The black Porsche 911 Turbo, 928 and the Super Porsche Racer at the end are the most interesting from this batch imo. And it's usually the case that US collectors love European cars, while European collectors like American brands and US muscle cars. Thanks for another nice vintage Matchbox episode!
I like how the Hot Wheels version of the Porsche 928 had the headlights as part of the metal chassis poking through the hood but the Matchbox version is superior if only because it actually has an interior, unlike the Hot Wheels version which just had a blacked-out window piece. I got the "Elf" Porsche 935 in good condition from a Value Village thrift store last year, though that's the only variation I ever seem to be able to find of it. If I felt like going on eBay, I'd probably get at least the Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate variation for my candy logo collection.
hard to beat a black 911 turbo lol, red is ok,i like black 928's nice euro version, the gold 928 would look great with light details or tampos.super porsche racer looks like a 935 turbo sweet looking car. thanks for sharing bud.
As a Porsche collector myself, i can't pick a favorite. Not when the selection is so good. But if i had to pick one of them at a shop or a flea market i would go for the 935 as it is one casting i currently don't have.
I much prefer the more recent Porsche castings from the Matchbox Golden Age era 2007+, such as the exquisite 997 GT3, These castings are no good, maybe something about the wheels and goofy proportions. I suffer from Elisio style 1/64 OCD when it comes to Porsche castings
@@monsieurdiecasts3393 if it can make you feel better, i have way more variations of said 997 GT3 or the 996 Turbo than of the earlier Matchbox releases. :)
I'm a Porsche collector myself but never liked the older Matchbox Superfast Porsche castings such as these ones (no offense Dave, I know your collection is huge and that you won't take offense of me not liking a couple of your castings). I much prefer the more recent Porsche castings from the Matchbox Golden Age era 2007+, such as the exquisite 997 GT3, the first gen Porsche Cayenne and Panamera, and so on. I got no love for the Tyco Malaise era.

I like the 911 but the 935 is just a bit cooler!👍🏼
Very beutiful castings
I think the gold 928 is my favorite, then the black Turbo. I have the racing Porsche 935 in red.

Gold 928 my favourite, reminds me of the one Tom Cruise had in Risky Business.
