Porsche 928 Matchbox No. 59 restoration. Diecast model toy.

The Porsche 928 is a model initially produced in England by the company in Lesney. Production started in 1979 and continued until 1989. After AD 82, production was moved to Macau. This model aroused my interest because it was one of the last ones produced in England and it had active suspension and an opening door. To display the subtitles in your language in the movie, please press C on the computer or the three dots on the mobile phone in the movie. I chose the classic black color, because these cars were painted in gold, copper, blue, black and multi-colored. During the restoration of my complete model, I did some work of repairing the crooked axles of the wheels, regenerating the windshield and the interior. To complete the set of works, I made a copy of the box in accordance with the original. Thank you for watching the movie, I publish videos with the repair of cars on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

I like how on this channel you restore the more common later cars that aren't very collectible or valuable, whereas on other diecast restoration channels, they only seem to do the older, more collectible cars from the '60s and before. That really sets your channel apart from the others, and makes it interesting to watch, because you can only see the same car being restored so many times before it becomes repetitive.

Excellent job on that. I used to have a few of these when I was a kid, including the original colour that this model was with ‘928’ repeated on the bonnet, and a black one. I also had a plastic one that glowed in the dark, but I can’t remember if that was made my Matchbox or not.

W 1985 byłem małym chłopcem i leżałem w szpitalu i rodzice kupili mi w Pewexie ten właśnie model. Kosztował ok 1 $ ale wtedy zarabiało się ok 20 $ więc wydatek był spory. Autko w pięknym czarnym kolorze z logo porsche na masce jakiż byłem z niego dumny. I zaraz szpitalny korytarz zmienił się w tor wyścigowy. Podziwiam umiejętność odnawiania resoraków świetne hobby ja lubię sklejać modele ale restauracja starych zabawek jest zdecydowanie trudniejsza. A wychodzi Ci to po mistrzowsku!

Un lavoro fantastico!! ❤ Vorrei chiederti però conferma della differente misura di ruote tra matchbox anni 70/80 ed hot wheels: le prime sono evidentemente più larghe, e quando vanno sostituite bisogna fare molta attenzione alle dimensioni dei vari aftermarket che si possono trovare ( 5.2 mm se non sbaglio). Cambiandole invece ad esempio con normali ruote prese da hot wheels attuali, l'effetto finale sarebbe ahimè un po triste.... 😔. Grazie !!
