 for all of that.

THEY ARE COMPLETE GARBAGE
Instead of saying that go wipe the sensors😂😁

The same to me. I am finding out why.

Try wiping the docking sensors in the roomba and the home base with a damp cloth
mine works fine try wiping charging contacts
Mine had the same issue too but i figured out the rolling brushes were not pushed in all the way
I just got a new one and it started doing that after 2 days
Same. Super frustrating, especially when all the advice is to clean your shiny new contacts 😖
It's charging but it won't run
Check the contact plates on robot and station. I had the exact same problem
These products are complete garbage. Mine has been replaced 2x by the manufacturer.
0 out of 10 would NEVER recommend.
